About: Honest & trustworthy, dependable and loving care for your pet family members. Retired from a 22 year career in law enforcement, and spent the last several years dealing with my own senior pets and their healthcare needs (cancer, seizures, meds, etc), so I know the importance of having someone you can trust to care for your animals, whether they have special needs or not. I have a safe home with a 6’ fenced back yard, for potty breaks and playtime. I believe pets are part of the family! I am currently retired/not working, so I am flexible to meet your pet care needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, potty breaks, playtime, doggy day care & boarding. I have a 6’ fenced back yard, and don’t currently have any pets of my own. I am happy to adapt to whatever care your pets needs, and will try to do whatever you think would make them most comfortable. I require a meet and greet prior to boarding and doggy day care.

About: I am a reliable and responsible retired adult who loves dogs. I will care for yours as if they were my own whether it’s in our home or if you need drop in visits or walking. I prefer small dogs under 30 pounds. I am retired and will be there for your pet(s) whether it is to drop by your home, board in our home or just walk your dog(s). I love small dogs as they are our favorite. I prefer to book small dogs under 30 pounds. I have 2 Cavalier King Charles spaniels and a large home with a fenced backyard in a family neighborhood. I will walk your dogs and provide them with necessary potty breaks. My 2 dogs are friendly and get along with other dogs.

About: I have had my own dogs, cats, birds, fish, and gerbils. I treat them all with respect and love. I am very reliable and responsible. I currently have an open schedule, so can be flexible and we can discuss options as needed and work around what fits for everyone involved. I am able to board or day care a pet at my home, which has a large fenced yard. Also can do home visits or walks.

“Highly recommend Kos to care for your dog. For our dog to be away from us is a big deal and I don't worry about his state of care whatsoever.”

“David was great. He was warm and welcoming. I would use David again.”

“Mary was a wonderful caregiver for our dog! It was our first time using Rover and things couldn't have been better. Mary sent updates during the day, kept our pup entertained with walks, and gave him lots of TLC. We'd love to have Mary watch him again when we're in the Knoxville area.”

About: I am a registered nurse currently staying home to homeschool my boys. I love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust to care for your babies while you are away! I’d love to come do drop ins or watch your animals while you’re out of town and give you peace of mind that they’ll be well-cared for. I’ll happily provide you regular photos and updates if you wish. I’ve owned dogs, hamsters, and fish at various times through my life, but right now we have no animals of our own, so your pet will get my full attention! We do not have a fenced backyard, but can do frequent walks in our neighborhood and in our backyard. I have a comfortable crate that can be used for dogs who are crate trained at bedtime. I regularly dog-sit for my parents and in-laws while they are out of town and have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I am a homeschooling mama and will not have difficulty making time to care for your babies! I can happily accommodate drop ins, dog walks or other arrangements. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets while you are away! I will treat your babies as if they were my own and happily update you with photos if you would like while you’re gone.

“Very comfortable with Janet taking care of Sam.”

About: I love animals, of course! I grew up with 2 to 3 dogs in the home at all times and I now have my own two. I understand the need for last minute arrangements for your babies. I really enjoying directly helping my community while also giving my girls new friends :) I have a great time when dropping in for quick visits too, making sure to get out some energy before I head out again. BOARDING: When hosting your dogs, I want them to feel so comfortable and at home. In order for this, I need to be able to let them in the bed, on the couch, and under the blankets without them leaving a residue or a smell. I know dogs aren’t the cleanest but there is a point where if I cannot pet them without residue being left on my hands, I will bathe them myself and it will be added to your total at the end of boarding. I do NOT expect a freshly bathed dog, but I do expect to be able to tell that they regularly receive baths. If you have any questions about this at all please feel free to message me! I have no intentions of charging all willy-nilly, but I do need something in place to avoid excessively dirty animals being dropped off. I aim to keep my home comfortable, clean, and welcoming for all new pets :) I currently work part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your babies! As of right now I work from 10 am to 5 pm. I’m always refilling the water. I have well cleared areas for playing, as to help the pups avoid hitting anything. I have lots of toys, both inside and outside ones. And when it is warm or cool enough, I like to leave the back door open for them to come in and out as they please.

“Great place for my dog to spend the day, we will definitely utilize the services this family provides again. They treated us and our dog as family, very warm and welcoming atmosphere. And my dog loved it.”

“Lynnette did a great job caring for my puppy, August. She was accommodating with my changing schedule and he always seemed happy to see her.”

About: I have had Chihuahuas, med-poodle mix, and Maltese dogs, so I prefer small to medium size dogs. I am very careful with dogs, so I will make sure they are happy and safe. I am at home all day with my papillon-poodle mix, so I have extra time to care for your "baby". He or she can play in my fenced in back yard, and we can take walks around our very calm neighborhood. My dog is almost 1 yr old, so very friendly and playful. I have a fenced in back yard and covered patio, so if they prefer playing outside, there is a safe area. My home is mostly carpet. I have a large portable pen if needed for extra supervision. My neighborhood is great for taking walks.

About: Animals have been a part of my life since day one—I’ve always shared my home with pets (including tiny puppies and 3 week old kittens!), and caring for them quickly became second nature. I started pet sitting and dog walking at 16, and my passion has only grown since then. Over the years, I’ve done extensive research on dog and cat behavior, health, and training—not just to be a better sitter, but to be the best pet parent I can be. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I’m here to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and happy while you're away. I work part-time with two days off each week, and I have the flexibility to take breaks if needed. If I'm boarding your pet, no worries—I live just five minutes from my job and am happy to swing home for quick check-ins, potty breaks, or a fun little play session during the day. Your pet’s comfort and routine are always a top priority! I live in a pet-friendly apartment with three awesome roommates who also love animals, so your pet will get plenty of attention and company! It’s very rare that your pet will be left alone, and when I’m home, we’ve got access to a fenced-in dog yard right in the complex for safe playtime. I’m all about tailoring care to your pet’s vibe—whether that means frequent walks and play for energetic pups or cozy, lazy days for the more relaxed types. Your pet’s happiness come first!

“Shannon was just wonderful with our baby! This was Colbies first time with a sitter and you never would have guessed she had no problem making herself right at home.”

About: I am currently a dump truck driver and looking for some side work that I would enjoy! I love dogs/cats they are the best therapy lol. I have experience with big and small dogs and giving edible medication if needed. I used to volunteer for a rescue on adoption days in Chattanooga and helped rescue/foster some of the dogs. I would love to play with your dogs/Cats (if they like those kinds of things) taking them on walks in your neighborhood or if they like riding in the car to the park or even taking them to get a pup cup. I also want to help with anybody that needs help running errands or some little house clean up. I will bath your dog if needed! I’m available anytime after work or if it’s a rainy day I’m available if your dog needs checked on while your out of town or at work. I live in an apartment complex that is very grassy and have a cute dog park and lost of walking areas! I have a wonderful 1 year old spayed cat named maple!

“I was going on a 3-week vacation and couldn’t take my 9-year old dog Scout with me. I’d never left him with anyone before and was worried about how he would react. He’s a very sweet pup and likes to snuggle. Thank goodness I found Emily Horton. She texted me photos and let me know how Scout was doing. Not only was I able to enjoy my vacation worry-free, but I returned to a happy doggie. It’s so good to know if I ever have to leave Scout he has a caring friend to care for him. I highly recommend Emily!”

Channing F.Star Sitter
“Channing is my go to pet sitter! I've got a rambunctious black lab, Philly, who suffers from some anxiety being away from me, but in Channings care she is completely comfortable. Channing possesses so much love for her dogs and i know she gives the same love to Philly when she is in her care. Philly is a high energy dog that requires lots of attention. With the patience Channing poses she is able to create a safe, playful, and controlled environment for my sweet Philly to thrive in and remain well taken care of even when a case of the zoomies breaks out! Channing is a one of a kind, and has all my trust to take perfect care of my sweet pup. She always sends Philly home smiling and even bathed sometimes!”
