Sara was amazing! This was the first time I boarded my rescue and I was nervous to leave her. Sara put my mind at ease! We had a meet and greet, which went great! She has two other dogs and my tons of energy furbaby had a ball with her 11 month old. She has a huge "high" fenced in yard and chicken wire 3 feet below the fence, so dogs cannot dig their way out! She has a great set up! When I dropped Rosie off for vacation, Sara knew I was sad and nervous. She kept telling me it would be alright and promised she would keep an eye on my dog. Within in minutes of leaving, she sent me pictures and updates! I got daily pictures, videos and updates, which I looked forward to seeing! She put my mind at ease and both my pup and I enjoyed our vacations! Sara is a kind hearted and wonderful person. I would use her again in a heartbeat. If we lived closer, I would drop my 1 year old off more often. Sara is amazing! You will not be disappointed! Thank you!?

Teresa welcomed my gentle giants with big smiles and open arms. My pups loved checking everything out and settled in very quickly. Teresa was very accommodating and took care of my pups as if they were her own. We will definitely board with Theresa and Dan again and will tell our friends too. Thanks for everything.

Dixie clearly loves taking care of dogs, and was a great host to Sunny for an overnight. Her place is large, and though it's unfenced, she keeps an eagle eye on her guests while allowing them to patrol, with the aid of a 50 ft leash. If we come back this way again, I'll be happy to sign Sunny up with Dixie again.

It appears Nicholas enjoyed his time with Mary too much! He has been moping around the house getting used to a home without more people and pets. It was great receiving daily pictures and the care couldn’t have been more loving. I will definitely try to book with Mary whenever I travel in the future.

Erika and her family were great with Parker while we were out of town for the week. She kept me updated with pictures and reassured me that he was settling in well and got along great with her other dogs. Erika is very thorough and took the time to make sure all questions were answered and any special needs were accommodated. We felt very comfortable leaving Parker with her and he had a great time and was well cared for! Thank you!

Lindsey is a great dog sitter! I wasn't able to have my dog Zoe with me for Christmas this year, so she got to spend it with Lindsey and her family. Zoe was right at home there on "the farm" and really enjoyed being part of the family. She made some new friends with the chickens and horses and Lindsey's two dogs who were very friendly with Zoe. I highly recommend Lindsey if you have a dog who likes to be social and likes small children and other animals. Thank you Lindsey for taking such good care of my girl!

About: I have been a devoted animal lover and pet owner for many years, and caring for both cats and dogs has always been a true passion of mine. I understand that pets are beloved family members, each with their own unique personalities, routines, and needs, and I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. I am dependable, compassionate, and attentive to detail. Whether your pet is an energetic dog, a playful cat, a shy rescue, or a senior or special-needs companion, I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My experience with rescue animals and special-needs pets has taught me to be especially patient and observant, allowing me to quickly notice changes in behavior or health. Nothing makes me happier than earning an animal’s trust and ensuring they receive exceptional care while their family is away. My goal is to provide not only outstanding care for your pets, but also complete peace of mind for you. As a full-time high school teacher, I maintain a structured and dependable schedule, working from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the school year. This allows me to provide pet visits during the midday, if needed, and dedicated walks and care immediately after the school day. Caring for animals is an important part of my daily life. I share my home with two dogs, who enjoy their walks as soon as I return home, as well as my cats, who are part of my evening routine. This firsthand experience as a pet owner helps me understand the importance of consistency, exercise, affection, and attentive care. In addition to my availability during the school year, I have school vacations, holidays, and summers off, which provides greater flexibility to accommodate your schedule and your pets' needs. I am committed to providing reliable, compassionate, and professional care so you can feel confident that your pets are in excellent hands. I provide attentive, personalized care in your home so that your pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their regular routines. I understand that consistency is important for reducing stress and helping pets feel secure while their families are away. During each visit, I ensure that your pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or potty areas, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. For dogs, this includes walks, outdoor breaks, and interactive play tailored to their energy level and needs. For cats, I provide feeding, litter box maintenance, enrichment, and quiet companionship on their terms. I am experienced in caring for rescue, senior, and special-needs pets, including administering oral medications when needed. I take the time to observe each pet’s behavior and overall well-being, and I will promptly communicate any concerns. I also respect your home and will keep feeding areas, litter boxes, and pet spaces clean and tidy. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and receiving loving, professional care.

About: Hi Neighbors, I am a Natural World Enthusiast looking to provide support to pets and their owners in the community. My heart is geared towards animals. I have decades worth of experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets, from my own to friends and clients in the professional setting. My goal is to provide a sense of physical, mental, and emotional well being for your pet. I am here to help fill in the gaps in your busy schedules and be there. So whether your pal needs a hike, walk around the neighborhood, a feeding, medication dose (dogs and cats) or just a visit, I have your back. We all need movement, attention and praise, pets included. I use positive reinforcement as training method, for all pets at every stage. So whether you have a puppy with some aggression issues, a husky that needs a run, a diabetic cat, fish to be fed and admired, or an stinky old man dog that just needs to be sung to and told he's a good boy I am here to serve. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
