“Christie and Michael took the best care of our dog Delta. Their care does not include a cage but rather allowing dogs to be in the open as their property is large and fenced to keep dogs safe. Their children also play an integral part of caring for the dogs left in their care.”

“Out Dog Buddy is always excited to go see Sarah and Jamey C and their pets and daughter. When we pick him up he is happy, excited and very well taken care of. As long as Sarah is doing dog sitting/boarding, we will be using her. She takes excellent care and love of our dog.”

“Taylor provided excellent care for our corgi during our stay in Yosemite. She was highly communicative, sharing pictures, updates, and asking thoughtful questions. We greatly appreciate Taylor’s great care for our dog.”

About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. I am off work for the summer and many of my weekends are free now that my children are all teens and above. I am located conveniently near the 145 and highway 41 in the Madera Ranchos. On your way to Yosemite? Going to have some family time in Fresno? I’ll take care of your pet for you. Your dog will join the pack for its stay and relax or play on the 2 acres of fenced in land. I’m a teacher so I have open availability in the summer and on most weekends. I can check in on your pets in the afternoons or evenings when I’m working. I have 2 acres of fenced in yard. I also offer the dogs time to cool off in the pool and a large house to hang out in. If you want me to drop in on your pets at your home in the afternoons and weekends, I can do that too.

“Silvy felt right at home with Nicole and her family. We felt very comfortable leaving her in her care. She updated us and was quick with communication. Wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Thanks again, Nicole !”

“Was skeptical about using rover at first; a stranger is going to watch my dog??? But my first time was great, Charlotte treated my dog like one of her own and updated me with pics and videos of him living his best life my stress melted and I had an amazing vacation! Big Boy didn't even want to come home with me at the end of the day, until next time”

“Ruthie was absolutely wonderful!! She takes such good care of her pups and did the same with mine. It was a relief not to have to worry about my pups while I did a hike in Yosemite. I can’t recommend her enough! I’ve always thought my pups would love the farm life and after seeing my pups at Ruthie’s place, it only confirms that ?”

“Ashlee and her husband were amazing. My dog Skye loved both of them. They have a lot of room from dogs to run and play. My dog was happy and tired out and having a husky that’s not an easy thing. Both Ashlee and her husband really love dogs and it shows. I was very pleased and will be using them again in the future!”
“Shannon did a great job sitting our two large dogs; highly recommend! She gave routine updates, pictures, and read my dogs info before we arrived. She has a nice dog proof house. Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oakhurst
Christina took amazing care of biscuit while I was in the Yosemite national Park. She was so good with him, and even though he usually doesn’t get along with cats, it was no problem that she had an indoor cat. Her property was perfect for keeping him tired from running up and down the hill! I would definitely recommend Christina to other people who need boarding for their pups!
