I work from home and so I have a lot of flexibility on weekdays for drop-ins and/or walks. About: I grew up with dogs and have experience giving oral medication, injections (insulin) & IVs under the skin. My Layla passed away in 2017 from encephalitis and she had to get IVs every day on top of other things. We got Bruce in 2018 & Rocky in 2019. They are two peas in a pod..I call them Batman & Robin. They are great with other dogs as my husband and I have had many different breeds and sizes at our home. If your fur baby gets dirty playing in the yard, we will give the a bath (with your permission of course). They will go on daily walks, have a lot of play time since I work from home and I will make sure to send you photos and updates throughout their stay. Communication is extremely important to me. We look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! I am a real estate professional and run a team here in the Triad. I work from home and have the time to care for your fur baby as a majority of my work is from my computer. Rocky and Bruce love having new playmates over as well and we have a large yard for them to run around in 😊 We have a large fenced-in back yard and a deck for them to lounge on. I never let other people’s dogs stay outside unsupervised. If they are outside, I am outside. It’s an extra step of care that is super important to me because sometimes, animals can be unpredictable, see a squirrel or a rabbit and jump the fence etc. We ensure your fur baby is safe.
About: Hi, I’m Matthew! I grew up in a home with two dogs. I remember first letting Piper out when I was 8 years old and she just HAD to pee at 3am. It is great to meet you, and I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! I work remotely full time, so I am mostly available prior to 10am, at lunchtime, and after 4pm during the week. I am also available most weekends! I follow your instructions to treat each pet uniquely, as if you were doing it yourself! My hope is that your pet and I can develop a friendship built on trust, treats, and walks! I will use your leash, and your food. I will bring my own poop bags and ALWAYS bring extra.

I understand how important routine, patience, and gentle attention are to keeping cats happy and comfortable. About: Hi! I’m Jennifer, a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of my 5-year-old pup, Scooby. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I truly believe pets are family and deserve love, patience, and attention just like any other family member. I also had the privilege of caring for another dog for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away from cancer, which gave me experience with dogs through all stages of life and taught me how important compassionate care is. I’m currently a teacher assistant so during the Holidays, weekends and out of school for the summer I’ll be available any time. So I can make sure I give lots of love and attention to your love ones. I live in a safe, pet-friendly apartment complex with two gentle young children under 7 who have grown up around dogs and love animals. Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, caring environment where they’ll receive plenty of affection, playtime, and attention while you’re away. Whether your dog loves cuddles, walks, playtime, or simply relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and treated like part of the family.
About: Hello! My name is Jenna. I am a 26 year old graduate student at Wake Forest and a registered nurse. I have a 4 year old Newfoundland-Bernese Mountain Dog mix named Phoebe who I love more than anything, and she is very friendly with other animals and other people. She would love more company! I know I want the best care possible for her when I am not able to do so. I want to be there for your pets when they deserve genuine care in the absence of you. Most importantly, I want YOU to be comfortable with who you choose to leave caring for your pets, because they are truly a part of your family. I have taught Phoebe tricks, I run with her, I brush and bathe her daily, feed and water her daily, and walk her every day for about an hour by the trail next to my house. I take great caution to assure the animals under my care are happy and healthy. I am very sociable, outgoing, and organized. My availability is very flexible throughout the day :) I won’t be away for longer than 4-6 hours at a time if I need to go to school in person for certain things, run errands, or study :) I will follow your lead in how you would like me to care for your dog and understand their schedule as best I can so they can still feel like they are in a routine! We will walk, play, and spend time together all day long.
“Andrea kept my four month old pittie puppy for the day and took very good care of her! My baby nervous and not well socialized as she is still so young, but Andrea was very welcoming and put both my puppy and myself right at ease. I was very happy to receive lots of updates and pictures throughout the day also. Will definitely be a repeat client!”

About: I’ve always grown up with animals in the home, a home isn’t a home unless you here the pitter patter of those paws of the floor. Dogs are at the heart of my being and unfortunately you can only have so many. But the best way I’ve found to experience the love of all kind of dogs are through the caring for of everyone else’s four legged friend. I’ve always watched and cared for others animals off and on as a side income and personal enjoyment; giving all the love and attention they need while their human is away. All the way back when I was in high school, many years ago, I discovered the love and care for others dogs when I worked for the groomers and it’s never stopped since. My sweet Winter departed in 2020 after 13 long and steady years by my side and while I haven’t yet been ready to give my full heart away I’ve found great healing, giving lots of love, walks, baths, ball games, and lots of snuggs, All welcomed with love. After 10 years working in the field of Art Education and Public Art Coordination I decided to take the leap and start my business, Swift & Dapper LLC. Life is never one size fit all and too short to accept anything less that extraordinary whether that’s personal style or grooming, spacial reconfiguration or custom built carpentry, curated interiors or stunning professional services you have specific needs and you deserve nothing less than what you need and then some. S&D is happy to offer paw-fessional pet services. With a home based operations that leaves plenty of time for swing by visits or stay-cations for your special friend. They’ll have all the attention they need and anything else to ensure a happy and paw-sitive care. Our four legged friends should always be at home and feel comfortable. Fresh running water, soft comfy rugs and beds, and lots of fluffy blankets for those that like to snuggle up on the sofa for a movie. Our backyard is large and fenced in, ready for fetch and play time. We are used to having little furry ones (especially our neighbor’s little ones) wandering around and keep it in the front of mind always. Instructions for specific care are much appreciated and followed to the ledger.

About: I’ve spent over 10 years caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve owned four dogs, including my English Mastiff, Moose, and have experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need medication or extra support. I’ve also helped family and friends with dog-sitting for years, giving me hands-on experience with large breeds and dogs who thrive on structured routines. Whether your pet needs exercise, engagement, or companionship, I’m ready for the job! I’m currently a PhD student at Wake Forest University, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time for your pets. I work in downtown Winston-Salem and am typically free after 3 pm on weekdays and available on weekends, late nights, and for drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m able to step away from my responsibilities to ensure your pets receive consistent attention and care. I always follow your instructions and respect your home and your pet’s routines. I focus on creating a calm, positive environment, whether that means adhering to feeding schedules, administering medication, or keeping your pet engaged through walks and play. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and well cared for.
About: Hi, I’m Ashton… full-time teacher/extra full-time animal enthusiast, and your pet’s soon-to-be favorite human (other than you, of course)! I’ve been pet sitting on Rover since 2021, but I’ve been the go-to “Can you watch my dog/cat/goat?” friend for over a decade. I’ve cared for everything from purse-sized pups to dogs the size of small horses, plus cats, guinea pigs, and yes… actual goats. When I’m not shaping young minds in the classroom, I’m happily spoiling pets like they’re my own — walks, snuggles, playtime, belly rubs, and enough photo updates to make your camera roll jealous. Pet sitting is a family affair for me: my husband occasionally joins in, and my 13-year-old daughter (aka the animal whisperer) is my secret weapon for winning over even the shyest pets. Please note if you do not prefer that I include my family during visits, that is not a problem and individual care will be arranged! The goal is to make you and most importantly your pet(s) feel safe and comfortable! If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about animals — with a little humor sprinkled in — I’d love to make sure your furry (or feathered, or hooved) family member feels safe, loved, and downright pampered while you’re away. Because I’m a full-time teacher, my schedule is a little unique, but I make it work in a way that keeps your pets happy and cared for without feeling rushed. • Weekends: This is when my calendar is the most open! I’m available most Saturdays and Sundays for drop-in visits throughout the day — morning, afternoon, and evening. • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): My time is more limited due to my teaching schedule. I’m available early in the morning before work and again in the late afternoon/evening after school. To make sure I can be on time and give your pets the attention they deserve, I can only accept weekday visits for clients who are in close proximity to me. Because of my schedule, I currently only offer drop-in visits — no overnights or extended stays. This way, I can give your pets the focused care they need without overcommitting. Drop-ins are perfect for feeding, potty breaks, walks, litter box care, playtime, and plenty of love while you’re away. Even with my teaching career, pet care is a big part of my life. I take it seriously (while still having fun with your pets), and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved until you get home. When you share instructions for your pet’s care, I follow them closely — after all, you know your pet best. I provide detailed updates after each visit (with plenty of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m happy to walk your pet around the yard or through the neighborhood, provide playtime if that’s what they enjoy, and crate them in the morning or at night if that’s part of their routine. My goal is simple: give you complete peace of mind while providing your pet with the same level of love, attention, and care they get from you.
“We love Aundrea! She is not only courteous, professional, and prompt, but she goes above and beyond. Her sweet notes following a walk and pictures go a long way. I know she loves our pup and I cannot recommend her enough. We have full trust in her! I would rate her 15/5 stars if I could.”

She is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors and I feel so comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Duncan said he cannot wait to go see her again! 😂. Thank you so much, Morgan!!! 🥰”

“Amanda was amazing! We needed to book a sitter last minute and over 4th of July weekend at that and she was so accommodating. Not only was she great at communicating and sending updates, you could tell how happy our pup was during his stay from all the pictures! Will 100% rebook if we travel to Salem again, we had a great experience!”

“It’s an awesome feeling to meet someone who you know will take great care of your dog while you are away. I can tell Dorothy Rose really enjoyed her stay. I’ve already booked Dorothy’s next stay with Nelcy.”

“Erica took wonderful care of Cesar. He looked so happy in all his pictures. I would highly recommend her to care for your pet. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Xariyah blew me away!!! I was so nervous about leaving my baby because I just moved here and he's used to only my family watching him, but I had no other option than to find him a sitter. Xariyah will be his family from now on though because we will definitely be a regular! She treated my baby as if he was her own and he had such an amazing time with her and her kitty. She sent me constant updates and pictures and reassured me after he had a rough first day with anxiety away from me and he was back to his normal self by the next day. I'm beyond happy that I chose her and will definitely be using her again! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much Xariyah!”

“I’m so glad I found Angela and her family. They were all amazing and took such good care of Mac while I was gone. He came home and slept all day. He was exhausted from all the attention and fun. I also got updates throughout the weekend. As an anxious dog parent, those helped out so much! I’ll definitely use Angela again in the future.”
“Andrea was amazing with our fur baby!!! She kept us updated with pictures and messages the entire time. He was in great spirits when we picked Jax up and looked like he had a wonderful time. No issues what so ever! HIGHLY recommend Andrea for your babies needs!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Rambo! She took amazing care of him over the weekend and made the whole experience completely stress free. She kept me updated with pictures/ videos throughout his stay, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed how happy and well cared for he was. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Rambo and treated him like one of her own. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy!😊”

“Talia and Austin are the kindest people around and our dog is so well taken care of. Our dog has so much fun while she is at their house and returns exhausted which is all that we can ask for!”

“If I could give a 10 outta 5 I would. I literally just rescued Daisy, my 1lb chihuahua, and already had planned a trip home to Ohio. I'm in NC for work, and my closest friend is 3 hours away. I was petrified to leave this new scared baby with a stranger.. We met Amanda and INSTANTLY LOVED HER! I got pics and videos of my sweet tiny tot, and Amanda's dogs were PERFECT FUN AND GENTLE. I will not look for anyone else while I'm here to watch Daisy unless it's am emergency or Amanda is busy..”
