About: I have had 3 puppies in the past 3 years and one elderly, sickly dog that I help take care of, and watch a family friend's dogs, by walking and feeding them whenever they need me to as they take multiple trips throughout the year. Very flexible as watching pets is something I do on a daily basis with all 8 of my dogs requiring attention. My schedule also fits the needs of future clients and what special needs they may insist on. About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a child and I finally convinced my parents to rescue one a few years ago! I’ve been the sole caretaker of him since he joined our family and I’ve taken him through the process of crate training, basic commands, recall and potty training! About: I have raised and lovingly cared for 3 dogs in the last 20 years. Your pet will feel like they are at home when you're away.. I am a local teacher with my summer off. I have two dogs and children but they travel between two houses. While your pet stays with me it would be just them and myself, they would get my full attention! About: I’ve been dog sitting for most of my life! I am also an owner of a bichon poodle :) I love meeting all different types of animals! I am free anytime during the week to watch your animal. I am located out of Collegetown, Ithaca. Weekends I cannot stay over night but I can during the week. About: A second year veterinary student at Cornell University. As a veterinary student I have plenty of experience with all types of animals. I have been in and out of veterinary clinics since high school and before I came to Cornell, I spent 3 years working full time as a veterinary assistant at small animal veterinary hospitals. I also have some wildlife and horse experience if that need ever arises. I have two dogs of my own (a yellow lab and a black lab I am currently training to be a future service dog) and so I have plenty of my own experience owning and training dogs. I have a fenced in yard, however, I do live in a house with dogs and cats (as any veterinary student would) so a dog/cat friendly atmosphere is preferred should your fur baby need to come to my house. I am a student and most of my classes are in the morning and afternoon. I am usually busy from around 7-3 pm but it definitely varies a lot by day. I can stop by anytime before (sometimes during) and after that time period. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house. I am a veterinary student with two labs so I am well aware of the danger of leaving things lying around (my puppy eats everything she can see!). I can host a dog in my house for a short time period but since I do have other animals in my house, I require that they be friendly with the other animals (dogs, cats) in my house.
