“Another great stay for Bodie with his second family! Always good to know when we have to leave our pet behind that he is in good hands and enjoying his time away from us too.”

“Taylor provided excellent care for our corgi during our stay in Yosemite. She was highly communicative, sharing pictures, updates, and asking thoughtful questions. We greatly appreciate Taylor’s great care for our dog.”

“Buddy has stayed with Sarah and Jamey twice now and you can tell he loves staying with them and their family. It's so reassuring to know we have someone special to care for Buddy when we have to go out of town for a few days. I highly recommend them.”

“I highly recommend Krystle as a dog sitter! She’s incredibly caring and attentive. She was very responsive and kept me updated with pictures, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she truly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own.”

“Corina was exceptional taking care of our little dog. She kept us up to date with pics and small videos, that gave us the peace of mind to know our dog was well taken care off and enjoy our trip. She was very accommodating while dropping and picking up, she also asked about any alergies, diet restrictions and any other info she might need. At first, our dog was a bit aggressive, but later on she was roaming as if she owned the house, that will tell you that she was being pampered with lots of attention. We will definitely use Corina again when needed.”

“This was my first time using Rover. Reached out to Frank and he was super responsive and answered all my questions. Sent me daily pics and videos of my little fur baby. Would DEFINITELY recommend! Thanks Frank!!”

“As always, Casper and Boo were well cared for during their stay. My flight was delayed, so I got back later than expected, but Clarissa was very willing to keep them as long as I needed. I have no worries when I leave by boys with her.”

“We haven’t picked up our pups yet, but couldn’t wait to leave this review for Jen bc of how much we have adored every bit of not just her updates but the care she’s showered them with!! From the first impression it was a home run choice and we’re so grateful she took our request! She’s gone above and beyond in making them feel so loved.. can’t thank her enough!”
“I left my puppy with Angela for a few nights, and couldn’t be more pleased! She was amazing updating me frequently and took such great care of my girl. Could not recommend her more!”

“Jennifer and her family did a great job of taking care of Kona. They have a very nice home and yard space. Very nice and friendly people who will take good care of your dog. I definitely recommend them and will book with them again. Kona came home happy, healthy, and wore out from all the attention she got. ?”

“Our usual sitter was unavailable & we trusted Abigail with our dog. It was our first time with her so we did a meet and greet. Abigail provided plenty of updates throughout the day without me having to ask. It gave us so much peace of mind. We will definitely be using Abigail again, she was very sweet & caring.”

“Eric was amazing with my golden retriever puppy. He sent daily updates on how she was doing and I could tell she was in very good hands. I would definitely board my dog with him again.”

About: Hi, I’m Alanis — a dependable and energetic medical student with a lifelong love for dogs! Between long study hours and clinical rotations, spending time with animals has become one of the most grounding and rewarding parts of my routine, and I’m excited to offer safe, attentive, and loving care for your pets through Rover. I have over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs of different breeds, personalities, and energy levels, including my own 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, Marcy, who has taught me the importance of patience, structure, play, and consistency. From high-energy walks and enrichment activities to cuddles on the couch and maintaining routines, I understand that every dog has unique needs and deserves individualized care. As a medical student, responsibility, communication, and attention to detail are deeply ingrained in my daily life. Pet parents can count on me to be reliable, organized, and attentive to both safety and comfort. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering basic medications if needed, and keeping owners updated with frequent messages and photos so you always know your pet is in good hands. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply having calm companionship while you’re away, I strive to create a stress-free and positive experience for both pets and owners. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. A few things you can expect when booking with me: - Reliable and responsive communication - Plenty of exercise, play, and affection at my apartment complex’s doggy run and nearby trails at Woodward Park - Respect for your dog’s routine and comfort level since I only accept 1 pet at a time! - Photo and video updates during visits or stays -A calm, trustworthy sitter who genuinely loves animals I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pup — and hopefully become someone you can consistently rely on for compassionate, high-quality pet care!🩷🐾 As a medical student, I keep a very structured and organized schedule, which allows me to dedicate focused, reliable time to pet care. I’m primarily available Friday evenings, weekends, and Mondays, which gives me flexibility for overnight stays, doggy day care, long walks, and quality one-on-one time with pets. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to recharge outside of school, so I genuinely enjoy being active, attentive, and fully present with every pet I care for. I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and making sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while their owner is away. I provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment in my apartment, where pets can feel comfortable and well cared for during their stay. My apartment complex is very dog-friendly and includes a fenced dog play area and a grooming station for easy clean-up and care. I also live near Woodward Park and several local walking trails, which are perfect for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time depending on your dog’s energy level and needs. Because I currently do not have any pets in the home, I’m able to give visiting pets my full attention in a quieter environment. I make sure pets stay on their normal routines as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, crate routines, and cuddle time. Whether your dog enjoys active adventures or prefers a relaxed environment, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away.
About: My life is surrounded by animals, and that's the way I like it! I have been working with animals since I was 2 years old if not younger. I started out assisting in rehabilitating wildlife, which never left. I trained several dogs, from showmanship, to basic training, and even as a personal service dog. I have won several best of shows in showmanship. My daily routine is as follows: wake up, get coffee, wake birds up and let them out, let dogs out, feed cats, dogs, birds, make breakfast, hang out with the animals and wake up, eat lunch, clean house while incorporating working with the animals, bath time!, make social media content with the animals, start dinner with the animals, feed animals their foods, snack time, hang out with family, put everyone to bed, goodnight! I treat my animals better than I treat myself 😅 people/souls that can't help themselves, I've always had a place in my heart for, and I always do my best for them.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Coarsegold
Christie and Michael were their first overnight Rover for four days. Upon arrival all dogs seemed very comfortable with this family. The typically aloof yorkies let the teenage boys pick them up and didn’t act like they wanted us or to be put down. The Great Dane ran in the house where the poodle was already on the couch wagging her tail waiting to play. Christie sent pictures and updates which were appreciated. I think the teenagers in the home were an added plus especially Silas who gave me his personal update on their care. Their family dog Georgia was friendly and plsyful with our dogs. Would recommend this family and use them again
