About: I’m a true lover of dogs! I have a very friendly 11 year old Shih Tzu Bichon mix, a 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter. I have a completely fenced backyard on an acre of property. I take an evening walk after dinner every night and would love to bring your pup along with me! I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pet I care for. I can focus on their needs, including, feeding, exercise and and special instructions I am given. I have a very large fenced in backyard. My neighborhood is very safe. My home is on one level with plenty of couches and beds to sleep on. I have 1 dog and watch no more than 1 dog (siblings are an exception) at a time to give them the attention and comfort they need.

About: I can still cry when I tell someone the story of when I got my first dog at 13yrs old. I held that adorable golden retriever pup and cried asking if it was really mine! The story of bringing another golden retriever into the lives of my daughters can yet again bring me to tears! Such precious memories! I am now on my second chocolate lab (easier hair drying time lol). Anyway a dog enters my life it is always special. That includes my daughter's cockapoo who has stolen my heart! Whenever I am out and see a dog, no matter what the breed, I always ask to say hello and give a pet! My family and friends sometimes call me the "Dog whisperer" because I am always ready to help should a question arise about care. I have cared for friends and family dogs many times and am ready to help with yours and create a special bond while doing so! I'm currently working in a school. Therefore, my availability during the week is limited. I am available for pop ins and walks after 4pm. Saturday and Sunday I have more availability and during the summer months. I walk my dog every morning and enjoy playing in my backyard. I am always giving lots of love and attention be it snuggles or cookies! Of course the cookies are given in moderation even when it is hard to resist the eyes of my dog asking for one!

About: I have been watching and taking care of friends/family dogs for years and have raised my own since he was a 8 weeks old. I can clip nails, bath give ear/eye treatments if ever needed. I work remotely from home for the most part and would only accept to care if I am home that day. I have a 30 lb Klee Kai mix at home who would accompany your pet on walks/play time and naps. Walks would be about every 2-3 hours for potty breaks. For extra outdoor play time we could go out on the large patio on my floor. Pets are allowed to hang out and nap on couch

Your pets’ comfort, safety, and happiness will always be my top priority :) I’m a homebody who works from home, so pet care fits perfectly into my day. I’m around to give them attention, keep them company, and make sure they feel safe and loved the whole time. I care for pets in other peoples homes currently, if it’s family, friends or clients I’ve met throughout the years, my main priority is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for every animal. This includes bathing, always making sure they have food and water/or following specific feeding times, play time, walks, pets, relaxation time.
About: Growing up, my family always had a house full of dogs and cats of every size, breed, and personality — and we often fostered strays, too! From an early age, I learned hands-on skills like training techniques, behavioral understanding, and basic at-home vet care. Over time, I developed a calm, intuitive approach that helps me connect with almost any animal I meet (and I’m always happy to prove it!). In middle and high school, I spent weekends volunteering at my local animal shelter, CNY SNAP in Cortland, NY. As an adult, I continued rescuing and rehoming cats and dogs until a few years ago when I welcomed my daughter. Now that she’s a bit older, I’m thrilled to be back doing what I love — caring for animals of all kinds. I understand that not every pet instantly warms up to new people, and that’s totally okay. I never force affection — instead, I read their cues, respect their boundaries, and build trust at their own pace. Whether your pet is shy, playful, senior, or special-needs, I’ll meet them where they are and give them the care and patience they deserve. Reliability and safety are my top priorities. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own — leaving things clean, tidy, and often better than I found them. I value your privacy and always maintain discretion about your space and schedule. I’m detail-oriented and take note of the little things that make a big difference — from following feeding routines precisely to keeping track of any changes in your pet’s behavior. I’m also big on communication: you’ll receive thoughtful, photo-filled updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and cared for. Clients have described me as calm, reliable, and attentive — someone they can truly trust. My goal is always to create a stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I work from home on my own time so I have open availability! Weekends welcomed, and most holidays as well! I do my best to keep my schedule updated. While I can’t host pets in my own home (lease restrictions), I’m proud to provide an exceptional experience for both you and your pet in your home. I treat every home and animal with the highest level of care and respect, ensuring a calm, clean, and comfortable environment. I follow your pet’s care plan to the letter — feeding, medication, walks, bedtime routines, and all the little details that make them feel secure. I also go above and beyond to leave your space in great condition (because let’s be honest, a little pet mess is part of the fun!). If any questions or concerns arise, I’ll always reach out before taking any steps we haven’t discussed. I believe in clear, consistent communication and earning trust through reliability, attention to detail, and genuine love for what I do. And of course — all the cuddles and playtime are included, free of charge! ⭐ Please Note: I may occasionally have my five-year-old daughter with me for overnight stays. This will always be discussed ahead of time during our meet and greet to make sure you’re completely comfortable.

About: Neighbors and family have relied on me to care for their pets, including elderly and special needs animals, as well as exotic reptiles and birds, many times. I’m a part-time student in eco-toxicology at this time studying online so I’m around full time for pet care, feel free to reach out for care any day of the week! I live with my large family, and my roommates have two dogs and two cats, all of which are friendly. We have two spare crates for visitors so let me know if your dog is crate trained! Please keep in mind that my partner joins me for house sitting bookings. We have two cats together and he is also certified by Rover :)

“Rachel and Henrik (and their two wonderful kids!) watched our two Goldendoodles for the weekend, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. From the start, it was clear this was a perfect fit—we did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and instantly felt comfortable. Their home is beautiful, clean, and has a great backyard where our dogs had plenty of space to run and play. More importantly, our dogs were treated like part of the family—they got tons of attention, snuggles, and care all weekend. We also really appreciated the frequent updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind. When we dropped them off, our dogs were so excited they ran right in without hesitation—that says everything. You can truly tell how much Rachel and Henrik love dogs and care for them as their own.
