“Christie and Michael took the best care of our dog Delta. Their care does not include a cage but rather allowing dogs to be in the open as their property is large and fenced to keep dogs safe. Their children also play an integral part of caring for the dogs left in their care.”

“Out Dog Buddy is always excited to go see Sarah and Jamey C and their pets and daughter. When we pick him up he is happy, excited and very well taken care of. As long as Sarah is doing dog sitting/boarding, we will be using her. She takes excellent care and love of our dog.”

“Iris & Robert were AMAZING ? ! This was my first time using rover and they made me feel completely at ease of leaving our Chicago for 6 days. They sent regular updates and photographs and kept in contact. They responded so prompt with any questions we had. I’m so very happy with how they treated Chicago like family- he fit right in! Iris and Robert have our highest recommendation!”

“Clarissa is the best! She was so adaptable, her house was very clean and calm. She has a great disposition and interacted with River so well. We left River over Christmas we have never left her before so Clarissa took pictures of her and sent them to us. It was just what we needed, to see her at home in their home.”

“Korina took amazing care of our diabetic (and a little challenging) dog, Penny. I was so nervous because she has never been to a sitter since being on insulin, but Korina was able to successfully administer all of her shots. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it and hope you are available the next time we go out of town!”

About: Our family is slightly dog obsesssed :) We have a large backyard and home that is a dog’s dream. We work from home and adore puppy snuggles and play. We live on a quiet street in a great part of town. We treat all dogs like they are our own. We have experience in puppy training, elder dog care, and injured dogs care. Our children have been raised around all kinds of dogs and are respectful, cautious, and patient. Your baby will be loved and cared for, walked regularly, and hopefully returned nice and worn out from all the play :) Most activities we do as a family are usually dog friendly because we just can’t handle leaving our pups behind! We currently work from home and NEVER leave our pups for more than just few hours (one of ours is afraid of the dark). We are an active family so walks and play are a must. We have a secure fenced yard for lots of roaming around. We can crate dogs who feel more safe/secure in that environment, but we prefer they have the run of the house if they wish. We recognize a new environment can be overwhelming for your pup so we will do everything to reduce that anxiety for your baby :)
About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. I am off work for the summer and many of my weekends are free now that my children are all teens and above. I am located conveniently near the 145 and highway 41 in the Madera Ranchos. On your way to Yosemite? Going to have some family time in Fresno? I’ll take care of your pet for you. Your dog will join the pack for its stay and relax or play on the 2 acres of fenced in land. I’m a teacher so I have open availability in the summer and on most weekends. I can check in on your pets in the afternoons or evenings when I’m working. I have 2 acres of fenced in yard. I also offer the dogs time to cool off in the pool and a large house to hang out in. If you want me to drop in on your pets at your home in the afternoons and weekends, I can do that too.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and had an English Bulldog for almost 8 years as well as a bull mastiff growing up, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. Over the years, I’ve also pet sat and dog walked for neighbors, friends, and family. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m looking to broaden my pet-sitting and dog walking experience and would love the opportunity to care for your pets like they’re my own! I’m currently a full-time online student, so I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule. Aside from going to the gym or running an occasional errand, I’m usually home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and love throughout the day! Since my classes are online, I’m able to easily work pet care into my daily routine and make sure your dog isn’t left alone for long periods of time. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard with plenty of grass and room for dogs to play, run around, and get fresh air safely. I also don’t currently have any dogs in my home, so your pet will get my full attention and won’t have to worry about unfamiliar animals. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I also love taking dogs on walks and can adjust the length and pace depending on their age, energy level, and usual routine.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Coarsegold
Christie and Michael provided wonderful care for our dog, Azul. They are kind, caring, and incredibly responsive. Azul is elderly, has some health challenges, and is slow to warm up to new people, so we are very selective about who we trust to care for her. She has stayed with Christie and Michael multiple times, and each time has been a wonderful experience. They give us such peace of mind when we travel. We definitely recommend them!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
