“Excellent sitter for my 8 year old and 2 1 year old Rottweiler puppies. Mya is a loving and compassionate person. She followed my special instructions to the tee and was especially great with my youngest puppy with epilepsy as one of the 7 dogs in her own household also has epilepsy. I couldn't have asked for a better person than Mya for my last minute booking while I had surgery. Will definitely use her repeatedly! Highly recommend.”

“Jenny stayed in our home taking care of our 2 dogs - one dog is recuperating from a leg injury and she did a great job ensuring our girl got her exercise and rest. Jenny is dependable and communicates regularly. Highly recommend!”

“Emma stayed with my cat Patrick for a week while I was in another state for work. Patrick needs some special attention and takes daily medication. She did a great job making sure he was taking care of and comfortable! Additionally, she communicated with me well and made sure to send me some pictures every day!”

“Samantha came to my rescue after my original house sitter had a family emergency. She took wonderful care of my dog Eddy and my cat Lily. Both pets were relaxed and content when I returned home. I would definitely have Samantha sit with my pets again!”

“This was our first time using a service like this and we chose someone close in our neighborhood. Evan took excellent care of our dogs Jacko and Jace. He gave us periodic updates on how his week is going and send photos boys smile of the boys smiling. We would definitely recommend him to housesit and care for your pets while you’re on vacation or away and we will definitely use them in the future.”

“This is the second time we’ve used Lulu. And we are so thankful she agreed and was available to look after our three pups. Lulu updated me on the dogs twice a day, took the dogs for a walk, played with them and followed all of the instructions I left for her. We are so lucky we have found her! I highly recommend.”

“Adrianna was great with our dog and cats while out of town! We were a bit nervous at first since our dog is pretty nervous about new situations but we got lots of updates and pictures to calm our worries. Our pets were all happy to see us when we got back and it was obvious they were all very well looked after while under Adrianna’s care.”

“Karrie was fantastic! She stayed in our home, which helped our dogs feel comfortable and relaxed right away. She kept them on their usual routine, so we never had to worry while we were away. She was also a wonderful house guest and even washed dishes and bedding before she left. We couldn't have asked for better care and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kelsey has watched my dog Charlie for several trips of varying lengths and always done an excellent job. I know I am leaving my pet in trustworthy and caring hands. She provides consistent updates and accommodates any requests, and goes above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable.”

“Rachel did an amazing job with our dogs. We were able to enjoy our vacation, knowing she was taking such good care of them. We got daily updates, with pictures. She gladly brought in mail and watered plants for us. She is very accommodating and fit us in to her schedule. She was able to pop in for 3 afternoons visits before her time here started when our son wasn’t able to get here during the day to let them out. We will definitely be calling her for future jobs! She’s a gem!!”

“Erin was fantastic! We had severe storms while we were away and Erin was conscientious enough to watch the sump pump and take care of the patio furniture so it wouldn't get blown away too. We were grateful for that!! She took several amazing photos of our dog and communicated daily. We will definitely use her services again in the future. She has a very sweet personality too!!”

“Kaitlin is phenomenal! She took excellent care of our fur babies while we were traveling. She followed instructions and reached out with extra considerations. We felt secure knowing our pups (and home) were in good hands. We would absolutely recommend her to others.”

About: Hello! I have always had pets throughout my entire life, and currently have 2 very fluffy kitties! I have 5 years of childcare experience, 3 of which are in home caretaker/house manager. I enjoy taking care of littles, especially ones with fur! I am currently working part time, which gives me the flexibility to take on pet sitting gigs, most days of the week. I have a very trusty toyota camry as well to get me to where I need to go! I have two cats in my home, they are both girls and both think they are the queen of the house. I prioritize a healthy diet for them, as well as lots of play time to stimulate them and help them get the exercise they want and need.
“Maryn is amazing! She took great care of my boy while I was away for the week. I appreciated her updates and communication while I was away and will definitely reach out again for her services in the future.”

“Mary did a great job caring for our dogs while we were out of town. We will definitely be using her again and appreciate her help especially at last minute. Thank you Mary!!”

“Abby is wonderful and I would highly recommend her. We did an initial meet and greet and I immediately felt comfortable with her. We were gone for 11 days and Abby stayed at our home with our 5 pound Yorkie. We choose an in home sitter because our dog has major separation anxiety. Abby sent us daily updates and pictures and our dog was living her best life as usual!! We already have our next stay scheduled with Abby.”

North Blue Ridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
It was such a relief knowing Samantha was at our home caring for our dogs while we were away. She shared photos of the dogs that showed how happy they were, and she seemed to truly enjoy spending tune with them! When unexpected heavy rains hit, she made sure that ask us where towels were to clean off paws. She even mopped the house prior to leaving, going above and beyond our expectations! We definitely recommend Samantha for in-home care of your pets. We hope to book with her again in the future!

Jasmine was an incredible sitter for my baby boy Xander-he truly means everything to me, so trusting someone with his care is a big deal. She paid close attention to every detail and was extremely attentive to all of his needs. I was out of town for 7 days, and Jasmine consistently sent plenty of photos and thoughtful updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. She truly goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone who has a fur baby they love and want in the best hands!

Evan is an absolute cat whisperer. We left town for two weeks, and normally on our vacations one of our two cats is so upset that he won’t even come out of the basement. He doesn’t generally take to new people, either. By the end of the trip, both of our cats were cuddling Evan like old friends. Booking him for our vacation gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you so much, Evan!!!
