“Athena is so kind and so compassionate, my dogs loved their time wither her & her family. They loved their new friend Rufus❤️ communication was outstanding, lots of pictures. It was such a comfort knowing how well cared for and loved my boys were while I was away. They were part of her family ❤️❤️❤️”

“Hard to miss how much Nathan and Jenna love dogs. And how could dogs not love them in return? They have the most amazing set up for a play area for the many dogs they welcome to their back yard. They kept me updated with photos and videos of our Petey as he enjoyed romping with other pups in the back yard and found just the right spot on Jenna's lap to cozy up. Thank you Nathan and Jenna for allowing Petey to join the fun at your home.”

“I felt Savanna took good care of Felipe. He loves everyone and he is a good dog and that showed when he was with Savanna and her family. Yes I would have him stay with her again. He was taken in his morning walks and they shared videos. Nice home and family. Thank you guys”

“Vicki is beyond amazing as a dog sitter. My lab has so much energy and the day he came home after a week with Vicki and her other dogs, he did nothing but sleep! While at the sitters he took great advantage of the dog friendly swimming pool and large yard. Vicki sent me pictures everyday and let me know what adventures my dog was experiencing. I highly recommend Vicki - she loves dogs!!! We will be a repeat customer ?”

“First time using Rover (recommended from a family member). From first experience with Rover and first sitter, I am very impressed! Sauddi and my cats got along very well. (They are friendly to everyone and will not go near people they sense are problems.). She provided daily videos, images and messages to update their status. She definitely did a fantastic job and, recommend her for a cat sitter. Gentle and kind. Thank you so much, you were a big help! 😊”

“Louis was so scared and nervous the 1st day! I was seriously thinking about cutting my trip short and picking him up, but Doug was so patient with him that by the next day Louis was his happy self again. So thankful this was a great experience for Louis!”

“My senior pup just got home from a wonderful weekend with Patti! He had the best care and we received regular updates and photos. My dog has vision issues among other senior ailments and needs medication at meals. Patti was so patient and helped him navigate the new space, always making sure he was safe. We felt so comfortable with Igor in Patti’s care and look forward to him visiting her again!”

“Theresa and her husband took such great care of our Niah on a last minute request. Niah hasn't stayed with too many strangers but Theresa and her husband did such a great job making her feel comfortable and making sure she adjusted and keeping me updated! I would highly recommend them for your fur babies!!!”

“Melissa was amazing! I was nervous to leave my dog I’ve never left her with a stranger before and as soon as I met her I know it would be good. She gave me daily updates and pics which I loved and felt at ease on my vacation. Will def be booking her again if needed!🩷”

“My original sitter canceled the morning before my trip. I was frantically trying to find a new sitter and Kathleen let me book quickly without hesitation. I am so thankful for that! I recieved messages and pictures while away and I could tell Myles had a great time and was well taken care of. Thanks again!!”

“Our baby Buddy is our family. He's our son. We rarely leave him with anyone, but I need you to know that Sarah did an amazing job. She made us feel comfortable, she communicated with us sent photos, videos of our furry love one. She put our mind at ease. Kept us updated on his activities. Job well done. Sarah is a very kind-hearted person. I would definitely utilize her services again and again.”

“Our mini labradoodle, Freddie, loves his time at his “vacation home” with Kristin and her family! We appreciate that they care for him the same as they do their own pets and we don’t have to worry about him while we are gone!”

“We had a great experience with Corey from start to finish. From the initial meet‑and‑greet, Corey was friendly, communicative, and took the time to understand our expectations for the care of our Fergal. During the stay, Corey shared updates on how Fergal was doing, and at pick‑up he provided feedback on how the stay went, including little details about Fergal that made it clear he genuinely paid attention and cared. A stay with Corey doesn’t feel transactional — it feels personal, it’s clear he truly cares about the dogs he looks after. He’s quick to respond, communicates well, and does his best to fully understand and deliver on expectations. Fergal was comfortable and well cared for in Corey’s home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.”

“We love Alicia! So fortunate to have found her, and so is my Dog! She has excellent communication and checks in with you during the stay. Although it’s our dog, it’s still nice to have the updates. Thank you for being so good to him and us!”

About: It brings me great joy to care for animals. I love rescues, seniors, energetic animals, loafers and grumpy pets. I refer to all dogs as puppies. I see the puppy in them always, even the grumpy ones. With a scared or unsure dog, I don’t try to make friendship happen. I’m happy to simply be with them, provide comfort and let them decide when we’re buddies. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with a wide variety of dogs, cats and birds. I’ve also had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience caring for chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys. I’ve spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses as well and am always open to learning and expanding my experience. My schedule is currently very flexible, with plenty of room in my day for the dogs in my care. Our days naturally include outside time, walks, play, meals, companionship and plenty of time to relax. I’m happy to adjust that rhythm around what your dog is accustomed to at home. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard and one friendly, active senior pup who enjoys having company. I’ll learn your dog’s normal routine, what they enjoy, what makes them nervous and any little quirks that help them feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, sleeping and crate routine if they have one. Ours is a genuinely animal-friendly home where furry friends are welcome to get comfortable, including on the furniture and bed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Franklin
I was a little nervous to leave my dog with a stranger but Corey proved to be a kind and considerate person who truely likes dogs. I liked the fact that he was calm and helpful with my "thinks she's a princess" little dog. Communication was great and he has floors without rugs. I will definitely ask for him again.
