“Paige was great with my cat. I saw from the photos she sent that my cat really warmed up to Paige. My cat usually does not like to be around people she doesn't know. I highly recommend Paige and the Rover.com service.”

“Taylor was sooo sweet! I was worried my newer rescue kitty would not do well since she is still skeptical of strangers but she came right out during the intro visit so I was super relieved! She definitely is an animal lover which they can sense. I highly recommend her and will 100% use her in the future :)”

“Krista did a great job with our boys during drop in visits for a long weekend while we were out of town. She made sure they had food, water, and administered daily medications. Our boys enjoyed playing with her and she was respectful of our home. We will definitely look forward to using her in the future!”

About: My name is Ronda. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for years. I have also been a foster for a rescue group for years. Your animal will be taken care of and loved as if they were my own. I do not currently have any pets. I recently lost my 2 senior dogs. I have a large home and fenced in back yard. I also have a doggie door if that is something your dog is used to (if not, it will be closed up). They will have free roam of the house when I am gone or can be crated if that is what they prefer. I will take them for daily walks or hang with then on the couch. Meds, special diets, or any special needs will be addressed. I'll text updates and sends pictures. Whatever you and your furbaby want, I will accommodate. I accept dogs of any size.
“Christina did a fantastic job with Izzy,! I loved the photos she sent me! She is truly an animal lover and she went m over and above what she needed to do. I will have her back again.”

“Meghan was amazing. She completed every visit we requested and was able to accept 2 additional visits due to our delay in returning home. Meghan is very quick to respond to messages and sent wonderful pictures of our cats at each visit. Meghan allowed us to be away from our fur babies without worry about them.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child all the way up until middle age. And I truly enjoy every time I see a dog or a cat. They truly bring me joy and happiness. I am recently retired with a lot of free time and love the opportunity to spend it with dogs and cats of any kind 😍 I would consider using my home for my clients, but that is not my preference necessarily. I love the opportunity to make visits, do general care, including walking, feeding, bathing, and any other tasks

About: I treat every animal as if it were my own pet- with lots of love, care, and compassion. I’ve watched many many animals over the past couple years and have loved every second of it. I know how to give many types of medication to different animals as well. I am able to help out with any animal needs outside of my normal job. I always make sure they have what they need, get love, and get some energy out! I treat every animal as if it were my own. Lots of love and care go into every animal I watch/take care of. I take pride in giving pups the best vacation of their little lives🥰 During the summer I have a very open schedule which makes it easy for me to dog sit or dog walk anytime of the day. I do go on vacation a couple times but usually not for very long, I also have a part-time job at the moment which helps for a flexible schedule to help people and their pets! I am very attentive and loving towards my pets and others I have had in my care. I love being outside and playing with dogs, as well as being responsible for their needs and what the pet owner expects of me.
“Maya and her husband did a great job looking in on our sensitive little dachshund! The daily updates really helped us feel better about leaving our boy for a few days. Thanks, Maya!”
“Marie was a Godsend! I have never left my 2 cats but wanted to attend a wedding in Mexico. From the moment I met Marie, I knew my fur babies would be in good hands. She sent me pics twice a day and let me know how my girls were doing. Not only do I have a cat sitter, I have a new friend as well :) Marie is loving and responsible and I highly recommend her!!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Cydni S. Cydni did a phenomenal job with our 3 dogs! She was always sending pictures at every drop-in with a description of how they were doing. Our dogs needed medication daily and she had no problem with giving it, she even paid attention to our picky eater and made sure she attended to his needs. Cydni went above and beyond by getting a package left on the porch out of the rain and tiding up the house for us. We can tell that they received lots of love and care! I would use Cydni again and recommend her to someone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 398 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across North Jackson. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Jackson. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
