She will take her to our backyard where Athena feels safest. Or she will walk the other direction to keep her away from those triggers. I know that she is well cared for when I can't do it myself and she's happy when I come home.”

“Emi was so wonderful! I requested she help care for my sweet doggy dude, Hei Hei, multiple times over a holiday weekend. She went above and beyond that. Hei Hei is deaf and reactive. Emi learned the hand signals used to communicate with Hei Hei and asked about his triggers. She sent updates and adorable pictures of my sweet boy on every walk. Emi showed great care for Hei Hei and when he wasn't eating much over the weekend she offered him a healthy (approved) alternative so he wouldn't be hungry. Hei Hei and I are very grateful for her caring for him!”

About: I am a research technician at Atrium Health who is new to the area, and I would love to take care of your dog! I have 15+ years of experience and lots of love to give. Growing up with dogs my whole life, my new place feels empty without a furry friend. I hope to make many memories in my new city with your pup 🐶 I will monitor your dog 24/7 when we’re outside, and always make sure they are on a leash. I don’t require a crate, but can use one upon your request. I have a dog-proofed home with no other animals or kids. I have experience with senior dogs. I am available for boarding all day. I often work from home, but even if I do go in to work, I live very close to my office and will stop home frequently to take your dog out, go on walks, and play. I do not have any other pets in my house. I keep my space tidy and organized. I have an open yard and the perfect neighborhood for walks.

About: I’ve been around all types of dogs since I was young . I am a Groomer at Kibble Pet The Hill ! I’ve worked in dog daycares and dog salons before this and I genuinely enjoy being around animals! They’re my safe space and i’ll care for them with all my heart . Im usually available at most times, can even bring ur doggos to work with me if needed ! I understand some dogs are trained to go out and be active at certain times . Dogs I board get walks in the am and pm, also some play time at our dog park! I make sure there are no other dogs there for safety precautions ! About: I was raised in a family where we always had animals, and had a parent in the veterinary field, so I picked up a few things along the way! I love my creatures, and understand how important they are to you. I have the sweetest labrador, a little calico kitty, a bearded dragon, crested gecko, and a betta fish w/ some neocardinia shrimp! I pride myself on approaching pet care with a thourough, thoughtful attitude that keeps your animals as comfortable as possible. I am currently a full-time student, so I have classes in the Fall and Spring. My schedule is not confirmed yet, but I will be free most early mornings and evenings. I will share my schedule immediately once it is confirmed. As of this summer, I am working a part-time internship usually from 10-5, but I have very flexible hours and can do drop-ins between most hours. I listen very carefully to specific isntructions regarding homes and critter-care, and will double and triple check with instructions or owners before doing anything. I am more than happy to allow free-roam around the house/yard if welcome, and if not, crating, restraining, and leash walking are all things I'm super familiar with (raised a labrador puppy, so naturally I faced those same challenges)!
