About: I spent a year working in a nature center with all kinds of animals, including a bird rehab with eagles and owls! I have taken care of several foster cats, including a very special rescue who needed a lot of medical attention. I am often trusted to cat and dog sit for my friends and family. I move around a lot so it's been hard to have my own permanent animal, so I just spend as much time as I can with the animals around me! My work schedule is part time and flexible so I have plenty of time and energy to take care of your pets and do house sitting. I have a good sized two bedroom house so there is plenty of space for a pet to explore. There are no other pets in the house, so there is no concern about if unknown animals will get along with each other or not. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood so long walks are very doable. I have my own car in good condition and a great driving record if pets need to be taken anywhere (scheduled or emergency). I also have extensive babysitting experience so I'm used to being in other people's homes and respecting their space.

About: Both me and my boyfriend have grown up on farms and been surrounded by animals our entire lives. We were both on the veterinarian track until partly through undergrad so have hundreds of hours of experience in vet clinics, pet hospitals, and farms. We were raised with dogs, cats, cows, horses, etc. I am now a PhD student at UofA and my boyfriend is in IT. Since I am in school, we cannot financially afford to bring a pet into our lives currently. We would love to shower your beloved pet with all of our combined animal love! I have a very flexible schedule to be home as much as your pet requires and we both have extensive experience with all animals from youngsters to our beloved seniors. I am a PhD student, meaning my schedule is extremely flexible. I do not take very many classes and my research does not require specific hours. I am able to work from home or come home periodically throughout the day. We do not currently have any pets but live in an extremely dog friendly apartment, with a dog park within the complex right outside of our building. Our apartment is well suited for an animal of any needs. We are animal lovers to our core so will ensure your dog is well loved. We are avid hikers and walkers and would love to get your animal as much exercise as they like!

About: Dog guests love our secured yards and comfy dog beds! We have one indoor/outdoor (very friendly but low energy) dog and an indoor cat and I'm home with pets all day. Large home with grassy front yard and large backyard. Pool, for dogs who like swimming. Dogs get to come inside and outside as they like, and I always supervise them. Our dog loves visitors, and our cat tolerates them. If your dog likes walks, we do one lengthy walk (if it's not too hot) every evening. If your dog likes to play, we have a yard full of toys and are happy to throw things and play tug-of-war. Want frequent updates? No problem. I'll take eleven million pictures of your dog being cute. Care is tailored to your and your pet's preference. We're used to special dietary needs and administering medications. I have stairs to our bed for little and older dogs and they're welcome on all the furniture. If your dog is into binging shows, I am agreeable as long as they do not have terrible taste. We love our pets and we like knowing they're happy when we're away, too! For housesitting, I'll be there as much as you like. You will come home to your house exactly as you left it, with happy pets. Pet care is my only job. Your pets will always have my full attention- I'm always available to them for attention, playing, walks, and snuggling. At this time, we are not offering pet sitting services in our home. We recently adopted a stray cat, and he's still very skittish with new people and animals.
