About: I worked at the San Diego Zoo for almost 20 years. My work there included animal care and nutrition. We can use the app for exotics. I have 3 rescue macaws. I have a lot of experience with exotics and aggressive dogs. Having just returned to Ohio from San Diego my schedule is quite flexible. I take care of my own pets, go to the gym and volunteer remotely for Wildlife Madagascar. In pet care i prioritize ilove and positive reinforcement. As the wife of a locksmith I'm also very meticulous about safety and security (i.e., I always double check to make sure that leash/harness clips and locks are secure).

About: Grew up with dogs. Haven’t had as many dogs as cats as they required more attention than cats and Rover didn’t exist when I was younger. I had 3 dogs in my young adult life over the course of 30 years. Currently we have a 9 year old pittie rescue and she is well cared for. I’m recently retired so my schedule is very flexible. Rover has made it possible for us to travel with peace of mind that our pets would be cared for. So I figured it would be a good fit as a retirement job and now I can give others the same peace of mind. The retired lifestyle has left me very flexible for going to people’s homes to help with their cat and dog maintenance while they travel. Currently not looking to offer in home services.

About: Hi there! My name is Corinne, and I have taken care of a wide variety animals since I was a child. My family raised puppies and kittens, and I helped care for and train them throughout their lifetime. I have tended pregnant and senior animals, and now I work as a volunteer at my local animal shelter. My priority will always be your pets safety and comfort. I will diligently follow your instructions and adapt my care to best fit your pets personality. I cannot tell you how much I love animals, and will shower your pet with all the snuggles and playtime that they desire! I work part time, so I am home a lot for the time being and can dedicate much of my time to your pet. I’d love to take them out so they can have plenty of exercise. I always makes sure that a new pet has a space of their own where they have everything they may need, including privacy. I understand that some pets need time to themselves when nervous about being away from their owners. I also understand that some might need extra love and care, so I’m more than happy to let them follow me throughout the home. To ensure their safety, we keep a tidy home, with food put away in secure locations. They will be kept on their leashes in the event that we need to leave the house.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a cat and a 3 year old pit/cattle dog mix. I have owned multiple dogs over the years, including reactive dogs, which gave me hands on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I worked closely with a professional trainer in the past and gained a lot of confidence in handling and understanding dogs of all kinds. Because my entire family has dogs, I’m constantly around animals and genuinely love spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet is different and that some are energetic and social, while others need patience, structure, and a calm approach. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a comforting presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 7-4, however I am fully remote and my job is relatively flexible. Working from home makes life easy as I can bring my laptop anywhere, (with your permission) and work while attending to your fur babies ☺️. I am fully available on weekends and most holidays as well! While I’d love to welcome every pet into my home, I have a reactive dog of my own, so I currently only offer care in clients’ homes through drop ins, walks, and house sitting. The safety and comfort of your pets and mine will always come first 💕

About: I’ve helped out with family pets my entire life (dogs, cats fish, guinea pigs, birds, rats) but in my early 20’s rescued a Doberman/blue heeler mix on my own. He is high anxiety and medicated twice daily for epileptic seizures, so medicine is also something I’m comfortable with. I also now have a Maine coon cat who is 10, a 3 yr old shepherd, cane corso, mastiff mix with 3 paws and a 3 yr old golden/ Pyrenees mix. I work daytime hours MWF, so I’m available for drop ins before and/or after work on those days. On T/TH, I’m available for drop ins or walks during the morning and afternoons :) For the care and safety of both the clients pets and my own, I would prefer to care for clients pets in their own homes.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely adore them. I have experience working with puppies and older dogs. I spent the whole summer dog walking and would absolutely love to help take care of yours. I have most availability on weekends but may be available week days in the evening depending on the day! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been told I have a “way with animals.” I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs before. Whether it’s a tiny tea cup dog or a large lab with more energy that they can contain, I’ve seen it all. I’m currently a senior in high school and play club volleyball. I have a part time job but am looking to gain more experience before college. Being a pet sitter and walking fits great for me since it’s a flexible schedule. I already take care of my own dog and cat at home and would love to add more pets to that list. As an athlete I am able to match your pets energy. I’m able to run around with them and throw their toys for as long as they may need it. I’m always down to explore new places on walks in any weather.

About: My family has had dogs since before I was born! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and know how to take care of fur babies of all ages :) Almost four years ago I adopted my first cat. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve also volunteered for dog shelters and watched family and friends pets on multiple occasions. I love puppies and older dogs. Everyone deserves to feel like they can leave their pet with a safe person who will love on their dog. I’m a very active person and take walks daily. My schedule is very flexible which makes it easy to be able to come home during the day and take dogs for walks or just be around at home to hang out. I care for them very much. My apartment has a dog park down the street as well as many grassed areas around to play and go potty. Nothing dangerous or unusual kept in house hold. About: Hi! I’m Cassie, a senior in college and a huge animal lover! I spent this past summer living in Charleston, South Carolina, where I cared for multiple dogs through Rover. I absolutely loved the experience and getting to know each dog’s different personality, routine, and needs, so now that I’m back at school, I’m excited to continue pet sitting through Rover in Oxford! I live in a house with other roommates and my roommate and best friend Maggie will be helping out with caring for your furry friends, but I do have my own private apartment-style unit attached to the house with a separate entrance, giving me a comfortable and more private space. My class schedule is also very flexible, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, overnight stays, and lots of attention throughout the day. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pet. I always make sure to follow each pet’s normal routine, give them plenty of love and attention, and keep owners updated with pictures and messages while they’re away. I truly loved the dogs I got to care for this summer and would love the chance to meet and care for yours! 🐾 I’m currently a college student with a very flexible class schedule, which gives me plenty of availability throughout the week and on weekends. I’m able to spend lots of time with the pets I watch and can easily work walks, potty breaks, playtime, and feeding into my daily routine. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re in my care. I follow all care instructions closely and do my best to keep each pet’s normal routine consistent. I live in my own private apartment-style unit attached to a house, so pets can have a comfortable and calm space with me. About: I have always grown up with pets and started getting into providing my services outside of family and immediate friends in the past couple of years. I work well with cats and dogs and would love to work with your schedule to do all that is wanted and needed for your furr baby. I am a medical imaging tech for TriHealth full time! Prefer to work from your home! My home has a kitty and puppy that are high energy and love their own space. Can do periodic check-ins or stay there overnight/ throughout the day, whatever you are more comfortable with. I live close to furfield so we can have play dates with other dogs as well!

About: I absolutely adore animals and have never lived a life without them. I adopted my very own sweet dog Sage at 18 (as soon as I was old enough) and she has been the light of my life. She has taught me a lot of patience and responsibility at a young age. She is definitely a wild girl but I wouldn’t trade her for the world! Since I have a dog I am pretty used to all of the craziness that comes with them like leash pulling, weird eating habits, mess, and of course slobber! I currently nanny from 9:00-5:00 Tuesday through Thursday so I am try to find something to fill that Friday-Monday gap! As I spend those days walking and caring for my own pup I figured I might as well look to see if I can help others! I am a very alert person when it comes to my dog as she is very shy and scared around certain things so I would have course be the same with anyone else’s dog! I would never want to put someone else’s baby in harms way so I am very cautious.

About: I currently work as a veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary medicine field for six years. Growing up, I had a feisty miniature dachshund and a goofy golden retriever. When I moved out, I got my own dynamic duo over the years- a chihuahua mix (Brulee- like the dessert crème Brulee) and three years later an Australian shepherd mix (muffin). Brulee was a very opinionated and particular girl while muffin is a gentle soul and afraid of her own shadow. I am fear free certified and have been since I entered the vet med field, it is something that is very important to me and I practice it with every animal I interact with. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. If they have special needs, behaviors, or quirks please tell me everything- I want to know all about your pet! Their comfort as well as yours is of the upmost importance to me. I love taking dogs on walks and hikes, allowing them to set the tone and pace- if they want to speed walk, we can do that or if they want to take a leisurely stroll sniffing every blade of grass that is fine too. I will keep your dog leashed the entire time we are out of the house, unless we are in an enclosed backyard. I do not take dogs to dog parks, unless have a well-established recall and if you request me to. However your pet wants to play, I am game- we can play ball, tug of war, hide and seek, or treat puzzles- whatever gets them excited! I am happy to medicate and feed your pet as needed. I prefer to meet you and your fur baby beforehand to ensure safety and it is a good fit! I currently work from home full time and pick up shifts at clinics when I can. My schedule hours vary so I can be available at normal or obscure hours. As long as we can find a window to make it work, I am happy to be flexible for you and your fur baby! I will care for your pets and home like I care for my own. If your pet has specific needs or if you have special requests, I will do my best to fulfill them to keep you and your pup happy, safe, and comfortable!
