About: My life is surrounded by animals, and that's the way I like it! I have been working with animals since I was 2 years old if not younger. I started out assisting in rehabilitating wildlife, which never left. I trained several dogs, from showmanship, to basic training, and even as a personal service dog. I have won several best of shows in showmanship. My daily routine is as follows: wake up, get coffee, wake birds up and let them out, let dogs out, feed cats, dogs, birds, make breakfast, hang out with the animals and wake up, eat lunch, clean house while incorporating working with the animals, bath time!, make social media content with the animals, start dinner with the animals, feed animals their foods, snack time, hang out with family, put everyone to bed, goodnight! Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”
About: I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals. From caring for my own, I found my love for taking care of others, and I branched out into petsitting, housesitting, and the feeding and care of all types, big and small. I’m available for your pets. About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! Now, I have my own family. Maya is our Rott. Mix and our first baby! She has been back and forth to Italy with us, on a road trip acoss the U.S. Everywhere we go she's with us. When we lived in Italy, we also had silkie chickens. I have owned rabbits , cats and one of my favorites was a ferret, D'artagnan. Our animals are our family.

I myself have used Rover for overnight stays for our pet Max and we know how difficult it can be to leave your fur baby in the care of someone you don't know. When I needed a pet sitter, I really appreciated the peace of mind that comes from knowing that my pet was being tended to as well as I would tend to him myself. Sadly, we recently said good-bye to our handsome boy Max of 14 years. Now I've decided to be part of the Rover community to be of service to families and their pets. We miss Max dearly, so here we are, ready to open our home to love and take care of your loyal furry friend...because...We truly believe that life is better with a dog! I grew up with dogs and as a young girl I worked at a ranch taking care of farm animals, and a few years back I fostered dogs in my home. My family and I are dog people and my daughter wants to be a veterinarian, she is naturally really good with dogs. Have had Max all her life has taught her proper responsibility and behavior with animals. We will fully incorporate your pet into our family. I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my daughter of 8, so your furry friend will never feel alone. I may need to run errands or take my daughter to and from practice. Please let me know how your dog does when left home alone for a short period of time. There will be constant supervision and interaction with your dog, especially cuddles. They will have as many potty breaks as they need, plenty of play, and will be part of our family while they are visiting. I have two parks nearby that we can walk over to, to get some of that playful energy out. All dogs that stay with us will have full access to our home. Photos and updates will be provided regularly. I am more than happy to schedule a one on one call or a meet and greet with you to provide that extra layer of comfort. We have a fenced yard. Not much traffic is coming in or out of our home so the front door is never left wide open. No pets in our home at this moment.

About: Currently not boarding or hosting day care. I live in a house with 2 acres of fenced in backyard. Have two cats and one 6 month old puppy. Large dogs will have ample space to run around. Will provide plenty of photos and keep in constant contact so you can rest assured your babies are being loved and cared for. I do have an XL crate and dog bed for those interested. Ideally, I ask you bring a familiar blanket or toy to help soothe the pets. Pet care is my main focus when they’re scheduled with me. My entire day is set to ensure I’m available for walks, potty breaks and playtime. I have 2 acres of grassy backyard that is fenced in. Perfect for big dogs to roam in. If you have high energy this is a good way to tire them out.

About: From photographer to sales coordinator, I recently left my job at a canine only training and boarding facility to work from home. I worked with dogs and their owner's every day for six months, monitoring, discussing medication and how it is to be administered, complicated feeding instructions, understanding good health and healthy dispositions in dog's and being able to make appropriate calls if an illness or injury or change in behavior were to arise. I have had my dog Kali for 13 years, I have a three year old cat named Brady, and the a newest addition to the family is female feline Luna . Kali is a 25 pound beagle mix that loves other dogs. About: My life is surrounded by animals, and that's the way I like it! I have been working with animals since I was 2 years old if not younger. I started out assisting in rehabilitating wildlife, which never left. I trained several dogs, from showmanship, to basic training, and even as a personal service dog. I have won several best of shows in showmanship. My daily routine is as follows: wake up, get coffee, wake birds up and let them out, let dogs out, feed cats, dogs, birds, make breakfast, hang out with the animals and wake up, eat lunch, clean house while incorporating working with the animals, bath time!, make social media content with the animals, start dinner with the animals, feed animals their foods, snack time, hang out with family, put everyone to bed, goodnight! I treat my animals better than I treat myself 😅 people/souls that can't help themselves, I've always had a place in my heart for, and I always do my best for them.

“Shannon did a great job sitting our two large dogs; highly recommend! She gave routine updates, pictures, and read my dogs info before we arrived. She has a nice dog proof house. Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”
