“Kelly is amazing!! She is prompt and great at communication! She gives the boys all the lovins and they love her! We have used her several times and will continue to do so :)”

“Paige was amazing and I am so glad I booked with her. I had some flight complications due to weather and Paige was able to extend care and be flexible to check in on my little guy. I had daily photo updates and could see that he was very happy and cared for while I was away. Very appreciative of Paige and absolutely recommend her to others looking for reliable pet care.”

“Rachel was great during the drop in visits. Our recently rescued pug is overweight & vision impaired so he requires the medicated eye drops, & Rachel was very caring in placing the eye drops. Our pug also takes awhile to relieve himself during a walk & Rachel was kind enough to take him on an extended walk so he could potty/poop multiple times during the walk. She was attentive to Totoro & we appreciated her accommodating his needs. Will definitely be utilizing her dog walking services again!”

“This is the 1st time I utilized this service and I am Very happy. After numerous years of uncertainty with tending to 4-legged loved ones, I feel pleased with Rover.com and will gladly be a return customer. A special thanks to Theresa for seeing my pets while I was gone. Theresa has been great & I'd love to request her again in the future if possible. Thank you, Don Harris”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. You can rest assured your pups, big and small, will get all the love and attention while you’re away. I currently work full-time, Monday through Friday, but have three pups of my own at home and can board additional pups overnight during the week and can do daytime walks on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and keep your pets separated from my household pets unless they are long-time visitors and we know everyone gets along well.

About: (I prefer to go by Rori) Before my kennel experience, I have watched over many neighbors dogs over the years! They bring me so much joy, having a dog in my life is a must! And, if I cannot have one myself, at least I can bring joy into another’s dogs lives while their owner is gone!!! Having worked at a boarding kennel and rescue for nearly 2 years now, I have spent a large amount of my pet care experience dealing with dogs at their most vulnerable. Because of this, I am very familiar with how to comfort and care for many different dog temperaments and breeds! I know how to respect their boundaries and keep your pets at as much ease as I can bring them :) Because of my boarding experience, I have worked with puppies under a year old, and senior dogs of all kinds of breeds. I understand how to accommodate and console older dogs: with lots of love and patience. I have encountered dogs who are aggressive in many forms: from people and/or dog aggressive to barrier and fence aggressive. I’ve handled dogs that react to nerves in various manners whether it be scared and cowering or more disagreeable. While I do not anticipate this behavior to be as extreme as what I saw in a kennel environment (where everything is new and abnormal) I do think this experience allows me to be adept at handling dogs through all their stages and kinds of discomfort. While at the kennel, I was also tasked with caring for our rescues. Housing 5-10 rescues at a time, I became very familiar with how to care for and bond with so many dogs. Taking the time to truly know and understand these rescues is my absolute favorite thing about working at the kennel! I have trained these dogs and made a point of learning how to handle even the most difficult of our rescues!! Socializing these dogs, helping them find peace and consistency in an otherwise chaotic environment fills me with purpose. I love them. I have so much love for these animals that I can’t possibly contain it!!! So, I would like to share it :) Having just moved to Illinois, I am available and willing to work anytime on weekdays until 4 PM to walk, watch and play with your fur babies!! I can work weekends sometimes :) I LOVE walking dogs!!! I’m happy to take them with me on walks in my neighborhood, your neighborhood, or to various parks!! Feeding, playing, and engaging with these sweet animals is something I am more than familiar with doing having taken care of the kennel dogs for so long now.

About: Hi, I’m Olivia! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and can’t imagine it any other way. I grew up with both cats and extra-large dog breeds like Newfoundlands and Labs, and now I share my life with two of my own—a sweet GS/Heeler mix named Cinder ❤️ and a lovable cat who keeps us both in check. I’ve been pet sitting since middle school, and I’m the go-to pet person for friends and coworkers. I’m also a passionate animal advocate, and I always aim to treat every pet like they’re my own. Currently, I offer dog walking and drop-in visits. Whether your pup needs an energy-burning walk or your cat just needs some company and a clean litter box, I’m happy to help! I genuinely enjoy being outdoors and connecting with animals of all kinds. I have experience with: • Large and giant breed dogs (Labs, Newfoundlands, German Shepherds, etc.) • Reactive dogs and leash-sensitive pups • Senior pets, medication routines, and special care needs • Cats, including shy or picky personalities Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a long walk, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for. ⸻ Helpful Info to Share With Me To give your pet the best care possible, please let me know: • Any medical conditions or physical limitations • Behavioral quirks (especially on walks or with new people) • Triggers, fears, or specific routines that help them feel safe Thanks so much—I’d love the chance to meet your furry family member! 🐾 Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily and weekly routine. Every day, I dedicate time to feeding, exercising, and playing with pets to keep them happy and healthy. I also set aside regular blocks of time for grooming, administering medications if needed, and giving lots of attention and affection. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, I make sure to create a consistent, caring environment that meets each pet’s unique needs. When I provide walks and drop-in visits, I prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort above all else. During walks, I keep pets securely leashed and stay aware of their surroundings to avoid any hazards. For drop-in visits, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain a familiar and calm environment, making sure pets get the care, attention, and companionship they need while their family is away. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me, so I communicate openly and respect each pet’s individual personality and needs.

About: I will provide reliable, loving care for your furry friends, whether it’s daily walks or in-home pet sitting. I focus on keeping your dog happy, healthy, and comfortable in a familiar environment. With personalized attention and a passion for pets, you can trust me to treat your dog like family. Your daily schedule as a dog walker and pet sitter might look something like this: Morning: Early morning walks for clients who need their dogs exercised before work. Quick check-ins for pets requiring morning feedings or medication. Busy walking hours, especially for clients with high-energy dogs or long workdays. House visits for cats or pets needing companionship, litter box cleaning, or playtime. Additional walks for dogs that need more than one outing. Follow-up visits for feeding, medication, or check-ins with senior pets. Evening walks to help dogs wind down before bedtime. Overnight pet-sitting duties if booked, ensuring pets are safe and comfortable in their homes. Early morning walks for clients who need their dogs exercised before work. I periodically watch pets for friends and family. Distance and time are very flexible most days. Let me know if you need assistance and I can find a way to make it work. Periodic walks are necessary for pets of all sizes and for humans as well. :) Favorite part of my day with my Pyrenees is long walks and sunshine.

“If you’re in need of an attentive, caring, timely, kind, and dedicated pet sitter, look no further. Alina is easily the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! Not only does she give the utmost attention to my little furball (giving him pets, treats, and cleaning up after his messes) but she also tends to my household while I’m away …the wind had blown my recycling bin over, and she picked it all up and put the bin back in place. Above and beyond! She’s also been so incredibly flexible, and has looked out for issues with the booking (for some reason I forgot to include one date on my most recent trip, and she noticed it, notified me, and graciously added that day to the booking). With Alaina, your pets and your home are in good hands.”

About: I have house and pet sat for many families over the years. Creating a safe, happy atmosphere for families is one of my true joys in this world. I love being able to help make sure people can go about their lives knowing their fur babies are safe and cared for. I believe in positive reinforcement and loving practices. Dogs have their quirks just like we humans do and I believe in taking the time to work and love each individual for who they are. I happily put that care into my own animals and am more than happy to help do the same for yours. I have recently moved to the area and am a stay at home pet mom! I am lucky to be flexible enough to create whatever type of schedule is necessary. I am happy to adhere with your household’s everyday practices. Crate? Great! Sleep in bed? I love fur baby cuddles! I am happy to supervise play in your fenced yard, or leash up for potty time.

About: I am a huge animal lover, I have 4 dogs of my own. I also volunteer/foster for a local animal shelter. I have recently had to use Rover to find pet care for my dogs so I know how important it is for you to feel comfortable with who is watching them! Dogs who stay with me will have access to their own room where they can relax if they choose. My dogs are friendly and they love to play so there is that option as well. I am willing to accommodate your pets needs! Whatever makes them happy! 🤗 I have also had all manner of small animals - bunnies, chinchillas, gerbils, guinea pigs, snakes, turtles, fish, etc. If you need care for your exotic animals please send me a message! I work a full time job 8 hours during the day. Otherwise I will be home to care for your dog! I also work close to home so I can check on pets throughout the day if necessary. I have a fenced in backyard. Your pet will get time outside and also plenty of one on one time. They will have their own room. I have my own dogs so if they want to play they can or if they prefer to be chill I can accommodate that as well.

“Thanks Ami, it looked like Storm had a fun time!!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember! I grew up taking care of my own dogs, and family and friends have previously relied on me to walk, bathe, feed, and care for their furry loved ones while away. I believe in building trust with every pet I meet and I love getting to know their unique personalities! I also know how much you care for your beloved pet, so I find it important to send you continuous updates and pictures of how your furry companion is doing! I am available all day/night Thursdays through Sundays. Mondays - Wednesdays I work from 8:30am - 4pm, but I get an hour lunch during the day that I love to take walks on! I am also available before or after work. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for your beloved pets. Whether in your home or mine, I provide a secure environment where your pet feels safe and can thrive. I believe maintaining a sense of trust, familiarity, and security are important so I maintain meticulous attention to detail. You can trust me to create a loving and nurturing environment where your pets feel right at home!

“Thank you so much for dropping in on Coogs!”

“Julia is patient and caring! When your pup is as set in his ways as mine, it takes someone that understands them, has patience to let them warm up, and cares enough to give them the love they need while their humans are away. Julia is my type of hero. Thanks for the peace of mind!”

About: Hi there! My name’s Jordan, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently share my home (and couch!) with 2 energetic dogs and 3 hilarious, personality filled cats. They’re not just pets to me, they’re family. Growing up with animals taught me the importance of patience, playtime, and knowing when a belly rub or a quiet cuddle is exactly what they need. Whether your pet is high-energy and loves fetch or a shy cuddle bug who just wants some company, I take the time to understand their unique personality and needs. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I do everything I can to make the experience stress free for both you and them. I treat every animal I care for like one of my own, because I know how much love they bring into our lives. Let’s make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away! I'm fortunate enough to work from home so i'm always available and easy to contact. I will be 110% devoted to your animals and I will make my schedule fit around your needs. I do not offer boarding because i'm currently living on the Warren Airforce Base BUT, I can assure you that your home, dogs, and belongings will be protected and taken care of.

“Hazel is always so amazing with our two kitties. The thorough updates and pictures each visit helps so much when I’m feeling guilty for leaving them.. especially when I see how many treats they are getting. We have a very fast eater who will try to steal the other’s wet food, and Hazel sits with them to make sure meal time is fair. Play time is really important for our brother/sister pair and her visits with them are always action packed. I’ve been using Rover for years and can say she has been the best drop-in sitter I’ve ever had. Thank you Hazel!”

“Leslie was great! Answered a last minute request and was able to add visits when are trip home was delayed. Highly recommend.”

Rosa L.
“Rosa has watched my dog Thor several times and she followed my instructions well. I never had any issues, and she communicated with me and even sent me some photos. She's a dog lover and dog owner as well. Also, not to age discriminate, but she is an adult and not a younger person, so she's reliable and trustworthy.”

“Originally I had Jordan walk my husband's dog a few times a week. But after seeing how happy the dog was when he played with him I decided to ask if he would be kind enough to watch them for a few days while we traveled. He said he would love to and the rest was history! My husband's dog has never bonded with someone so quickly, I highly recommend Jordan for any services he offers on here, he's such a sweet & thoughtful young man.”
