“Second time booking with William for a much longer out of state trip and he was great!!!! Super punctual and responsive! I felt comfortable leaving my anxious dog with him! Will definitely be booking with him again.”

“Amber was awesome! She took great care of our kitties, played with them and ensured all was best and tidy. Great communication and even a video and some pictures. Thank you!”

“Jenny is an exceptional pet sitter who went above and beyond in caring for my cat, Louie. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals was evident from the moment she started. She sent updates with photos of Louie, showing him looking happy and content. Not only did Jenny follow Louie's feeding schedule meticulously, but she also spent quality time playing with him and giving him the attention he needs. She noticed his favorite spots around the house and made sure to give him scratches and pets just where he likes them. What impressed me most was her conscientiousness. She kept the litter box impeccably clean and even noticed when Louie was being a bit shy and knew exactly how to coax him out with his favorite toys. She left detailed notes about his daily activities, eating habits, and general mood. I returned home to find a happy, well-cared-for cat who clearly had been given lots of love and attention. Jenny's professional yet caring approach gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and loving pet sitter. She's truly a gem!”

About: I’ve had the joy of raising and caring for two dogs—first a Doberman, and later a toy poodle—giving me firsthand experience with both large and small breeds. I also have experience working with children, and I believe the patience and attentiveness required for both roles strongly complement each other. In addition, I live an active lifestyle, so dog walking is not only something I enjoy—it’s a perfect fit. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk or a more gentle stroll, I’m happy to match their pace and personality. I’m reliable, observant, and committed to keeping your pet safe, happy, and well-cared for. I work full-time at Amazon, where I’m constantly on the move walking and running to deliver packages—so staying active is part of my daily routine. I work weekends and start in the afternoons, which means my mornings and days off (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) are ideal for weekday walks or drop-ins, especially for busy pet parents needing reliable care during the day. I currently live in an apartment, so at the moment I’m offering dog walking only. However, I’m excited to expand my services in the future as my space and schedule allow. My goal is to build trusted relationships with both pets and their owners while providing reliable, active care.

“Drew was great!! Billy Jean (cat) is extremely social and we could tell that she enjoyed her drop in visits and freshly scooped litter box. We received pictures and reports after each visit (which was wonderful) and he was even kind enough to bring in a package that came while we were out. We look forward to booking him again in the future!”

“Sierra was a great cat sitter for us over a long weekend. She dropped in when requested, fed and checked in on our cats, and maintained great communication during our vacation. She was quick to respond and gave a bit of extra attention to our senior cat. We would highly recommend her and book with her again!”

About: I have been a dog owner for over 50 years and understand first hand the importance and peace -of -mind that comes from having a trusted provider care for my pet when I am working or on vacation. I am an active senior and love having a dog to walk and for just plain old companionship. I have a Havanese/Shih Tzu (23 pounds) who is very sweet and good with other dogs. He likes to play and is even willing to share his bed with visiting dogs. Since I am retired I have a flexible schedule and live near a large city lake with a walking path. And if your dog has special needs I am certainly able and willing to accommodate. Please feel free to contact me with specific questions or concerns.

“This was our first Rover experience and they did an amazing job! They sent photos of playing with Zeke and he looked so happy! Thank you so much for making Zeke feel so comfortable.”

About: I have had at least two pets in my household my entire life so I am very comfortable around them and I love taking care of them! I currently work part time at Ulta Beauty so my schedule does change weekly. However, I am generally open in the mornings and later in the evenings and have on average 2-3 days off a week. I am also enrolled in an online Master’s Degree program that will start in August but I am able to work on that around my work schedule! Safe and enjoyable walks are provided, creating a positive and trusting experience for dogs and you, their owner! Safety is prioritized by using appropriate equipment like secure harnesses and sturdy leashes, remaining aware of surroundings, and avoiding potential dangers such as traffic or unleashed animals. Building trust happens through clear communication and respectful interactions. Comfort and well-being are prioritized on every walk, adapting to your pets individual needs and pace. Environmental responsibility is also a priority, with waste picked up and disposed of properly, contributing to a clean and enjoyable experience for everyone!

“Rebecca is an impeccable sitter. She is so reliable and communicative. I have always felt at ease leaving our pup with her and having her stop by our house. Luna bee always comes back tired from all the playing and happy as a clam :)”

“Stan is the BEST! He was so well prepared to take care of my three cats and was so kind to my son when he came for the introduction visit. Stan asks great questions and makes sure he has all the information so that I would feel comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Book him; you’ll be glad you did!”

“Jane was great. She sent pics and let me know each day how the doggies were doing. I’d highly recommend her!”

“Danielle did an excellent job with the pups! She also communicated very well throughout the visit. Would highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets my whole life - currently sharing a home with my four year old black lab, Mac. We go on multiple walks a day and I treat him like my own child, ensuring he gets plenty of exercise, love, and structure. Growing up I also cared for my family dog, Belle, our half Shih Tzu and half Lhasa Apso which taught me patience with calmer breeds and how to tailor routines to different temperaments. That experience, combined with my flexible schedule and comfort handling large breeds, means I provide personalized and consistent care - balancing energy, empathy, and expertise for every dog in my care! I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule to care for your pet! Any weekday from 7-4pm is available for pet care. I have a friendly black lab that can keep your fur baby company! We have a dog friendly house and a neighbor near lots of walking trails and places to take your dog to get exercise and socializing.

“Paula is one of the kindest people we have met and she will take good care of your pets; we trust her implicitly with our home and fur babies.”

“Returned home after 4 days with no problems. Thank you!”

About: Like those 2 year olds we love, I enjoy reading the expressions and do it well. Our mostly Rottweiler is as super as a lab, most often. Need to train them well though! I am currently deciding between nursing health care administration, after being a a health care professional for 22 years. I take time for family, home and self-compassion so that I can be ready for others' health/care needs. Pets too! Note: Rover reserves a portion of your payment. For this reason, my rates are set to reflect my ethical and professional value when caring for your pet at your home, in mine, or on a walk. Honesty and caring go together in ethics. I am bound to be a responsible person by nature and will call if needed to assure your loved one and home are secure.

“Leah was great! She came and checked on my kitty while I was out camping. Unfortunately I didn’t have service for most of my trip, but I appreciate getting all the updates and photos once I did! Thanks your your help!”

Oakdale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Danielle did an excellent job with the pups! She also communicated very well throughout the visit. Would highly recommend.

Lyndsy is very communicative and followed instructions for the drop-in. Would request her again. Our Kit is happy!

Kari is amazing. Our 1st lunch time visit for our 2 dogs validates her 5 stars everywhere she goes. Our little pup has never had a stranger visit to let her out and was extremely difficult was very challenging to gain trust to even approach or come outside. Kari's calmness & patience along with strategic "treat" luring had our pup lying next to her while Kari gave my other dog some fun toy throws.(pics provided). It made my day. Can't wait to have her over again. Thanks Kari!

Carley did drop in care for my two dogs and was fantastic. She connected and built trust with my shy dog and gave my super senior extra love and attention. She is very thoughtful and we had great communication. I would definitely ask Carley to help out again.
