About: I have had a dog since middle school. I had a standard poodle, and now my family has a golden retriever. I have lived with roommates in college with a chocolate lab and a rescue puppy. I am currently in my hometown for the summer months and looking to earn a little money before grad school. I love dogs and have a lot of experience with a multitude of different dogs due to family, roommates, and friends. I love to go on walks and understand the stress it causes owners to be away from home so long without being able to take their pet out to use the bathroom/walk. I would love to help in that regard! I will have respect for your home and dog’s/your safety. I prefer instructions so I can meet all your requests! Obviously there is a lot of trust needed for this type of work and I want to make sure to respect that.

I also volunteer at a cat rescue I work full time 5am to 2pm and then volunteer on the side. I’d like to be available a few times a week i think. At the humane society, we focus on safety as our priority for me and the pet, I will do the same with your dog or cat.

About: Hi, I’m Stephanie—an animal care professional with 13+ years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for creating safe, enriching, and loving environments for animals of all kinds. My journey has taken me from the wilderness of Alaska*, where I raised and cared for a team of Alaskan Husky sled dogs, to leadership roles in animal welfare—working my way up to Operations and CSR Lead at an animal shelter, while also serving as a Client Experience Coordinator at a busy animal emergency hospital. In early 2025, I proudly founded my own rescue, Pawsitive Tales Rescue, where I continue to advocate for and care for vulnerable animals in need. Animals aren’t just my career—they’re my life. Whether I’m caring for playful puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, or medical-needs pets, I bring patience, experience, and genuine compassion to every animal I meet. My background in shelter medicine, emergency veterinary care, rescue work, and behavior gives me the confidence to care for pets with a wide variety of personalities and needs. About: I strive to provide the care and professionalism that I need and expect to be provided to my own pets. Dogs are wonderful creatures that deserve proper love and attention integrated into their family life. I have experience with successful training of my own dog's basic obedience skills (sit, stay, heel, eat, touch, shake, etc). Have taken care of many other dogs, reptiles, and fish for people in my life. I am especially interested in helping reactive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. I work freelance so I set my own schedule for the most part. Completely flexible for clients needs. A few weeks of the year I'm booked for longer gigs but that is easily identifiable up front for potential clients. Care for clients is completely dependent on their needs and comforts. I will always defer to the client for what is needed for them and their environment. Open and honest communication is the foundation for care and comfortability.

About: I'm a teacher and an animal lover! I'm great at caring for others. 😄 We have two friendly cats and would love to host some dogs. I'm available most weekends and all summer. I'm available to board your pet most weekends! You can always reach out even if my schedule says not available. Those that have boarded with us love that their pet was clean, relaxed and well cared for. My kids love animals and your pet will be given a lot of attention. We have two cats that we love dearly. Our animals are part of our family. We hope to meet a few nice families that want their pets to get some extra attention in evenings or weekends.

About: I have some experience taking care of neighborhood dogs and cats, but most of my care experience comes from the animals I grew up with in my own home. I grew up with bigger dogs most of my childhood and even had a cat for a short time! I love all animals, big or small. I am a student who is quite involved on campus. I may have some availability during the day, but mostly in the evenings and on weekends. When at your place, I am comfortable taking your pups on walks, playing with them inside or outside, and doing really anything else they may need. I also love playing with cats or cuddling up with either of your pets on the couch if they just need some affection while you’re away.
