“Cindy is fantastic. Our dog spent a few workdays while one of us was traveling, and he clearly felt comfortable and happy while at the same time Cindy provided a structured, calm, and enriching environment for him. He got walks and puzzles and even another dog friend to play with on occasion. Cindy was very patient, attentive, and kind. She has an excellent confident demeanor and establishes boundaries effectively and naturally with the pups. I would recommend Cindy in a heartbeat.”
“Definitely would recommend!!! My Daisy is very attached to me and has never been in someone else's care. The 2nd day when she got out of car she ran up to the door and couldn’t wait to dart in not even looking back at me. I got several updates & photos throughout the day. Will be booking with Christian & Hana again!”

“Really awesome experience with them! My 9 month old dog has done both daycare and overnight boarding. My pup always has so much fun and comes back exhausted. They are super kind and genuinely care about the well being of your dog. Great communicators and just overall so grateful I found folks I can trust with my baby.”

“Katherine was absolutely amazing! So responsive and was able to take Mookie on short notice. She sent so many pics + he had the best time 🐶 her property is amazing and you can truly tell she loves these pups!”

“Nicole & Rose V. was absolutely wonderful with my dog! They were attentive, reliable, and made sure my pup was well cared for the entire time. My dog came home happy and relaxed. I could tell he received lots of love and attention. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring sitter!”

“Natalie was great! She was very understanding of my dogs special needs and was not only kind and communicative, but also listened carefully and was able to follow instructions well! I got my dobby home without him feeling stressed out, which is saying something! Would highly recommend Natalie!”

“Jenifer is awesome and her house is perfect for daycare with a big shaded yard and garden for the pups to run around in. She sent lots of pictures of my girl while she was there, which was great!”

About: I'm from Costa Rica, but I've been in AZ for 10 years now. I've had dogs pretty much my whole life. Now I live in Tempe near the mall, and there's a park right by my apartment. My job's flexible, so I can give whatever care is needed. I love all breeds. I work from home for Bank of America, so I get off around 3 or 4, depending on daylight savings. I've got a play area in the living room with pee pads and toys for the pets, and I'll make sure to walk them when it's cooler in the morning and evening. About: I'm 57 years old and have loved and cared for animals since I was a kid. Dogs and cats have always been a big part of my life. Over the decades, I've raised and trained my own dogs, completed extensive dog training classes and gained hands-on experience understanding behavior, consistency and positive reinforcement. Friends have trusted me with their pets while they travel and I've welcomed them into my home where they quickly become family. As a former AZ Humane Society volunteer, I had the privilege of working closely with dogs, cats, rabbits and even fancy rats (ask me about them when we meet!). At the time, I was one of only a few volunteers permitted to work in more than one area of expertise. That experience deepened my appreciation for each animal's unique personality and needs. I'm grateful for that experience and for the wonderful people I was fortunate to meet. I've had a blessed career but made the decision to fully "retire" in January of 2026 giving me the flexibility and availability to provide focused, attentive care. Whether it's a fun neighborhood walk, playtime, feeding routines, or simply offering companionship while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Currently, my husband, Frank, and I don't have pets of our own as we plan to travel when he retires, sometime between Dec. of 2026 and June of 2027. We miss having pets around! So, we decided we'd become Rover pet sitters to get the opportunity to love on your pets and provide them comfort and companionship while you're away. I have an enormous heart for animals. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness will always come first with me. It would be my honor and privilege to serve you and care for your pet(s). I'm currently retired and my only obligation is a volunteer shift that I pull off every Tuesday for just a few hours - normally from about 10:00 am until Noon or 1:00. I occasionally have appointments outside of the home or I may embark on a motorcycle ride a time or 2 a month or have lunch with friends but I'm often at home. I'm physically active - I walk, hike and do weight training so any size animal, big or small is of no concern. Your pet and I will be great pals! My home is ideal for overnight stays because I don't have pets of my own right now. When pets are inside our home, they are part of the family. They're inside when we're inside - watching TV, sleeping, eating dinner, or throwing the ball across the living room, and they have plenty of room to roam outside in the back yard when they want to stretch their legs. We have a large, fully fenced in yard (block wall) with a grassy area on which they can stretch out and sun bathe. We also have a doggie door they can use if they're trained to do so!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ntna-College
Tasha was very caring and conscientious - she took excellent care of Lucy, provided us with regular updates, and was very pleasant and reliable to communicate with. We especially appreciated how calm she and her household is, and that she got to know our dog as an individual special being, not just ‘a dog’. I would highly recommend Tasha to anyone looking for a safe, loving caretaker for their furry family member.
