“Rochelle was amazing! Took wonderful care of our puppy, send lots of updates and was very communicative! Put our mind at ease for our first time away and will definitely use her again!”

“Sierra was wonderful with our dogs! She sent us daily pictures and updates which was absolutely perfect especially since I sometimes forgot to ask! But in every picture or even the one video our dogs were having a blast, she was so professional and nice! Would definitely rebook!!”

“Samantha was amazing! She was able to help me out last minute and was super communicative! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the pets she cares for. Highly recommended!”

“Samantha was awesome! She shared pictures everyday and really gave TLC to our anxious old dog. You can really tell she loves animals. Will be using her again in the future for sure.”

“This was my first time using River and I could not have chosen a better person to leave my dog with than Kate. She kept me up to date as to how he was doing which did a lot to ease my mind. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is in need of someone to watch their pets.”

“My Bella and I absolutely love Kimberly. It is so comforting that when we get to Kimberly's, Bella runs over and goes right into her home. Kimberly sends me pictures and compliments about my Bella....it makes my heart smile. THANK YOU to Kimberly for making me feel like my Bella's at her home away from home.”

“Crystal and her family made our yellow Lab Daisy feel like part of her family. She allowed our dog to make herself at home and was given any attention she needed. From trips to a local park,to playing and interacting with Crystals own yellow Lab and cats, our dog had her own special vacation while we enjoyed ours. The frequent photos and emails that Crystal posted, let us know that our dog was in a safe and loving environment. We will definitely use Crystal again and have spoken highly about her and Rover.com to those we vacationed with and our friends and neighbors that have dogs.”

“Dixie clearly loves taking care of dogs, and was a great host to Sunny for an overnight. Her place is large, and though it's unfenced, she keeps an eagle eye on her guests while allowing them to patrol, with the aid of a 50 ft leash. If we come back this way again, I'll be happy to sign Sunny up with Dixie again.”

“My Henry LOVED her time with Sara (& Frank)! She misses them so much, the drive back to San Antonio was filled with ennui and long sighs on her behalf. I anticipate requesting their services every time we're in their neck of the woods. Sara knows how to manage and love other people's pets as if they were her own, and Henry feels so much better after her vacation.”

“Dan and Teresa have been very accommodating, Teresa keep good communication with me on how sila was doing. They were very flexible with me due to personal matters, but always kept good communication.”

“Pippin loved staying with Julia and her family. They provided him with so much love and care. It was so comforting to receive daily updates and pictures of Pippin making himself quite at home. We are more than pleased with this experience and would not hesitate to have Pippin stay with Julia and her family again.”

“Oreo takes daily pills and has fecal incontinence in her old age, so she can definitely be a handful. Per Amy, Oreo exhibited some very atypical behavior during her stay -- overnight pee accidents in her dog bed, which she hasn't done since puppyhood or with any other carer. We sent diapers to Amy's house mid-stay to attempt to mitigate the issue. I think Amy did her best with our elderly lady, and I'm not sure what would cause this. Oreo drank a ton of water as soon as she got back home, but hasn't had any pee accidents.”
“Sara was amazing! I was super last minute with plans and she was able to board my puppy and kept me updated with photos the whole weekend. Extremely quick with responses and easy to get a hold of. 100% will be boarding with her again!”

“Ivy is a very shy dog so we were very nervous to leave her for the first time. Carol was reassuring in her kind gentle voice that she’d be fine. She sent daily notes and pictures. When I went to pick her up Ivy actually hid behind Carol. Hurt my feelings, but I knew she had bonded with Carol which is exactly what you want in a care provider. So thanks again Carol for an awesome job!”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“Our first time taking a trip without our beloved Rocky. We could not have left him in better hands. The daily updates were great, and he seemed to have a great time. I highly recommend Xiting and would use her services again if she is available.”

“When we came to pick up Lady she was very calm and after greeting us she casually walked around the property. She seemed quite comfortable and rolled in the grass which is quite normal for her. A couple geese walked past her and she didn’t even give them a nod. Communication with Jeffery is excellent and we will definitely use his location again. It’s nice to have a place where our Lady isn’t so confined.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
