“Doobie has a great time with Lamar! She is getting older, and a bit slower, but she still looks forward to her walks with Lamar! After a couple years or more of walking with him, she loves him like family.”

“I had such a great experience with Wendy! She was incredibly punctual and reliable, which gave me peace of mind from the start. She kept me fully updated with photos and videos, and it was so comforting to see how happy and relaxed my dogs were with her. She has such a gentle, calming presence, and my dogs warmed up to her almost immediately which says a lot, because they can be shy with new people. She was also very communicative and making sure I always knew how the walk went. I’m so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and kind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog walker!”

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals. With years of pet ownership, I’ve honed my skills in training and caring for my own dogs. Though I lack formal professional experience, my journey truly began in 2019 when I welcomed my German Shepherd. I was committed to his training and enrolled him in boot camp, followed by ongoing socialization efforts. Additionally, I've cared for my own pets and stray cats, ensuring their well-being. My experience makes me a reliable and nurturing pet sitter, dedicated to the happiness and safety of your pets. I'm currently a student, with my semester concluding for the spring and resuming in the fall. Until then, I am available with flexible hours and can easily accommodate your scheduling needs. During May through summer, my availability will increase, allowing for even more flexibility. I'm here to ensure your pets receive the care they deserve at times that work best for you! I believe that every pet deserves personalized care and attention. My approach includes understanding the unique needs of each animal, whether it's a specific diet, exercise routine, or special medical considerations. I prioritize creating a safe and loving environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure. My experience with my own pets and local strays has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and playtime in building trust. I aim to provide not just basic care, but a nurturing experience that keeps them happy and healthy.

About: Of all animals I have the most experience with dogs. I love dogs all shapes and sizes We've always had a dog at home and I have lots of experience, caring for playing with and walking dogs, including bath time. I'm a recent graduate of heritage high school. I took agriculture at school and worked with the animals on our school farm I'm looking to do rover as often as possible. I don't have any other obligations at this time. So I can dedicate myself to your pets. I am very careful about fences and doors. I'm mindful of owner instructions regarding where their pets can be. And where they are not allowed. I am mindful of them while they are eaten. And while they are playing, to make sure that they remain safe. I checked the pavement before I take a dog out on walks to make sure it's not too hot and always make sure to wash their bowls so that I can help prevent bacteria

About: I’m an experienced, intuitive dog caregiver who blends calm confidence with playful, genuine affection. I’ve worked with pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m especially skilled at reading body language, easing anxiety, and building trust with shy or energetic dogs. My hospitality background shows up in the way I communicate clearly, stay organized, and anticipate both the dog’s needs and the owner’s peace of mind. Whether it’s maintaining routines, handling medication, managing multi‑dog households, or keeping high‑energy pups happily engaged, I bring steady reliability and a warm, joyful presence that dogs connect with right away. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work part‑time on weekends and I’m on summer break from school. I have plenty of open time during the week for walks, drop‑ins, and longer visits, and I balance my weekend job with consistent pet‑care hours. This flexibility lets me give each pet focused, reliable attention and maintain steady routines for kittens, senior cats, pregnant cats, and dogs alike. I provide a calm, stress‑free environment for every pet I care for. In my home, I offer a quiet space with no children, a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and a relaxed atmosphere where pets can settle in comfortably. Whether I’m hosting or visiting, I focus on safety, consistency, and creating a peaceful experience for each pet.

I can easily separate animals if needed. Whether in your home or mine, I follow all care instructions carefully, keep things clean, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and deeply cared for with gentle, one on one attention. - The reason I'm providing low prices is because I'm new to Rover and I'd like to keep quality pet care within reach of as many families as possible while I build up my profile and nice reviews. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
