“Thank you Lamar. Doobie has been bored since everything that has happened lately and really needed some good exercise. She came back happy and a tired. Thank you for taking such good care of her again!”

About: I started caring professionally for animals when I was just 16 years old. In the veterinary facilities over the years, I worked my way up from kennel attendant, to customer service representative, to customer service supervisor, to customer service manager, to reproduction veterinary assistant. Over these years I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages. During my time as a reproduction veterinary assistant, I found a passion for breeding/deliveries/neonatal puppy care etc. I took this passion and started caring for other people’s pregnant momma dogs within my home. I delivered the puppies, and raised them for infinite weeks until said breeders found their forever families. I raised, cared for, and trained over 150 puppies within my home during the last 4 years. I established long lasting relationships with not only the momma dogs families, but also the families of many of the puppies I was blessed to raise here. Many of which now come to me to watch and care for their dogs/puppies while on vacation, busy day at work, or maybe need a bath/blowdry/brushout/nail trim etc. when needed. I wanted to open up my home and extend my love and animal care for anyone else who may need my service. I am home all day most days. Now that my kids are grown and come and go on their own, I have ability to care for others pets and fully accommodate any needs they may have. When pets are in my home, they can roam freely within designated areas, sleep in beds with us like they are family, or be crated off and on if preferred by their families. We have a fenced yard for outside playtime and a designated turf area for dogs to do their business.
About: What sets me apart is the trust I've built with my clients. Many are repeat clients who feel comfortable leaving their pets in my care, even for vacations lasting over a month long. I'm reliable, highly responsive, and believe communication is key. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages while following your pet's routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. From tiny cats to large dogs, I treat every animal as if they were my own and every home with the utmost respect, so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day rather than just quick check-ins. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of consistency and sticking to your pet's normal routine. I always strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine. During overnight stays, I provide full care including feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and any medications or special instructions if needed.
“Highly recommend! Took care of our 3 dogs while we were away and very tentative to instructions. Communicated perfectly if we needed adjustments and our dogs were so excited to walk with her when she arrived at our house. Will definitely use her again in the future! Thank you Keiona!”

“Jill came through with a last minute request… she not only walked our pup but also made sure he was fed, hydrated, and was mindful to keep the walk in the cool shade due to the afternoon heat! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter/walker.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. Years ago, when I lived in Long Beach, CA, I worked with Tidy Dogs fostering pups until they found their forever homes. I also volunteered at places like Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, spending as much time as I could helping dogs in need. Those experiences showed me just how much joy it brings me to be surrounded by dogs and to make a difference in their lives. The idea to start boarding dogs came years later, after I had a bad experience boarding my own pups in Las Vegas. That inspired me to create a place where dogs could feel safe, cared for, and truly at home while their families are away. My home is clean, dog-friendly, and secure. I use plenty of Sunbrella patio cushions because they’re easy to clean, don’t collect fur, and the dogs love them! I also cook for my two dogs — a Frenchie and a Jack Russell — who love to help welcome and train our four-legged guests. When your dogs stay with me, I want them to feel like they’re on vacation too. Together, we go on fun adventures — bike rides, walks, games of fetch, swimming, and even cozy movie nights. Browse through my photos to see some of the wonderful dogs who have blessed my life with their companionship. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to meet you and your pups! I'm a early riser so walks in the morning and my spouse does evening walks. My retired mom lives with me and we are a 3 person team. We all care for the dogs. I have a fenced yard and can crate if needed. I'd rather they be free but if crate train is a request I can do that. Brushes, walks and playtime. Clean house and waters routinely changed. New dishes every time dog is fed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
