About: As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your fur babies. I currently have my sweet girl Nova at home and am comfortable with pets of different temperaments and needs. I strive to create a safe, stress free experience while keeping owners updated with lots of photos and messages. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication, or just a consistent routine, I’ll make sure they receive attentive care. I’m currently a SAHM with a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs throughout the day. Your pets are treated like family! I have 1 cat in my home currently that is okay with dogs that visit. I maintain a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment and carefully supervise interactions at all times.
About: I have had pet care experience with a neighbor for four years now. And I have also helped own a dog for 8 years. With my neighbor I do pet sitting/drop in visits, dog walking, and cat care. With my own dog, I have had him since he was a puppy, and he is my best friend. I have had experience living with him, walking him, feeding him, and bathing and grooming him as well. I would do anything for my dog, and I will transfer that love to all animals I meet. I am a college student and my plan is to do this during my winter break between semesters. Since I will not have school during this time, my schedule is very free and flexible. I am doing this to have something to look forward to every day during break. So I am very open on a daily basis to accommodate to your schedule. My plan is to do services that are in my clients home because my dog right now doesn't always work well with others. So when I am in my clients home I will treat all people, items, and pets with the utmost respect and kindness. I will care for your pets on drop-in visits and on walks like they are my own.
“Heather is so good at communicating with me, she always watches for anything unusual in Josie’s routine and makes sure to notify me. She’s been very flexible and extremely reliable. As an anxious dog mom, I am so at ease knowing she is taking care of Josie. And Josie is always happy after her walk days with Heather!”

About: Hi my name is Yee Lam but everyone calls me Suki. I grew up with dogs and am a dog lover. I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. I’m a full-time mom, and when my son (9) and daughter (7) are in school, I have plenty of free time to care for pets—playing with them, feeding them, and giving them all the attention they need. My kids love dogs too, and I think this is a wonderful way for them to learn the joys and responsibilities of having a puppy. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 9 a.m. We have a spacious yard for safe outdoor play, and our neighborhood is calm, family-friendly, and right next to a school, with no major roads nearby, so you can feel at ease knowing your dog will be safe on our walks.

About: Dogs are my favorite people - I attract dogs wherever I go. I have owned two dogs in my adult life-English Bulldog and Goldendoodle. Currently, I have a 10 year old goldendoodle. She loves everyone. I am a teacher and have off during the summer. I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, running, reading, gardening, and cooking. I’m currently on summer break, so my days are very flexible. During the school year, I am available before 7am or after 4pm. I have a very friendly goldendoodle. I have a big yard. I am willing to provide lots of love, playtime, and walks for your dog. I can be active with your pet or sit with them and love them up. Whatever you need, I can provide.
About: We have been loving and caring for dogs for a long time. Big and small dogs; young and old. Our son and 7 year old dog are welcoming I am currently working from home and Bryan works part time. Our son is home schooled at this time, therefore, we have time and energy to help other dogs and other families We have a large yard in a quiet neighborhood; part of our yard is fenced and other part is open for additional exercise. We also walk our dog daily.
About: I have had experience watching dogs since I was 12. My neighbors often have me walk their dogs when they are unable, and about a year ago I started watching my family and friend’s dogs when they are out of town. I currently work part-time and I don’t have school during the summer so I am free most week days. I am also available on various weekends depending on my other job’s schedule. I create a safe environment in client’s homes by ensuring the dog has nothing dangerous within reach. Keeping a clean and safe space helps the both the dog and owner feel more at ease.

About: Experienced & Loving Dog Care | 14+ Years in Rescue, Training & Medical Care Dogs have always been at the heart of my life—growing up, they were truly cherished members of our family, and that philosophy guides how I care for them today. For over 14 years, I have worked hands-on in rescue shelter environments, giving me deep experience with dogs of every size, age, and background—from tiny toy breeds to gentle giants. My time in rescue has taught me patience, intuition, and deep compassion. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with extremely fearful dogs, including those rescued from puppy mills who had never known human touch or seen the light of day. Helping them learn to trust, feel safe, and discover the joy of just being a dog is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. What I Bring to Your Dog’s Care: Specialized & Behavioral Care: Experienced in basic dog training and working with a wide range of unique personalities (from energetic pups to timid rescues). Medical & Recovery Support: Proficient in administering oral medications (pills and liquids) and supporting dogs through physical therapy and post-op recovery. Family-Level Love: Every dog in my care is treated with the exact same warmth, attention, and affection I give my own. Dependable & Adaptable: I have a flexible schedule, pay close attention to detail, and follow your home and care instructions to the letter. (I also have experience in caring for small mammals and reptiles!) I’d love to meet your pup and provide them with a safe, comforting, and fun environment while you're away! Pet care isn’t just something I squeeze into my schedule; it’s central to my day to day life. With a flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate focused, quality time to the animals in my care without rushing. Whether your pet needs a mid-day walk, precise medication timing, or dedicated cuddle and play sessions, my routine naturally accommodates their specific needs. I prioritize consistency so your pet’s daily rhythms—feeding times, exercise, and rest—remain uninterrupted while you’re away. Safety and trust are the foundation of everything I do. Having spent over 14 years working in animal rescue, I am trained to maintain a secure, low-stress environment and anticipate potential hazards before they happen. In Your Home: I strictly honor your pet’s safe space and established routines. I keep doors and gates secure, ensure all foods and medications are safely stored, and strictly follow your home rules. Building Trust: I let pets approach me at their own comfort level, using positive reinforcement, soft body language, and patience—especially with anxious or rescue pets. Health & Safety: I am highly experienced in monitoring health cues, managing medical recoveries, and administering medications, giving you complete peace of mind that your pet and home are in capable, loving hands.
About: Hi! I’m Jessica, a privately insured pet sitter with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. While pet sitting isn’t my full-time job, it’s something I take seriously and do with great care and attention. I work outside the home from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays, and depending on proximity, I’m happy to use my lunch break to let dogs out or check in as needed. Note: I offer limited weekday walks depending on your location. Please reach out if you're nearby - I'd love to see if we're a good fit! I have personal experience with reactive dogs—my own Australian Cattle Dog has been in training classes for most of her life. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m very familiar with basic obedience, force-free methods, and the consistency and awareness needed for dogs who benefit from structured, respectful handling. I’m comfortable following your routines and supporting your dog’s ongoing training while you’re away. What I Offer: -Overnight in-home pet sitting -Daily routines maintained (meals, walks, meds, enrichment) -Midday check-ins depending on location -Basic home care (mail, plants, light tidying) -Regular updates with photos and messages -Calm, confident care for anxious or reactive pets Why In-Home Sitting? Keeping pets in their own home helps reduce stress and maintain routine—especially for pets who are reactive, shy, or sensitive to change. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment while you’re away so your pet can relax and thrive in familiar surroundings. A Little About Me: I live with two cats and a very smart (and very opinionated) Cattle Dog. I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities and energy levels, and I take the time to understand each animal’s unique needs. I’m fully insured, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to providing thoughtful, respectful care. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet! I’d love to learn more about your pet’s routine and how I can help keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away. I currently live in Sun Prairie and work in Waunakee with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Because I want to offer midday drop-ins whenever possible, I prioritize clients whose homes are close to my workplace—this helps me stop by during lunch for potty breaks, walks, or quick visits to keep your dog comfortable throughout the day. My current service radius is focused around Waunakee so I can provide reliable midday visits and consistent care for your pets. Outside of work hours, I’m flexible and dedicated to meeting your pet’s needs, including evening walks, playtime, and companionship. I'm also typically free on weekends, which allows me to offer longer visits, more availability for overnight care, and extra one-on-one time for pets who thrive with additional attention. I also offer a limited number of weekday dog walks based on proximity to my workplace. If you're located nearby, feel free to reach out and I'll let you know what's possible! Walks are best suited for dogs who are comfortable with a midday visit and flexible timing. I’m a stereotypical accountant—introverted, grounded, and extremely detail-oriented. While staying in your home, I aim to be as neat, respectful, and unobtrusive as possible. I understand how personal it is to invite someone into your space, and I take that trust seriously. My priority is making sure your pets feel secure, relaxed, and cared for in their familiar environment. I follow your instructions closely and maintain your pet’s daily routines to minimize stress while you’re away. Whether your pets need extra reassurance, medication, or just quiet companionship, I adapt to their needs while keeping your home clean, organized, and well looked after.
“Lensy is so wonderful! She’s consistently communicative and sends such fun photos. Absolutely incredible to have her care for Petey & shows above and beyond consideration for both my pets :) Look forward to having her walk again!”

“Elizabeth was great with our dog Cash giving us updates with pictures and giving him nice long walks. Will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have three dogs of my own, all with very different personalities and needs. I’ve put a lot of time into training and creating a successful multidog household, which has given me experience with everything from basic obedience and leash manners to reactivity, resource guarding and special-needs dogs. I’m comfortable following established routines, using the training methods and equipment your dog is accustomed to, and adjusting my approach based on each individual dog. I understand that not every dog is a social butterfly, and I’m happy to give dogs the space, patience and structure they need to feel comfortable. Most importantly, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone else with your dog. I’ll care for yours with the same attention and respect I expect for my own. As a registered nurse, I’m dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable following specific care and medication instructions. I’m also used to communicating clearly, so you can expect plenty of updates while your dog is in my care I’m an RN with a rotating schedule, which gives me several days off during the week and plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. On my days off, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and plenty of attention! I know every dog has their own routine, personality and comfort level. I’m happy to follow your established routine and any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crates or training. I have experience with multidog households, reactive dogs and special-needs dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my approach to what makes your dog feel safest and most comfortable. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
