“I left my little guy (cat) home for two weeks, for the first time. Jen was communicative during each drop-in, sent pictures, reported his behavior (even when he tried to follow her home!) and made me feel comfortable that he was in good hands my whole vacation. She even brought in boxes that we delivered. I will most definitely ask Jen for her services in the future!!”

“Neena was the first person we’ve ever hired through Rover. She is professional, communicative, and most importantly, very caring for animals. From the pre-visit to the last day of our vacation, she made sure to make us feel as though our cats were in great hands. One of our cats has diabetes, and requires specific care instructions. Neena knew exactly what needed to be done and made sure to go above and beyond when looping us in about shot administrations and times. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trained caretaker for their pets. This will not be the last time we book her!”

“Kasey took great care of our cat, Mila and sent lots of pictures. She was very communicative as well. We will definitely think of her again if we need a pet sitter.”

“She was perfect. I was skeptical of letting someone in my house for a whole week, but Melanie did amazing. She takes REALLY good/fun pictures of your pets while you're away too! Would use again for sure”

“Gina was fabulous. If there was a twenty star category..she would get it..Our pets were in great hands and they appeared to adore her in the pictures she sent..thanks Gina..”

About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Between having shy dogs of my own and volunteering at the animal shelter, I give dogs space and allow them time to sniff and warm up to me before we go out. I’ll take your lead as to things I need to know about what makes your dog’s personality shine.

“Janine is great! She took good care of my pups and did everything I requested . She was an exceptional caretaker toward both of our pups. She is not only an exceptional caretaker but knowledgeable, reliable, efficient and devoted.”

“Excellent customer service. She took the best, most possible care of our cat, Creampuff. When we came home from vacation, the house looked wonderful and Creampuff was a happy kitty. We will not hesitate to use her again! She is the best!”

“Felt absolutely at ease with leaving my 3 cats in the care of Patty. She was kind, pleasant, and trustworthy. She obviously loved being with my cats and kept me informed daily. Refreshing to find someone so caring and dependable!”

About: I've spent two summers and multiple winter breaks working at an animal hospital gaining strong animal care experience. I am equipped to care for any age dog. I'm currently working part time Monday-Wednesday, I am able to visit during lunch on any of those days and from Thursday-Sunday I am able to care for your pets full-time and overnight if needed. I am a very compassionate and patient person, I will treat your pets with the upmost respect and care. Pets are family and I would treat them as such with love and kindness.

About: Hi! I’ve been a proud cat parent for over 5 years and have also cared for my roommate’s energetic dog—so I understand the different needs and personalities pets can have. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, or just a calm presence, I’m here to keep them happy and safe while you’re away! I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily adjust to your pet’s needs—whether it’s daytime visits, evening walks, or overnight stays including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays I follow the owner's instructions closely to keep things familiar and stress-free for the pet. I keep up with feeding schedules, walks, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure to leave the home just as I found it—clean and tidy.

About: In return for the love from a pet, I have been there for them in every step of their lives. I had a diabetic rescue cat who needed insulin shots. One of my dogs had cancer, so we spent his last year enjoying what was left of his life during treatments. I am retired. I have a part time job on Sundays and Mondays but have plenty of free time. I can work around your schedule. I have great patience and understanding, so I will take the time your pet needs to get exercise, treatment, care and attention according to your direction.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, including my own, and those belonging to family and friends. I am adaptive to the needs of each individual pet, no matter the age, health or disposition. I currently work part time, with a flexible schedule, so it is easy for me to accommodate others. I only require a little notice to be of service. My pets are my top priority. I have a fenced in yard, and room to separate animals if needed. I will care for them as I do my own.
