“Kristen is amazing!!! She needed to shovel her way in to feed our cats one night, *and* she had to clean up one of my forgetful messes, but Kristen stops at nothing to make sure our home and pets are well cared for! She also managed to befriend my very suspicious cats— no easy feat! Will definitely use Kristen again when needed! 🙌🙌”

About: For as long as I can remember I've been around animals and loved it. Growing up, my family had 2 medium sized dogs that I was responsible for helping walk and feed. Since then, I've had cats of my own to care for and have helped babysit many cats and dogs for my friends, family, coworkers, etc. I work full time during the week for a solar company so I am available for house visits on weekends and some week days after 6pm. When gaining an animals trust, I always take it at their pace. I do my best to adapt to individual needs and notice their usual habits in case of changes. Most importantly, I make sure they have a good balance between playtime, affection, and having their own space when needed.

“Lucille is everything you would want for pet care. She’s thorough, experienced & reliable. Even when I feel like I’m being over the top she will think of something I’m not! She’s so good with animals, your pet will sense her genuine affection & feel safe & loved. They are in good hands until your back.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life since I was a child—I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other pets, and I truly see them as family. I have two cats, Bleu and Theodore who are my absolute world, and I treat every pet I care for with the same love, patience, and attention as I give my own. What sets me apart from other sitters is my natural connection with animals and my commitment to creating a safe, calm, and happy environment tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. I have experience with a wide range of animals, including high-energy puppies, shy or anxious pets, and senior dogs and cats who need extra TLC. I’m reliable, intuitive, and attentive to small details—whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, recognizing signs of stress, or making sure your pet gets their favorite toy before bedtime. I go the extra mile to make sure your pet feels comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I’m here to make your pet feel at home even when they’re not! Right now, pet care is my top priority—I’m not working another job, so I have full availability to dedicate to your pets. This means I’m flexible with scheduling, whether you need early morning walks, midday check-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings. Because I’m not juggling other commitments, I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I’m here to make your life easier and your pet’s day happier—every single time! When caring for pets in your home, I stick closely to your routines to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for just like you’re there. I keep things tidy, follow any feeding or medication schedules, and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love. If your pet is staying at my home, I ask that you bring their crate, leash, food, and anything else that helps them feel secure and settled (like their favorite toy or blanket). I’ll make sure they have a cozy, clean space, regular walks, and lots of affection throughout their stay. Whether we’re out for a walk or having a quiet day inside, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, love, and care tailored to their personality and needs.

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for pets, I understand the unique needs of each furry friend. Whether it's providing daily walks, offering companionship, or ensuring they're fed and comfortable, I treat every pet like my own. My goal is to give both pets and their owners peace of mind, knowing their beloved companions are in loving, capable hands. My schedule is flexible and open anytime to accommodate your pet care needs. Whether it's a last-minute request or a planned visit, I'm here to provide reliable and caring service whenever it works best for you and your pets. Caring for my dog daily involves feeding them balanced meals, giving them regular exercise, and taking bathroom breaks. I also make sure to keep their mind engaged with playtime and provide plenty of affection. I groom them regularly, schedule vet check-ups, and ensure they have a safe, comfortable space to relax. Spending quality time together strengthens our bond, helping my dog stay happy, healthy, and well-cared for every day.

About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off for a couple years now, I’ve had dogs of varying ages and sizes and support needs as a part of my household throughout my life. My family volunteers with Big Wave Dog Rescue together and I work part time at Canine Odyssey as a dog daycare attendant. I’m currently working part time and caring for my mother, but since I work mostly evenings only 4-6 hour shifts, pet sitting and overnight stays are perfect for me. I have a big yard with three pups, a 3 year old pitbull mix, a 2 year old pittie chihuahua mix, and a one year old Shih Tzu. All of them are rescues, and the older one has some trauma from before he was rescued and requires special care. I feed them rehydrated kibble and try to get raw/natural toppers where I can, even if it’s just a quail egg. I exercise with them daily, even if it’s just a run through the yard.

About: Hello, My name is Sara. I am 28 years old and live in Quincy. I have a certified training in Animal Training and Pet Sitting from International Academy. I live with my husband, Nick who is a big dog lover too! I would love to care for your dog while you are gone. I will provide the love, care and safety of your furry friend. I have owned dogs my whole life. It will be my pleasure to care for your animal! Please know that I will be kind and gentle to your loving dog. I look forward to hearing from you about how I can help your family and your pet. Please contact me with inquiries. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

About: As a lifetime dog lover and owner, your dog will be in good hands here. I have fostered and provided basic training to over 14 puppies in the past year and I remain close with almost all of the adopters. I have two hound/ lab mix rescues - Spencer is 8 YO and Peaches is 7 MO. Both were rescued at almost 4 months old and both are neutered and spayed. Our household (me, my husband, our HS Senior, and our pups) loves dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperments. We (our dogs included) understand how to read cues and body language and respond appropriately. My promise to you and your fur babies are that they will have plenty of walks, indoor/ outdoor playtime, potty breaks as needed and as frequently as every 30 min, training and mental stimulation games, water, a comfortable space to rest, and as their health and well being are my top priority, they will have adult supervision at all times. I will only board dogs of the same household in my home at one time. The exception to this is if they are already known friends. Communication is important - tell me their likes, dislikes, known commands, feeding schedules, dietary/ physical restrictions, medication needs, etc. and I will ensure to follow the rules and schedules of your home. I will send plenty of updates and pics and if needed I am happy to give baths and nail trims — if they don't mind them. I guarantee your dogs will return home happy. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Training commands I practice regularly are sit, lay down, paw, wait, come, short leash training, and potty training. Spencer and Peaches have proven to be great trainers as well! During meet and greets or via messages I can share what I have for toys, treats, bath time shampoo, pet conditioner, nail trims, etc. I'm happy to use what you provide as well. My schedule is currently very flexible. The majority of my work is remote. As I work towards my next business venture, I would like to continue my passion of working with dogs using positive reinforcement. I have a large yard surrounded by woods in a quiet community. When dogs are in the yard they have leashes on them unless they have good recall as the yard is not fenced. I will always be outside with them with a pouch full of treats. I also have a gated porch to ensure dogs can enjoy time sitting on the porch and will not escape into the yard when we open the slider. Walks in the neighborhood and on trails are always on leash. If your dog is accustomed to the Chelmsford dog park, I would be happy to bring them there as well once I get to know them. I use adjustable doggy seatbelts while driving. I will only bring two dogs max. Feeding schedule is two or three times per day depending on each dogs schedule. They will eat alongside of my dogs or they can have their own space to eat without distractions. I have two large crates with a divider to create a smaller space if needed. Most dogs have full access to the main first floor. The upstairs is available to fully trained dogs after getting to know them better. I have multiple gates to block access to rooms when needed. I get to know all dogs I board by communicating with their owners and with close frequent observation. I ere on the side of caution, test in small increments in safe quiet settings, building trust and increasing freedom accordingly with the best intentions to ensure their safety and security. New high value dog bones are prohibited while boarding. I have plenty of safe, dog friendly bones and toys here that I'm sure will keep your pup(s) happy.

About: I used to work at a pet grooming place where I got experience with all different types of dogs (and cats). I also have plenty of experience working with farm animals of all types and even exotics like birds, reptiles, and primates. I moved to Massachusetts in August of 2024. I love animals and I only work part-time so I am happy to help out here on Rover! I will make sure to attend to any needs and help to prevent any potty accidents. I will also make sure your dog gets the right amount of exercise.

About: Hi there! I am a college student eager to meet your fur-babies since I miss mine at home! I have had many pets such as dogs, cats, horses, and small animals! I can administer medication to your pets, as my own cat became disabled a couple years ago. I cannot wait to be the extended family of your fur-babies! For this summer session, I have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-5:20pm and remote class on Mondays and Wednesday from 1:30-5:20. This will end August 13th and my schedule will be completely open! At my home, I have a fenced yard for my dogs and cats to go outside. I play with them outside and inside the house, making sure they get their zoomiez out (since it's fun to watch and fun for them).

About: I am a dog lover who has dogs my whole adult life. I have many friends and neighbors with dogs of all sizes that I have spent time with and babysat as needed! I am an elementary teacher with availability on weekends and during the summer I have much greater daily availability. I have a 5 year old friendly and submissive lab mix. Our house is like a home away from home for visiting pets!! I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly 5 year old lab mix who is always looking to meet and welcome new friends. I am an avid walker and used to walking 2 dogs at time.

About: My family has always had at least one cat or dog, so I have grown up with these wonderful animals as well as learned how to care for them with walking, feeding, cleaning, playing, etc. I am familiar with the body language of dogs and cats and want to provide a fun and safe experience for them while taking into account their unique temperaments and personalities. I treat every dog and cat like the beloved family member that I know they are. I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a lot of availability! I would love to fill my time by getting to know your pet(s). I will treat your pets and your home with the utmost respect. I want to be an asset that will unobtrusively care for your animals in and outside your home. I know and honor how important every animal is in their family's life.

“Cheyenne did a great job dropping in on our cats and was very communicative! She was very active with our more playful cat ,but still was patient and provided a calming presence for our shy one. Would recommend and would use her services again!”

Katie F.
“Katie is a very kind and responsible person who loves animals, as is evident by the care she provides for her own 2 (spoiled!) cats at home, and how she interacts with others' pets. Katie is also very trustworthy and super considerate; she has always taken the time to send a text with a picture to let me know how my cats are doing. She has been consistently punctual, which is really important in my case, given that one of my cats gets *wild* if her dinner is late... I would absolutely recommend Katie as a pet caregiver! She is reliable and friendly, maintains contact with the pet owner, and genuinely cares about the happiness and wellbeing of the animals she encounters.”

He is also very responsive and is always available!”

Ava L.
“Ava cared for my dog and cats while I was away for a few days. I was quite nervous about leaving my pets as I don’t travel often, but Ava did a wonderful job and allowed me to have a worry free trip. Ava sent many updates throughout the trip and was very responsive to my replies. Ava was always very transparent and honest about how the stay was going. I know my pets can be a handful with their feeding schedules and demands that their routines not be interrupted, which is why I was nervous about leaving them, but Ava did a great job respecting their schedules and needs. My dog and cats were all in great spirits when I returned.”

North Chelmsford dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can't recommend Sarah highly enough! From the very first meeting, it was clear they truly love animals and treat every dog like their own. Our senior dog, Conall, absolutely loves Sarah's visits and waits by the door when she arrives tail wagging, ready for his treat! Sarah exceeded our expectations, whether it’s pulling briars off Conalls back, refilling water bowls, or giving us a quick update/picture during the visit. We’ve seen such a positive attitude in our dog's behavior and happiness since we started. Please don't hesitate to trust Sarah with your dog or cat's care!

We loved having Julia for drop-in visits for our two dogs! One of our dogs, Chip, was recently adopted (<1 week), so we were nervous leaving him, but Julia took such good care of them and it gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. She was also very flexible with our different needs, such as feeding at evening drop-ins, followed all the instructions, was very responsive and sent lots of photos of each visit, which helped me worry less about Chip. I would definitely recommend Julia to care for your fur babies!
