About: PLEASE READ: I have started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and would like to grow it there rather than on Rover. If you are interested in hiring me, please search on Facebook or Google "Rachael's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting" or message me for the links, my website, or email. You can still read much of my current information here. I worked as a professional pet sitter for one of the biggest pet sitting companies in the Cleveland area for 2.5 years and have done pet sitting on my own since then. I have experience caring for many different types of animals of all ages and sizes. I have taken care of them when the owners were on vacation; feeding, giving medicine, walking, etc. I also do dog walking visits during the day for people who are at work or sometimes still home. I have had my own dogs, cats, and other small animals my whole life. I currently have a very part time remote job as a social media coordinator, and have recently started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and also do occasional freelance graphic design and photo editing. I am mainly looking to work in mornings and afternoons on weekdays, but can occasionally do nights and weekends too. I am available for daily dog walking in cities near Olmsted Falls, and can do occasional pet sitting in farther cities. I have professional experience caring for animals and being in client's homes. Before I worked as a pet sitter, I even cleaned houses for 4 years, while people were away, so I can be trusted in people's homes. I always make sure to hold a dog's leash tight, and make sure no pets get out when I come and go through a door. I also always make sure the door is locked when I leave. I will meet you and your pets before services begin to go over everything so I know exactly what to do and make sure the pets get to know me first.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on farm experience caring for multiple species, combined with over a year of professional kennel work. I’m confident handling a variety of temperaments and routines, and I have long-term references who have trusted me with their animals for years I provide pet care full time, which means I have consistent availability for drop-ins, walks, and extended stays. My flexible schedule allows me to prioritize your pet’s routine and be reliable when you need coverage. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I carefully follow all feeding instructions, medication schedules, and household routines exactly as provided. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and I never allow unsafe interactions with other animals. I respect your home as if it were my own — keeping it clean, secure, and organized while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to provide regular updates and photos so you always feel at ease.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve helped raise and train three dogs of my own, giving me real experience with everything from puppy energy to establishing good habits and routines. I’ve also been trusted to care for family and friends’ dogs since I was in 8th grade, so being responsible for others’ pets has been a part of my life for years. Dogs naturally gravitate toward me, and I truly believe they can sense how much I care for them. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. While I’m newer to working with cats, I’ve gained meaningful experience over the past few years and have grown to genuinely love and understand them as well. I take the time to respect each cat’s personality and needs, whether they’re playful or prefer a calmer approach. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring, capable hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I work in a sales position with extremely flexible hours, so I don’t have a set schedule and spend much of my day driving around. This allows me to easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, feedings, and last-minute requests throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to prioritize each pet’s needs, adjust visit times as needed, and provide attentive, dependable care without feeling rushed. I enjoy incorporating pet care into my routine and making sure every pet gets the time and attention they deserve. For drop-ins and walks, I prioritize safety, trust, and following each pet’s routine. I carefully follow owner instructions, use proper leash handling, and stay aware of our surroundings during walks. During drop-ins, I make sure pets are happy, well cared for, and their home is left exactly as I found it. I always provide updates and photos for peace of mind if requested!
“Madelyn did an excellent job for us with our 10-year-old German Shepherd. She was on time for every walk sent us pictures and kept us updated. If you need a great dog walker that gives good care to your dog I would highly recommend her. She also gave our dog her medicine every day. A+”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was able to walk, they are my passion with a career in wildlife rehabilitation in mind! I’m currently a parent of my very own dog, cat, and snake. Working with a variety of animals in my time has allowed me to grasp certain aspects of animals that allow for smoother interactions. I currently work 3 times a week, days depending on schedule. I work with dogs for a living. I’d like to take on clients especially on the days I don’t work for some extra money. I have experience with walking, crating, putting gear on safely, basic training, and much more. For cats I know how to safely get cats into carriers, administer topical and oral medications, basic first aid, noticing concerning behaviors, take care of accidents, scoop boxes, and much more.
