“Aimee did an incredible job taking care of my dog! From the meet-and-greet we knew it would be a great match, but she sent lots of photos and gave my dog so much love I didn’t worry for a second while I was on vacation for a week. I’m looking forward to my next trip so my dog can go back and see Aimee and her family again!”

“My original sitter canceled the morning before my trip. I was frantically trying to find a new sitter and Kathleen let me book quickly without hesitation. I am so thankful for that! I recieved messages and pictures while away and I could tell Myles had a great time and was well taken care of. Thanks again!!”

“Sydney and her boyfriend completely spoiled my dog with attention during his stay! I loved receiving all of the pictures and updates, he looked like he was right at home with them. We are so glad we found her and are looking forward to using her again in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing, very friendly and amazing with our 2 dogs. She stepped in when a different rover provider could no longer care for our dogs during our vacation. Elysia sent us many pictures and videos and kept us up to date, putting our mind at ease. We highly recommend her and will be booking again!”

“Super nice/living family. After initially meeting them, I was very comfortable leaving my Murphy with them. They have two lovely Beagles and children who obviously love the dogs as well & a perfect indoor & outdoor setting for playing and roaming. They sent me photos and a video which made my day. Nathan even slept downstairs on the couch when my pup seemed worried without having anyone around as it was his first night away from home in several months since a horrific extended stay experience with a facility. I will definitely use them again whenever I need to be away from home!”

“Jessica deserves 10/10 stars. She was amazing with Bailey. She was able to make our wedding special by bringing Bailey to our wedding ceremony. We definitely plan on using Jessica again for our boarding services in the future.”

“Such a great experience all together!! Had many updates and pictures! Great communication! Great family! Louis had such a wonderful time! Thank you so much! (:”

“Anita took amazing care of my senior cat! Her picture updates made me feel so at ease and I could tell my kitty was so comfortable. She also handled my cat's insulin and mealtimes very well. I could really tell that she and her family loved having my sweet girl around. I highly recommend Anita to any cat parent looking for boarding!”

“Danielle and her kids were fantastic watching our dog for several days during vacation! Being on multiple medications, I’m always a bit nervous to leave her somewhere new, but Danielle was great and didn’t miss a beat! They went above and beyond to make her comfortable and we are so grateful ❤️”

“Sarah was very thorough with details and understanding of our our elderly dog's needs. She was flexible and communicated well. Thanks for loving on our sweetie!”

About: I foster for our local pet rescue and do well socializing pups and adult dogs who are child friendly. Avid walker with clean, comfortable home. I work from home daily so unless I’m at a client visit, you can expect 24/7 care. Can help over nights and weekends for traveling. I have a lead in the back yard for potty breaks, access to local metro park for long walks, stair gates and a pen for crating.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. Started with having my own pets as a child and raising orphan wildlife, then moving on to a carrier in veterinary. I’ve been working as licensed veterinary technician since 2009 and going strong. I still work part time at a clinic but spending more time at home now to raise my family. I am very comfortable with medical needs, including injections, and hold a special place in my heart for the elderly pets. I do still work part time at a vet clinic, but half days so your kiddos wouldn’t be going long periods without potty breaks and attention. I have a large fenced in yard that has direct access from the walkout basement where boarding pets stay. Your kiddo will be treated as one of the family, playing out in the yard and a lot of Netflix and chill on the couch. While I do have 2 dogs of my own, they will be kept separated from any boarding pets. We are surrounded by woods and wildlife so rabies vaccine and flea/tick prevention is a requirement to stay in our home.
“Gail did a great job for us while we were over seas. The girls had lots of attention and play time. Most important was that our one dog received all of her medicine daily. We worry about them getting everything they need. We will definitely use Gail again.”
“Amazing! Jenna did an amazing job taking care of our dog while we were on vacation. She has great communication and sent a lot of pictures each day. Our dog loved her! We felt very comfortable the entire week and will definitely book her again.”

I walk my dogs and can easily fit yours into my daily routine I have crate space and a lovely home for your dog/cat to stay. I have two friendly dogs to keep yours company, and a kitty in a separate floor to keep yours company as well!!
“Megan & her family are the best!! It was the first time I had been away from Bailey Rae overnight & was so anxious! She put my fears to rest & was beyond kind in taking such great care of Bailey! Bailey was well cared for & loved! She had so much fun she was worn out for 2 days!! I would highly recommend Megan for any pet sitting needs you may have!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
