About: I have always had a passion for animals and a love for helping people! With lots of experience with several types of animals and a love for learning, over the past three years my knowledge on dogs has grown tremendously! Animals are a passion of mine! You can usually find me working part time with animals at my job or working around my homestead, I enjoy daily walks as well! I have a high level of experience with dog walking on leash and watching dogs body language to stay one step ahead of them! Ensuring your dog will always be attended too. I also have crates available if needed or if your pup is more comfortable that way!

I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was in high school. I deeply enjoy walking dogs, taking care of cats, and ensuring that each animal has what they need to succeed and thrive. I am a college student with mostly morning classes. I am available for walks and drop-ins in the greater Rochester area around Henrietta, extending south to Geneseo and Lakeville. Care for pets in homes involves putting the pet and pet owners' needs first, and balancing environmental, dog, and personal needs well. I ensure this by clear communication with owners, responsibility for myself and for the care and well-being of your pets, and setting clear expectations (and treats!) with pets.

About: From the first moments I could remember, I have always been around and caring for dogs and cats. I'm also a professional equine bodyworker, with medical experience that is easily translated over to our smaller, 4-legged friends. I take a gentle and intuitive approach with animals, focusing on positive reinforcement. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. If staying at your home, I will never be gone for more than 8 hrs at a time. Weekends are usually no issue to schedule around either While staying at your home, I stick to the routine you have developed with your pets to make it as stress-free as possible. I recognize the importance of structure with dogs and cats, and losing that while their humans are away can be a big stressor. I will do my best to act as an extension of you while you are away to ensure the most personalized care.

About: I've been around animals my entire life. I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel growing up that I helped care for. After I became older I have owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I also foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. I work a few hours a day from home so I have plenty of time to interact and take care of your pets & fur babies. I'm available most days and nights. I am self-employed and work from home so I can take care of your pets needs at any time of the day since my schedule is flexible. I personally have 2 dogs, a rabbit, chickens and ducks at my home so there are plenty of things to help keep your pets occupied and happy. I also foster small animals for a rescue I help out with. My yard is unfenced, but I live on a quiet street and have an open area across from my home to play fetch or throw a frisbee with your dogs and mine. In regards to caring for pets in your own home I follow any directions you give me for food/treat schedules, how often they need to go outside, things your pets can and cannot do, etc.

About: Always had pets (cats, dogs, rodents) growing up, one year of horse barn experience and dog training apprenticehood at Summit K9 in Rochester NY! My dog training consisted of... - consistent feedback from two licensed trainers - leash walking skills - reactivity reduction (barking at other dogs, the door, people) - managing doggy daycare including half a day of one on one training and half a day of social groups - creating groups, managing consistent training across multiple employees - assessing the training and social level of any particular dog - crating skills - taking crate sensitive/aggressive dogs in and out of crates - walking people sensitive/stranger aggressive dogs - teaching cue recognition (place, sit, down, yes, no) - caring for boarding dog's needs - walking multiple dogs at once, training dogs to walk together With cats I am comfortable and knowledgeable about... - providing appropriate play - basic training using food incentive and luring - picking up a cat appropriately by supporting the spine and reducing tension on the scruff - responding to stomach issues and puke - reading body language for anxiety and aggression With horses I am familiar and comfortable with all daily care including stable cleaning and fetching skiddish horses from pasture. As for my pets.. My first cat was a stray found at 4 weeks that I learned how to teach to groom and care for himself. I also know how to manage ear mites, or any other kind of skin or tick care. Our dog was a breeder who also has needed a lot of specialized care. I am most experienced with rodents (have owned over 8 rats, 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit)! I've never personally owned a bird or a lizard, but have cared for friends and I always commit to accurate research. If you have any questions or worries regarding my experience and competency I would love to hear from you! I am very available right now, and I intend to make pet care my biggest priority. I am happy to discuss all kinds of scheduling. I love going above and beyond for my pets. Our cats are indoor and outdoor but I am always checking on them and keep a consistent feeding schedule to prevent overeating (they have sensitive stomachs). Our dog is also very needy, as she has some anxiety from her last owner so she needs to always be accompanied while outside and will not do certain things alone. I keep my rats in my room where they get frequent engagement with the whole family, and I enjoy making homemade puzzles and toys for them. Overall, all of our animals live active, healthy lives!

About: I’ve owned multiple different types of pet from dogs and cats to rodents, reptiles, amphibians and fish. I have worked at a pet store so I have lots of knowledge on different types of animals and the care they need. I’m currently working part-time. Depends on my work schedule for the week, but I’m also a stay at home mom of a 6 month old. I understand how much people’s pets mean to them being a pet owner myself, therefore keeping your fur babies safe is my number 1 priority. If you give certain instructions for taking care of your pet, those instructions will be followed accurately.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since 2016. I have worked in the veterinary field since 2021. I have worked as a receptionist and as a boarding team member at a business that took care of special needs and therapy dogs. I am certified to do therapy exercises with pets. My past dog was special needs for the last 3 years of his life. My current dog is dog-selective. I am comfortable with animals who need more accommodations behaviorally. I am comfortable medicating dogs and cats. I have pet sat for friends and family since 2019. I do work full time, but when ever I am not at work and I am able to take care of more animals! As long as our schedules match I can care for your pet I will not be able to care for pets in my home. But in your home I can follow and rules, procedures, or schedules to the best of my ability. I am comfortable crating, medicating, and using other tools to assist in the care or walking of your pet

About: I have experience walking, playing and taking care of our 15 year old black lab Jake! He sadly passed away. He lived a long happy life! I'm very active and have lots of energy! My kids do as well! We love animals! We will treat your pet/s as part of our family! Treats will be provided and clean drinking water! Your pets will be given plenty of attention in my care. I enjoy long walks so you can be assured your dog/puppy will get plenty of exercise! I'm willing to help potty train if training mats/pads are provided! I'm not currently available for boarding or doggy day care😢 Just walks, visits, and home stays! ☺️ I can easily crate your pet/s if you prefer, just need you to provide the crate or gates. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was little. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they are away. Over the summer I will be working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your dog! I’m available most weekdays in the mornings and evenings, and weekends on request. About: Taken care of dogs for my entire life, adore and cherish them. Have helped all friends and family when their in need of a sitter! Currently working part time. About: I've worked with pets of every shape and size and I've owned a dog or cat for the majority of my life. Juno, my last dog, I cared for so much that I brought him from Australia back to America when I moved back home after studying abroad. I've owned virtually every type of pet from hamster to lizard over my life and I know how to react to difficult situations. I've even saved Juno's life on more than one occassion (Australia has poisonous blowfish) so I have a wide range of experience. I work another part time job which I have time to fit my love of pet care in between during most days given my flexible schedule. I will ensure the environment is perfectly secure and safe for the pet with no possible exits for them to escape. I would make sure they're within my sight 100% of the time and be sure to give them as much attention as they want.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I can take care of cats or dogs and will love them like they are my own! Animals are my passion in life and I love to spend my free time taking care of them. I work Monday-Thursday but am available after 5:00PM on those days and any time Fridays and Saturdays. I currently have two cats of my own who I love to spend my time with as well. I am experienced in safely harnessing, walking and crating dogs. I also have owned animals my whole life and am aware of their boundaries and the fact that all animals are different.
