“Elizabeth did an incredible job taking care of my large (very special) dog, Bonito. He has some reactivity and can be a bit of a tough but to crack and he immediately felt at home with her. I cannot recommend her services highly enough!”

“Christina was amazing and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She came down before the job to meet us and the pets. We immediately felt comfortable with her and our dogs both loved her. She communicated with us while we were away and was even kind enough to send pet updates and pictures. Our home was well respected and exactly as we had left it. I’d highly recommend Christina as a house and pet sitter”

“Amanda was incredible - I have a quirky crew of pups and she took the time and effort to get to know them and understand their needs. I felt completely at ease leaving got my trip knowing they were in good hands. Will definitely be hiring her again! And loved all the sweet updates she sent. Thank you Amanda!”

“Makalah is our first pet sitter from Rover. We hired her for house sitting so that she could care for our dog and cat in the comfort of their own home. We have had friends and family take care of the pets, but we’ve never had someone come spend the night. Makalah did an amazing job with both our pets. She bonded instantly with our cat and as she said, He’s my bestie! Our dog is 13 years old and requires more care, as he takes seizure medication three times a day. Makalah took on this responsibility and she made sure she let me know when she gave him his meds. Makalah’s communication with me throughout the day and night was great. She also sent pictures of both pets along with an update on how things were going. I am so glad I decided to take a chance with Rover and with Makalah. We will definitely be calling in her to care for our pets again.”

“Sarah was great! Sent pictures and was timely on her check ins with our two pups! Very patient and understanding with dogs who struggle with meeting new people. We will have her help again!”

About: I grew up taking care of our cats & dogs & gerbils. My mom raised labs. For the last few years I have cared for our little zoo. Two cats, a dog, a bunny and chickens. Do you have a nosy beagle that needs walked? Chickens that need to be closed up for the night? I know the struggle and I want to help! I currently maintain our small homestead and animals and I am always looking for new furry or feathered friends. I would love to help with lunch and afternoon walks or potty breaks. I am happy to watch your animals in your home, I will need to come home for a little bit in the mornings/evenings to care for our animals. I will make best friends with any animal that has to spend some time away from its family. Doesn't matter if it is an afternoon walk or weekend away I can guarantee your furry friend and I will have happy adventures or snuggling depending on their mood. Maybe even both! We will go on walks, hikes and the occasional swim depending on the weather. Perhaps we will play a little tug of war and make some pumpkin treats for all our friends.

“Ievet was fantastic with our two pugs and kept us well informed about how they were doing throughout the weekend. We received lots of pictures and had tremendous piece of mind that our dogs were safe and well while we were attending an out of state funeral. Our planned dog sitter cancelled on us at the last minute and Ievet was quick to respond to our request.”

About: Hey there, A little bit about me, I’m a mom to Kilo my 90lb 8year old malamute and ride or die hiking buddy. We hike, swim, play, and adventure outdoors everyday. I currently don’t have any cats at my household but I have had the pleasure of raising two cats in my life. My pet care experience ranges from puppy/kittens to elder animal care. I’m located in Bethel,ME and spend most of my time playing in the mountains. Hiking, snowboarding,xc skiing, snowshoeing, trail running, biking. I’m also an artist and entrepreneur. I have a very flexible schedule working for myself and can accommodate most times of day or days for walks, visits, and overnight stays. Weekdays and weekends are open for me. I’m unable to pet sit at my home due to my dog kilo being a dominant breed. She’s incredibly friendly but can be territorial. I’m comfortable doing drop in visits, pick ups, and stays at your home if that’s an option you’d like. I’ve pet sit for friends, family, and river clients for years.

“Michelle thank you! I appreciated the photos you shared during your 5 day stay at my home. It felt great knowing my kitty had company. And my home looked just as it had when I left! You even stripped the bed. Above and beyond what I expected. I will recommend your services to any who inquire:)”

“Richard was extremely patient with my rescue, when Richard arrived she decided she didn't like him. My other dog joined in. After some treats and patience on Richard's part, they warmed up and went out for him!”

About: I have worked at a Veterinary Hospital for about 5 years, working to keep their experience as comfortable as possible, along with growing up with cats, dogs, and farm animals.I do work another job so for house/dog sitting I would be getting to the location usually between 6:30-7ish depending on location, so keep this in mind when considering booking me While I work full time my schedule is set so there will not be likely to have unexpected changes giving your animals a good structure to work with I can come to your location to let your dogs out/take them for a walk, as well as feed them and get in playtime while keeping them in a space they feel comfortable.

About: With 5 years of hands-on experience at a doggie daycare, caring for pets is second nature to me! I have a sweet black Lab of my own, and I regularly care for my parents’ Pitbull and Rottweiler when they’re away. Oh—and I’m also a proud cat parent to three furry felines! From high-energy pups to chill cats, I’ve got the experience and heart to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. I’d be thrilled to care for your fur baby like they’re my own! I’m fully available all day on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays! On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I work mornings (6 AM–12 PM), but I’m available in the afternoons and evenings. Saturdays, I’m free between 10 AM–2 PM and after 5 PM. I’m happy to be flexible where I can—just reach out and we’ll find a time that works for you and your pet! At this time, I’m not offering boarding in my home, as one of my dogs is uncomfortable around unfamiliar animals. Her well-being—and the comfort of your pet—are both very important to me. I’m more than happy to provide drop-ins, walks, or care in your home to ensure a safe and stress-free experience for everyone!

About: I grew up with a 5lb yorkie who didn't need much work (very well behaved, mannered). When I finally got a dog as an adult, he was all sorts of crazy. Separation anxiety, counter surfer, the works, but with lots of training, he's gotten a lot better. I love working on the training I have learned with him with other dogs too. My friend has a reactive 75lb mix who has gotten so much better on walks! My dog comes with me everywhere, so he gets let out at least 4x a day with walks as well. Doing training whenever possible to keep sharp. I supervise them constantly, any play with dogs are always supervised and stopped if they are getting too worked up. On walks I focus on letting them sniff mixed with training, I don't let off leash dogs or leashed dogs greet (my dog gets too excited, so we try to focus on being calm).

“Danielle did a great job with my puppy. She arrived when she was supposed to, did all the extra puppy bathroom breaks/cleanups, kept her out of things, and provided me updates through the night. Thanks!!”

“Iris and Andrew had the best time with Mia! We got lots of pictures to keep us updated and was just so good to our fur babies! She’s someone we quickly trusted with our babies and in our home! We can’t wait to use her again!”

About: Love for the outdoors, trustworthy, responsible I do work a full-time job, so I'm mostly looking to drop in, feed, give love, and walk your pups when needed. Depending on the time of the day or the day or the week, I can be flexible. Feel free to ask me! Calm by nature and love all animals Live close to wooded walking trails and would be happy to take your dog. Also have a decent sized yard for room to play. We have a dog who is a very easy going dog and loves to play. We have a cat as well and does well with our dog but is usually to herself when guests come over. Will provide updates with pictures!! I want you to be as comfortable as possible to be away from your fur babes. Looking forward to serving your dog's needs! I work full time Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. I can be available after work or the weekends! I’d love to be your go-to person for those times. I would always have my eyes on and provide outside trips as often as necessary. I would make sure they are fed, comfortable and safe.

“Eliot did a great job! She took care of my sweet girl and the house. She also took care of my seedlings (I was worried about them almost as much as the dog!). I think she even emptied the dishwasher! Eliot is quiet but she responds to text messages and is very professional. I'd definitely recommend her!”

She has watched my dog several times, and always pays careful attention to my care instructions; sticking to his food and exercise regimen.
