About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager because I love it so much. I have also trained more dogs than I can count. I will keep your pups safe and make sure they feel well loved in your absence! We will make them part of our family! We have recently lost our dog and would be grateful for the opportunity to love on yours. Please message me if you have any questions and have a great day! My current schedule is very fluid so I have time to work around your dog schedule & any needs they may have. My whole family will be so happy to have your dog with us or just visit or take walks & play. Finding someone not just reliable but who I felt comfortable leaving my dogs with was a huge struggle for me and now I’m happy to be that person for other people!! I have been a dog person my whole life & they are such special members of our families. Thanks for checking out my profile & I hope to meet you soon! Being reliable is important -knowing your pets are not just safe but well loved while you travel brings another level of peace of mind. I found that very hard to find for ours so just know I will care for them like they’re my own! I’d love for them to come be part of our family during your travels or stop in & take care of them in their own environment if that is what’s best for them-I will treat your home with the utmost respect. I can also stop in to play & potty while you’re at work to make sure they’re taken care of. Thanks!

“Ciara and her family were great with Stout, he seemed to make himself right at home when I dropped him off. I received updates frequently, and Stout even made new dog friends! I hope to book with her in the future!”

“Derrika was great. She took great care of our Charlie, was great with drop off and pickups, and excellent with providing updates and communication. What a blessing it is to have a safe loving home for our little guy when we’re away. Gives us great peace of mind that he’s well taken care of and loved.”

“Nicole & Gary were wonderful!!!! Our pets hadn't been boarded in several years and are now seniors. We wanted them to be boarded together. Nicole went out of her way to alleviate our pets anxiousness. She sent pics several times per day and kept us updated with anything out of the ordinary. I would recommend them highly, especially if you are unsure about leaving your animals. We will definitely book with them in the future if we need to.”

“This was my first time leaving Oakley with someone and I was really nervous. Erin gave tons of updates and put my mind at ease! Oakley loves going to see her now. I’ll only ever be booking with her in the future.”

About: Residing on a farm with open running space or enclosed electrical fencing for outside time, animals are sure to love their farm life experience. My husband and I have trained our own dogs to respond to basic commands: sit, shake, stay, come, and no. We have around 600 birds (chickens, guineas, ducks), 10 goats, and 2 Great Pyrenees girls (unaltered) that predominately reside outside. We also have 5 cats that are indoor outdoor and every other week our 16 and 10 y.o. boys are here to provide extra attention to animals visiting. We have also cared for animals at the end of life phase, moving at a slower pace and needing that extra assistance to get around. I currently work an 8 hour shift commuting to STL Monday-Friday. I work for the MO Army National Guard full-time, to include one weekend a month. My Husband’s full time job is taking care of the farm. He is predominately on farm, or not too far out if he is away. Caring for additional animals will fit like a glove into the animal schedule we currently operate on any given day. Caring for our own pets consist of daily feedings. There is always dry food out for all animals. The dogs and cats get wet food once a day, typically in the evening. The cats get attention when they want it. The dogs get released out of the fence a couple times a week to run the land under human supervision. They will also be let inside for short periods of time as we work on training them with inside manners, not to mention, one of the girls is terrified of thunder storms. Our animals are pampered with treats, attention, and full on conversations. They are more than animals around here, they’re family!

“Was able to take Caduceus in with relatively short notice. Jadyn sent plenty of pictures and was great with communication. Caduceus seemed to have a great time, and I will definitely consider going with Jadyn the next time my dog needs boarded!”

About: I run a 24/7 animal hospital and have 2 senior dogs of my own. This service provided me top notch care for my dogs when I needed it and now I would like to do the same for other owners. I've had dogs my whole life and got into veterinary medicine due to my love of helping people and their pets when they need it most. I work remotely from home most days and can be flexible with your needs. Even in the event I must go into my hospital your animals are absolutely welcome to come with me and hang out with my team of Veterinarians and Vet techs. I have a fully fenced yard for my 2 senior dogs that get along with everyone. If you have dog reactive pets I have a plenty of space in my home to keep them separated and safe.

“I’ve never left my 11 year old yorkie with anyone who wasn’t family or a roommate, so I was super nervous about his stress level. Jacey was out of town for most of his stay but Garrett really accommodated my dog and made him feel super at ease. Garrett was super communicative and sent some of the funniest pictures of my dog I’ve ever seen. He had a blast, 100% would recommend!”

“Second great stay for my two dogs with Billie. Not sure they wanted to come home ;) Billie always keeps me up to date on how they're doing. Her notes and pictures are a pleasure to receive. Will book again with no hesitation.”

“Shannon is awesome. She took great care of my older goldendoodle, and he was able to use her doggie door which was a huge plus. She walked him every morning and sent regular updates. I hope to use her next time I’m out of town if she’s available.”

About: I have been working with animals since I was a child in 4H. I am good with animals of all kinds. I have worked in a variety of fields since I was a teen. I have been in a vets office, Shift lead of a boarding facility, Animal control, and I have trained dogs and service dogs for years. I care about the animal connection and making sure animals are well cared for. They I only work part time 3-5 hours 3 days a week. The rest of the time I am either training my dogs or spending time with my kids. I’m passionate about working with animals and my life primarily circles around my animals. I believe in making sure animals get the care they deserve and having fun enjoyable time. I want to see dogs light up when they see me. I love spending the evening relaxing lets the dogs play and reading a book or playing a video game. I enjoy hikes in our field and teaching swimming in our pool for dogs weather permitting. I believe in doing an intake of can on arrival and documentation on food and outtings so I can monitor what is happening with the dogs.

“I would give 10 Stars if I could...!! Alan was phenomenal watching Lucy for two days....especially on short notice for a family emergency out-of-state! Lucy made two new friends with June and Jax, too. (Lovely dogs!) Lots of exercise, play time, photos, videos, and updates on how she was doing. He also helped gently alleviate her anxiety with the thunderstorms and fireworks. His professional attention to detail with respect to understanding Lucy's unique needs was totally spot-on. Alan is definitely a "dog guy" ...which is *exactly* what I was looking for. I have full confidence in Alan, and 100% recommend him to everyone looking for puppy sitter. We will absolutely use his services again for Lucy! Thank you, Alan. We are beyond grateful for your help.”

“We were happy to have found Shawn. He made sure that we and our dog were comfortable before the stay. He was proactive in asking about our preferences to take care of our dog, as well as her likes/dislikes. Throughout the stay he provided updates, was responsive, and was flexible for drop off and pickup. Our dog was at ease with him when she hasn’t been with other caretakers. We would happily choose him again.”

Oak Grove pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kim was awesome! My boys stayed for 3 nights and she made sure to send pics and updates throughout. She also has a bit of acreage and made sure to spray my boys with a non-toxic flea and tick spray and check them for ticks before I picked them up. Kim was so laid back and her house was right off the highway for an easy drop off and pick up. I highly recommend Kim!
