“Brianna is the best! She takes such good care of our pups and is so relaxed. She attends to them as soon as she walks into the door which eases our anxiety of leaving. We will continue to have her stay with our pups 🐶 🐶!”

“Abby was wonderful! We will definitely be using her as a house sitter again. She kept our fur babies happy while we were gone. She’s an excellent communicator and shared updates, pictures and videos with us regularly and reached out when she had questions. When we returned home everything was clean and in order which is always a huge plus when returning from a vacation.”

“Abby did a great job taking care of our two dogs and cat while we were out of town for vacation! It was such great peace of mind to have someone with our animals while we were gone. Abby did a great job communicating and staying in touch with us, providing updates and pics throughout the week! Will definitely use her services again.”

“I can't recommend Tatiana highly enough - she's great! The first thing I noticed was how the dogs went right up to her when she came for a pre-sit Meet & Greet. My youngest (George) is very wary when meeting new people and needs time to get to know them before he warms up. During the sit, Tatiana was wonderful being there for him and giving him his space. Tatiana is an excellent communicator and took charge of the house. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing she was caring for our beloved pups. We look forward to having Tatiana sit for us again! Thank you!”

“I hired Caroline to petsit my dog Kobe for seven days. Kobe is special needs as he is four years old and was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of three. He takes anti-seizure meds throughout the day which is one of the reasons I work from home, and I am super overprotective of him. When we did our first meet-and-greet, Caroline came armed with a notepad and questions about Kobe, his likes, dislikes, and his habits. She wanted me to show her where everything was and was very mindful of every thing I told her concerning Kobe and his routine. She is a very kind young lady and seemingly loves animals. I have a camera and was able to check in on Caroline and Kobe throughout the 4.5 hours she'd be at my house. She is really responsive and good about letting me know when she arrives at the house, takes pictures throughout her shift, also videotapes her giving him his meds, and even proof of his poop events. All this is stuff she might have learned in her training with Rover, or just from her own experiences. I didn't ask for all that detail, but am not complaining to get the whole scoop on my dog while I am out. To pass the time while she sits my pooch, Caroline reads, writes, does stuff to keep herself occupied, even takes short naps with my dog, and I appreciate she feels comfortable enough in my home to be relaxed because our pets can sense those types of things. When Kobe first met Caroline he could not stop giving her kisses, and jumping up on her lap, he was so happy and excited he was crying he just could not contain his joy. Our pets are the ultimate judges, so I suggest you do a meet-and-greet with her and take it from there. Do I recommend her? Absolutely, as I will be using her again and again.”

“Elizabeth was truly a wonderful dog sitter! She went above and beyond leaving our home spotless, followed our pups schedule, was very communicative and gave us lots of updates and pictures. Our pup is usually very anxious and he was so happy and in such a great mood when we came home. Elizabeth cared for our pup like we do and is the best sitter we have ever had. We can’t thank you enough for taking such wonderful care of our pup and our home. I am looking forward to booking with her again and would highly recommend Elizabeth!”

“Excellent treatment and responsive to all requests. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with her to take care of. Thank you again for taking care of our family members!!”

“sadie was SO great staying at my place with lilah and sullivan! she consistently shared updates and was very clearly giving tons of attention to them. i also really appreciated her asking how she could leave my home for when i came back, and coordinating her departure with when i was on my way back. i would absolutely hire her for this again without hesitation 😊”

About: I have 3.5 years of professional experience managing a dog daycare/boarding/grooming facility averaging over 100 dogs per day. I have experience working with dogs of different sizes, ages, and breeds, as well as personal experience with cats too! I've also cared for small animals such as rabbits, hamsters, and fish. I grew up learning the importance of responsibility of pet care with our family dog and petsitting for my neighbors and friends. In previous years, I volunteered at my local animal shelter where I learned to work with dogs of various backgrounds and temperaments. In addition, I worked with both puppies and adult dogs through the Wilmington service dog organization, paws4people Foundation for three years. I love getting to know the unique personalities of each dog I meet. I’m currently a proud owner of three goofy rescue pups, so I know how much it means to trust the people who care for your fur baby. I am happy to ensure the comfort of your pet while you're away, provide them with one-on-one attention, and a walk if needed. I can't wait to meet your pet! I’m most available in the evenings on weekdays after 5:30pm and anytime on weekends. I may be able to accommodate early morning visits depending on your location. I can do anything from simple check-ins and potty breaks to walks, meals, medication administration, baths, nail trims, and more. I’ve been trained in basic pet first aid and have several years of personal and professional experience to ensure your pet stays safe while you’re away.

“Alissa is amazing! She did a great job taking care of our dog, Red. She went above and beyond to make sure he felt loved and safe. Red was relaxed and happy when we came home from a 10 day vacation!”

About: I’ve been walking dogs since I was 9. I’ve worked with dogs for most of my life. I have worked with training, dog physical therapy, walking, and over night care. I have created loving relationships with all the dogs I’ve walked as many of them I have spent years taking care of. I am very reliable and have built so many relationships with the owners of the dogs I’ve taken care of. I am a student at UNCW Wilmington, so my classes are in the morning and end around noon so I’ll be available early morning as well as afternoons and evenings. My schedule is very flexible, including weekends were I will be available for overnight and weekend sitting as well as dog walks! I live in an apartment so pet sitting in my place would not be available. I have a car so I will be able to drive to peoples houses or apartments to walk their dog in their neighborhood or bring their dogs to different places for walks.

About: I have had pets of all kinds and love all animals. I was a vet tech for many years and can work with all temperaments and administer any meds needed! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to give attention to your pets! I have a very flexible schedule and available for long term and short term care. I am unable to have pets stay at my apartment but I can spend as much time with your pets as needed! I will try to keep their routine as normal as possible!

“Debbie was not only patient, but actually cheerful as she dealt with my air conditioning system breaking down during a heat wave. She had to handle sleeping on the sofa instead of a bed, facilitating a diagnostic visit and then then a multi-hour work session to put in a new system. Her positive “no problem” attitude never slipped at all. Dogs and (newly cool) house looked great when I returned after two weeks away.”

“Lacey stayed with my animals the majority of the time, which they really appreciated since they struggle when left alone. She sent me updates and pics every day, and my pets all seemed to take a liking to her!”

About: Pets have always been my world! I grew up with a total of 4 cats and my family adopted our first dog, Penny, when I was 15. I took charge of her afternoon walks, playtime, and all the cuddles. Taking care of Penny taught me just how amazing the bond with a dog can be. A few years later, I went off to college and realized just how much I missed having a dog around. After two semesters, I adopted a rescue of my own and have loved every moment of caring for him since. From training challenges to vet visits, I’ve learned so much about what it means to be a dedicated pet parent. I’ve also been a Rover user myself, and I know firsthand how much peace of mind it brings to find someone you can trust with your dog. I want to give other pet parents the same great care and reassurance I received which is why I treat every pet like my own! If you’re looking for a sitter who truly cares, I’d love to help! I currently work a hybrid position only requiring me in the office three days a week; each for a half day. This leaves plenty of time for me to bond with your pet! I am also open to any requested accommodations. I always want to ensure my clients feel comfortable with someone new in their home which is why I make sure to provide photo and video updates!

“Jillian was excellent with our 14 month old Biscuit for the two weeks that we were out if town. She diligently walked her and took care if her needs. Buscuit is a cuddler and she was very content when we got back. She was very respectful of our home and left it the way she found it. She is a gem and I can recommend her wholeheartedly.”

“Samantha stayed with our dog Marley for the weekend and she was great! She was very communicative and shared pictures/video updates with us all weekend. She was willing to come meet Marley prior to staying with her, which gave me peace of mind with our shy girl! She left our place clean and in perfect condition and we would definitely recommend her and use her again in the future!”
