Hi! I’m Corey — a pet-loving guy who truly understands how deeply animals become family. I’ve spent the last 15 years caring for dogs, including two beloved seniors who recently passed in 2021 and 2025. Betty, an English Bulldog who was “thicker than a bowl of oatmeal,” and Sadie, my blue-tick coonhound/beagle mix who was a true treat connoisseur with a heart of gold. Losing them has been incredibly hard… but also a powerful reminder of just how special the bond with a pet really is. Caring for other people’s pets has become a form of healing and therapy for me. I miss the snoring, the wagging tails, the playtime, and the pure happiness a dog brings into a home. Being around animals fills me with joy, and I pour that love right back into the pups I watch. I have hands-on experience with: • Senior dog care (medications, patience, mobility support, and gentle comfort) • High-energy dogs who need walks and structured play • Bulldogs, hounds, and every personality in between • Smaller breeds like Chihuahuas and Dachshunds Your dog isn’t just a “dog” to me — they’re family, someone’s whole heart. And while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same gentleness, humor, consistency, and affection that I gave to Betty and Sadie.

We had a great experience with Corey from start to finish. From the initial meet‑and‑greet, Corey was friendly, communicative, and took the time to understand our expectations for the care of our Fergal. During the stay, Corey shared updates on how Fergal was doing, and at pick‑up he provided feedback on how the stay went, including little details about Fergal that made it clear he genuinely paid attention and cared. A stay with Corey doesn’t feel transactional — it feels personal, it’s clear he truly cares about the dogs he looks after. He’s quick to respond, communicates well, and does his best to fully understand and deliver on expectations. Fergal was comfortable and well cared for in Corey’s home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.
I was a little nervous to leave my dog with a stranger but Corey proved to be a kind and considerate person who truely likes dogs. I liked the fact that he was calm and helpful with my "thinks she's a princess" little dog. Communication was great and he has floors without rugs. I will definitely ask for him again.

We had a great experience with Corey! We booked last minute and over the New Year's Eve holiday. He took great care of two very senior dogs during cold, snowy weather. He has a beautiful home that is tucked far back from the main road. We will stay again!
Corey is absolutely that person who walks into a party and makes friends with the pets before the people. We’ve watched friends’ and family’s dogs and cats for years, and I’ve seen firsthand how gentle, patient, and playful he is with every animal he meets. He’s great at getting even shy pets to warm up, is reliable with walks and routines, and treats every “fur guest” like they’re his own. Full disclosure, I’m married to him, but that also means I’ve had a front row seat to how seriously he takes caring for animals, and I would trust him with any pet, any day. ❤️

A typical day
Your pup will get plenty of love! We’ll go for walks, play around the house, take little nap breaks, and soak up all the snuggles. Expect a happy, tired, and well-loved dog by the end of the day.
