About: I have always had pets . I grew up helping my mother groom and take care of dogs. I would do anything for an animal. I am available all 24/7 everyday. I am willing to work any day of the week. I am availability because this is my only job, and I am passionate. I have been lucky enough to be raised with dogs my entire life. My family were breeders for standard poodles at one point, which was amazing to watch and learn about. I am no stranger to special needs, administering meds, able to provide short term care until help arrives. I love all dog breeds equally and will treat your dog like my own. This is my passion. I have 2 guest rooms that can be turned into private doggo apartments. If your pets need exercise I can provide. If they need relaxation, I love cuddles on the couch. We have crates of all sizes, beds for any size dog, dog gates for stairs, enough rooms to spread out and separate if needed, and live minutes away from a fenced in dog park. We live 3 minutes from 2 vet clinics and we use them for our own dogs. We have security cameras in the house with 2 way speakers if we need to step out for any reason. Please let us know about your dogs temperament with other dogs ahead of time. If your dog has special needs or quirks around certain people. We are happy to share our dogs food but would prefer food is delivered with the dog for stays. We are used to dogs that have a tendency to run if given the chance but appreciate heads up so we can be extra attentive.

“Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. We know the working world doesn’t always accommodate balancing out caring for our fur friends and work and would love to help with that! About: Your pet is treated as my own and a family member. Your fur baby is not crated unless you request that and provide the crate. Your pet gets to go outside and run and play several times a day. I go out and encourage playing and running for exercise. When the weather permits, we walk through the field and explore along the canal. If your pet is older and doesn't want to play or explore, that's ok. I have plenty of shaded areas for them to just lounge and take a snooze while I sit with them and read. I would love to share your fur babies with you. Must provide proof of all shot records (including Kennel Cough vaccine). I insist on a meet and greet to make sure that your fur baby is going to be a good match with our family. I do not board pit bulls (or pit mixes), German Shepherds, Rottweilers it any aggressive dogs for my safety as well as my pup. I am retired. I never leave your pups alone. If I need to run to the store, my husband is here with the pups. When the pups are outside, I'm outside work them. I have a large fenced in back yard and a standard poodle that would love to play with your pup/pups and keep them company. She loves having new playmates.

After high school, I would pet sit for teachers who went on vacation—and through word of mouth, became a regular on call sitter for 3 different homes with multiple pets. I have clinicals during the weekend but will be sure to block those days off when I get my schedule. I do not offer boarding for pets in my own home, since I live in an apartment, but am happy to do whatever you need to care for your little (or big) family members! All I need is instruction and I’ll take care of it.

About: I have taken care of animals for a long time. I’ve had 2 cats and 1 dog growing up. I also have a 2 year old dog here at home with me! Big or small animals I can do! Cats to dogs to farm animals! I can feed them, walk them, play with them, clean litter boxes, give them fresh water, anything that needs done I can do! I also can give medications! I believe every dog has its job and place and needs to be catered to accordingly and exercised and walked daily and I am here to help with that. “Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”
