“Kendra did a great job taking care of my dog. I would use her again if I was in the area. It was my first time using Rover so I was hoping for a good experience. I was a little discombobulated having packed late or a camping trip. Even though I forgot to leave my dog's dishes and supplement Kendra took it all into stride. With the missing supplement she contacted me and and made sure she understood how the medication my dog is on were given before I left my pup with her. Throughout the entire process she was communicative responding quickly to any questions I had. It was a good introduction to Rover.”

Crystal (the dog-sitter) said Sadie did well with the children and left the infants alone, so that went well. I was grateful Crystal allowed the dog to interact with the kids and even come into the house. I wasn't quite sure whether Sadie would behave. She did grab items off shelves, a habit I am trying to bring under control, but the dog interacted normally with the people in the house and that went very well. I was very grateful to have found a good home where Sadie felt comfortable staying. The dog-boarding went even better than I had expected! “I believe this was the first time Kendra watched a cat before. I was very pleased. She contacted me when she had questions/concerns when she felt Charlie wasn't eating the way she thought he should, which is huge! This was Charlie's first experience with dogs and he seemed to settle in well. They were calm with there 1st introduction which shows that they are well socialized. After the third day there it seemed that Charlie ruled the roost tormenting the dogs...made me chuckle 😃. I will definitely use her in the future!”

About: I've had cats pretty much my whole life. For the longest time, I preferred them over dogs! However, I'm to the point in my life where I love both dogs and cats equally. 🥰 When I worked at Ames Pet Resort in Ames, IA, they offered lodging for cats so I took care of many different kitties. From mean, to anxious, to super lovey dovey ones! I've also given them their medicines, though needles are a little tough for me with cats... but I'm very willing to learn! I currently have my own house cat and she's my little baby. 🥰 She loves to snuggle with me right away in the morning and right before bed. I got her from a farm down in Iowa and it took her a few days to get used to me and my dog, but once she was used to us, she was following us around the apartment everywhere! And now that I live in a house, she has a whole house to explore and a new kitty to play with! After I got Athena, I got her spayed and updated on her shots. She didn't like taking her medicine, but she let me do it anyway, which I was super thankful for at the time since I worked a lot at the time. I love to play with her whenever I get the chance, and my dog often joins us in play time. ❤️

About: I have some experience taking care of neighborhood dogs and cats, but most of my care experience comes from the animals I grew up with in my own home. I grew up with bigger dogs most of my childhood and even had a cat for a short time! I love all animals, big or small. I am a student who is quite involved on campus. I may have some availability during the day, but mostly in the evenings and on weekends. When at your place, I am comfortable taking your pups on walks, playing with them inside or outside, and doing really anything else they may need. I don’t have a regular 9-5 so most of my day is spent home with the pups. I have my dogs on a specific feeding/potty schedule but I am very flexible to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. I’m able to care for your pets pretty much however you need - feeding, walking, playing, or some light training. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

About: I have had a dog since middle school. I had a standard poodle, and now my family has a golden retriever. I have lived with roommates in college with a chocolate lab and a rescue puppy. I am currently in my hometown for the summer months and looking to earn a little money before grad school. I love dogs and have a lot of experience with a multitude of different dogs due to family, roommates, and friends. About: *Note I go by Danny, but Rachel is my legal name. And then my partner Morgan sometimes helps me out on my visits. About me: I have taken care of cats all my life, and when it comes to dogs I've babysat more than I can count. I love them all. I can handle gentle types. Even loud ones. Let me know if they need special commands or to be talked to. I love to talk personally with the animals and just be with them. :) This is my primary job for now, so I would be available whenever YOU want. I also work with my 3 lovely cats on a daily basis. If I have your pet at my home, they will mostly be just for walks. We could sit and watch TV at home, or maybe learn something new? I like to grow with the animal.
About: I strive to provide the care and professionalism that I need and expect to be provided to my own pets. Dogs are wonderful creatures that deserve proper love and attention integrated into their family life. I have experience with successful training of my own dog's basic obedience skills (sit, stay, heel, eat, touch, shake, etc). Have taken care of many other dogs, reptiles, and fish for people in my life. I am especially interested in helping reactive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. I work freelance so I set my own schedule for the most part. Completely flexible for clients needs. A few weeks of the year I'm booked for longer gigs but that is easily identifiable up front for potential clients. Care for clients is completely dependent on their needs and comforts. I will always defer to the client for what is needed for them and their environment. Open and honest communication is the foundation for care and comfortability.
About: Ive been taking care of animals, and children since a child! I currently own my own cat and a fish i’ve been caring for years now! I recently moved to St.Augusta Minnesota, while attending paramedic school in minneapolis. I just left my two year job for relocation and have a pet of my own. About: We've owned a wide variety of dogs since I was little. Taking care of them and helping care for others pets has always been a passion of mine. We recently had a litter of eleven puppies. From newborn to elderly I've helped train, care for, and love them all. I currently work full time but have evenings, Fridays, and weekends off. I enjoy taking evening walks and would love to make some new fur friends while doing so. I treat anyone's pet as if they are my own. “Kendra did a great job taking care of my dog. I would use her again if I was in the area. It was my first time using Rover so I was hoping for a good experience. I was a little discombobulated having packed late or a camping trip. Even though I forgot to leave my dog's dishes and supplement Kendra took it all into stride. With the missing supplement she contacted me and and made sure she understood how the medication my dog is on were given before I left my pup with her. Throughout the entire process she was communicative responding quickly to any questions I had. It was a good introduction to Rover.”

Crystal (the dog-sitter) said Sadie did well with the children and left the infants alone, so that went well. I was grateful Crystal allowed the dog to interact with the kids and even come into the house. I wasn't quite sure whether Sadie would behave. She did grab items off shelves, a habit I am trying to bring under control, but the dog interacted normally with the people in the house and that went very well. I was very grateful to have found a good home where Sadie felt comfortable staying. The dog-boarding went even better than I had expected! I really appreciate Crystal's kind and caring attitude toward the dog-boarding and will definitely look her up for Sadie the next time I need to find Sadie a place to stay.”

I am currently working full-time but with my scheduling I am able to build time around pets needs. Each day includes feeding, walks or playtime, and general check-ins to make sure they’re healthy and comfortable. I live in home with a fenced in yard. All animals are allowed in all rooms as well as furniture. I do have a crate if need be and two friendly doodles to keep your dog company with lots of toys to play with!

About: Animals have always been apart of my life growing up my parents bred English mastiff and pugs. I showed dogs in 4-H for 4 years and it really helped me amass so much knowledge. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and they hold a very special place in my heart. With us your senior will be in the best of hands. I don’t have a regular 9-5 so most of my day is spent home with the pups. I have my dogs on a specific feeding/potty schedule but I am very flexible to make your pup feel as comfortable as possible. I like to think I treat them as one of my one while keeping in mind if the owner has and rules or requests of their own.
