“Mark and Vicky are wonderful! We were nervous about leaving our dog, Oliver, for the first time. They made us feel comfortable by meeting with us before his stay and getting to know all of Oliver's little quirks. They sent us updates with pictures every day of our trip and we could definitely see how much fun Oliver had while we were away. They gave him plenty of exercise, love, and attention. It was such a great experience and we are so thankful to Mark and Vicky for their great care. Oliver did not want to leave!”

About: Having a pet of my own with diabetes set me on a path to learn more and start a career toward helping animals that may need more care than others. I am a helper by trade and love spending time with pets so I hope I can apply my years of dedication and adoration for animals by helping take care of yours when you need assistance. I work as a general handyman and take classes toward veterinary technician and looking to help others with my spare time. Walking dogs is a passion of mine and, depending on the owner's request, can keep it local or take them to a desired park or hiking path. I walk daily on my own so a few extra paws would be good for me and the pooch! My cats are indoor/outdoor so they roam but stay close to the property. I do not leave them out alone. Inside we play a bit until they get bored, listen to music, and of course they nap...mostly they nap... When I have had dogs in the past, they get outside time to enjoy the sunshine and breeze and we're never left out in bad weather conditions. They've always had a safe and comfortable place inside the home.

About: I have loved and cared for animals as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had a golden retriever and six cats. Throughout the last 15 years, I have had three golden retrievers and two cats of my own. I treat my pets like my kids and would do the same for yours. Someone is almost always home at our house. My kids adore animals and love to play with them. Your fur babies would be sure to get plenty of love and affection. We have a gated deck that we love to spend time on. We are always outside with the kids so your pup would be sure to get plenty of fresh air. Our neighborhood is large and has sidewalks so we love to go on walks and would be happy for your pup to come along. We want your baby’s stay at our home to be as comfortable and stress free as possible for them.

“Marie is an awesome person, who cared for my buddy Wally like he was her own. I was quite anxious about leaving Wally—since this was first time away for an extended period, and it was Wally’s first time away from home. Marie has a secure fenced in backyard and places on the inside for play and break time. She fed Wally as instructed and sent pics everyday. She and Jorge took wonderful care of my Wally and I unequivocally recommended her as an outstanding dog-sitter. I’ve also used Marie several times in the past as a drop-in at my house when I was on quick over-nights. Thank you Marie!”

About: I've been house and pet sitting since I was a teenager, over 20 years! I've had my own dogs for 12 years and would be lost without our Sparrow, she completes my family! She and I are an easy going, laid back family with a large yard and lots of outside time. I work from home and take frequent breaks for walks outside. I use gates to keep dog friends in safe places, crates are optional and of Sparrow's choosing to use. Sparrow is a 3 year old golden doodle that loves other dogs and is chill and friendly. She is the neighborhood mascot and often stops on her walks to see her favorite kids on the block. I am available for both daytime care and overnight care, as well as coming to your home for walks and check ins while you are away. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me! My first task of the day is always a long walk with my dog! We take 2-3 walks per day and include lots of ball or tag time. Because my job is flexible, I can arrange my day to suit caring for others' pets as well. I use child safety gates to provide safe spaces for dogs throughout the house. There are several comfy places around the house for resting and a big back yard for playing, which we do every night. I have a crate available too, if needed.
