About: I have a dog at home that is 5 years old that I take care of. I can provide medicine to any dog and can provide senior care also! I am currently working part time this summer. I am available weekly to walk and babysit dogs! I can also provide walks multiple times a day if needed I will take them for walks three times a day and will take them to a dog park. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!
About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.
About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!

About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a child and I finally convinced my parents to rescue one a few years ago! I’ve been the sole caretaker of him since he joined our family and I’ve taken him through the process of crate training, basic commands, recall and potty training! About: Fun fact: I began dog walking/sitting at just the age of 15 in Los Angeles, where I’m originally from. The old school way: pinning flyers around my neighborhood. My first client: a Great Dane as big as me. We soon became best friends. I am attentive and adapt easily to all sorts of pets — I know when it’s time to play, time to eat, and time to mellow out. As for cats, I love cuddles and purrs - my touch is soft, and I know cat play. I am naturally very observant and detail-oriented - meaning I will adapt according to your fur baby’s comfort level, preferences, and passions. Should your pet require a smaller, enclosed space, I will pick up on that! I am attentive to needs and ensuring water is filled up, and bellies are full when the time comes. I am also aware of keeping things out of reach when I am not around.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. As I got older I learned more about the importance of animal care. I have pet sit my families dogs many times as well as friends and neighbors. I not only pet sit but walk and run dogs! I believe that exercising dogs both mentally and physically is very important. Since I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, I take my dog, Bear, outside at least 6-8 times per day, and always take him on a long walk (45 min) in the afternoon or evening. I also do at least one basic obedience / trick training session with him. If you want, I can definitely follow the same pattern with your dog, and work on basic obedience training or even teach your puppy a few tricks during the stay at my home. I use Rover myself when I need to travel, so I know how nerve racking it is to leave your fur baby with someone else. Rest assured I will care for your baby, as I would like someone else to care for mine. I am not accepting older dogs / dominant dogs at the moment because my puppy was attacked recently, so to ensure his safety I will only be working with young dogs for the moment. I have a business that I run from home and my schedule is super flexible. I take my dog outside for breaks at least 6-8 times per day, as well as for a long walk (45 minutes) at least once. Since we live close to Buttermilk State Park, we go there often for our walks. I also love to exercise my dog mentally with training sessions. I do them once a day. I would follow this same routine with your puppy if he/she stayed with me. The safety of your puppy is my number one priority. For this reason I require a Meet & Greet for all new clients to ensure my dog and yours will get along. I have a nice sized backyard that is partially fenced. I have a run in place for my dog I often take him there on a leash as well. Your dog will have access to the whole house. I will be supervising your puppy all day, the same way I do mine. I homeschool my 9 year old daughter, so I have a lot of time to care for your puppy. We usually take our own pup, Bear, on walks during the day. I am very detailed oriented. I will follow all your instructions to endure your pet’s safety. I will give all the cuddles and love also ;)

My golden retriever, Simba was well taken care of in her home, instead of in a kennel at the overpriced “fancy” boarder in Ithaca. She sent me updates and pics daily and answered all of my texts within minutes! When my arrival time changed last minute, she was flexible and understanding. I will be using Destiny in the future and recommending her to other dog parents that I know!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. My priority is following your lead when it comes to what's best for your pet's safety, nurturance, and play! Right now, my care schedule is flexible! I'm available for boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours. I work part-time, two days a week as a direct service provider from my home and 1-2 events per week at Cornell. I'm intentionally staying open so I can spend time at home with my dog and am never away for long! I love taking long walks around my quiet, rural neighborhood or spending time exploring the area. I live in a quiet, rural cottage with a screened in porch, backyard and tie out. My cattle dog mix is super playful and loves other dogs! Happy to also provide care in your home, especially for cats and other animals.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. As I got older I learned more about the importance of animal care. I have pet sit my families dogs many times as well as friends and neighbors. I not only pet sit but walk and run dogs! In high school I actually had a small business where I would take peoples dogs for a run or walk! I work part time and am in my last year of college at Cornell University. I tend to go on walks and runs daily so I would love to have a dog accompany me. I tend to study at home in a friend friendly community so I will have lots of time to care for them. I am very observant and watchful! Being in the science field has allowed me to pay attention to detail, so I take that in to my practice or caring for animals. I truly love dogs so much and have a passion for caring for them!
