âOur pup loves going to Sarahâs! He always has a blast playing with the other dogs and itâs very clear heâs being very well cared for. Sarah also sends me regular photos and updates, which I love. Weâll definitely be bringing Cosmo back (again) to Sarahâs!â

âMore fun and sun for Scooter at Emilyâs daycare with his BFFF! He gets love, exercise, love, play and sunbathing in his fleece shirt that Scooter feels he must wear! The photos were adorable! Scooter being Scooter! He was asleep during our long drive back & has retreated to an early bedtime! He is looking forward to spending time with you soon! Thank you!â

About: I've taken care of dogs from puppies to seniors. I can help with basic training and manners, as well as lots of "walkies" and couch time! Whatever your fur baby prefers, they will be loved by my family and I. I currently work from home, so I am available to your babies 'round the clock. If they need to be let out at specific times or take timely medications, I am available for that as well! I have a fenced yard with a very friendly male, beagle mix to keep your dogs company. I can also crate or separate easily if necessary! I can come to take them for a walk or let them out, no matter the Minnesota weather! I can provide pictures/videos, and updates as often as you'd like. They will be loved by family and I, and treated like one of our pack!
About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. I would love to have the opportunity to spoil your pet as well as give you a safe space to leave your furry friend! Over the summer I am out of work and home with my pups and kids. In late August I will be headed back to work at a school nearby but working relatively short hours. We love to go on walks, to the dog park, the human park or just lounge in the back yard. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a large back yard. It is not fenced in but I do have a long line. I have a 12 year old pup who is a calm, unbothered queen and a year old pup who loves everyone and everything. In addition, I have 2 kiddos that are incredibly respectful of other pets space and will love your pets as much as their own however they can be crated if needed đ

âPhillip was available and willing to take my dog for a couple of days when the plans I had fell through at the last minute, which was such a nice surprise and relief! My little dog is a bit anxious and does not like the cold at all, but he was able to keep him safe, warm and comfy while I was away. Thank you again Phillip!â

âKelly has been great with Coco! Because she has other dogs, Coco had the opportunity to socialize and have a ton of playtime. About: I have hands on experience caring for multiple dogs at the same time, including managing up to three dogs under my care and living in a home with five dogs. Iâm comfortable handling different personalities and energy levels, making sure everyone feels safe, happy, and included. I provide supervised playtime, walks, basic trick training, plenty of affection and cuddles. My focus is always on creating a calm, loving, and structured environment where dogs can be and care for. I work from home and spend most of my time at home doing crafts, painting, clay work, cooking, and baking. The only time I am usually away is when I go to the gym for a couple of hours, and then I return home. Because I am home most of the day, I can give your pet plenty of attention, care, and supervision. I am available most of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I have a cozy farmhouse with enough space for dogs to be comfortable. Thereâs a yard where we can play and spend time together, making sure your pet feels happy and cared for.

Phillipâs willingness to care for our Dog Wilbur for a 14hr day while we attended my daughterâs wedding, decreased the overall stress of the day! He was super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and understood the importance of the day. It was helpful to receive brief updates and a couple of photos throughout the day. You are amazing Phillip! Thank you so much!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Oakdale commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
