About: My name is Alex and I would love to care for your furbabies as if they were my own! I host one family at a time (up to three pets from the same family). This ensures a premium experience for your pet that is calm, friendly and enjoyable. I do not have children or any pets of my own-this way I am be able to maintain a stress free environment for your pet to avoid any anxiety or nervousness around children or new animals. It is my job to put you and your pets at ease while you are away or busy. I want to ensure a stress free experience for all. 🐾 I will always be around to supervise the animals while I petsit! I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and in December 2022, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. At this time, I’m not able to offer housesitting, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks! Kindly note: * if your dog has a history of aggression towards people or has indoor accidents frequently I will not be able to host them. *Experience with breeds such as greyhounds, who may need a more quiet atmosphere I am available consistently at the moment as I run a part time home business. 24 hour consistent time with your pet is ensured. If they wish they can also sleep in the bedroom/bed. The fenced yard is big enough to run around supervised and also has tiered retaining walls. I also have a separate area for a cat(s) and a walk in closet style litter box “room”. I have plenty of toys, treats and catnip. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks!

About: Apart from being a people person, I love animals too! The connection we feel with our pets is unconditional love. I have open and efficient communication with a fun personality! I currently work full time, Monday through Friday, with an hour lunch break in Farmingdale, NY. I could always squeeze a walk or visit into my lunch break. I reside in Northport, NY; one of the most dog loving towns in Long Island! I am available for pet sitting in your home Friday evenings through Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays (that is when I work remotely). I have a fenced in yard with about an acre of land. I can crate a dog if necessary. I can reinforce positive behavior with treats, praise, and lots of love!

About: I’ve been a pet owner for my whole life, specifically with mid-size dogs. I love to play and am great with energetic animals, but I am also totally fine with relaxing and giving all the attention! Having a senior dog myself, I am great with the care and attention that they require. I am a quick learner and would be happy to learn how to provide any specific care! I am currently a full time student, and I have availability after 12 on Wednesdays and full weekend availability. I am happy to provide as much care as possible on the weekends!
