“Taryn was soo great with our two dogs. She was very responsive and always on top of taking care of both of our dogs. We couldn't be more happy and content about leaving our two dogs with her.”

“This is the second time we’ve used Lulu. And we are so thankful she agreed and was available to look after our three pups. Lulu updated me on the dogs twice a day, took the dogs for a walk, played with them and followed all of the instructions I left for her. We are so lucky we have found her! I highly recommend.”

“Jennifer’s pet and house sitting service was great. She communicated very well, both before and during her stay. She provided both photos and updates each day. Would definitely book her again.”

“First time having Jenna to the house with two pups who take a while to warm to people. Then we get hit with a record breaking snowstorm that meant more days than planned and Jenna goes above and beyond to make sure my girls and my home are well taken care of. I am so thankful for Jenna! Wonderful ⭐️”

“Rachel did an amazing job with our dogs. We were able to enjoy our vacation, knowing she was taking such good care of them. We got daily updates, with pictures. She gladly brought in mail and watered plants for us. She is very accommodating and fit us in to her schedule. She was able to pop in for 3 afternoons visits before her time here started when our son wasn’t able to get here during the day to let them out. We will definitely be calling her for future jobs! She’s a gem!!”

“This was our first time using a service like this and we chose someone close in our neighborhood. Evan took excellent care of our dogs Jacko and Jace. He gave us periodic updates on how his week is going and send photos boys smile of the boys smiling. We would definitely recommend him to housesit and care for your pets while you’re on vacation or away and we will definitely use them in the future.”

“We had never used Rover before as we were hesitant to leave our babies with strangers. I chose Abby from reading her great reviews. She did an amazing job with our 2 dogs and cat. We knew they’d been well taken care of by the way they acted when we got home. She communicated well and sent daily pictures. She stayed at our home and even washed and made the bed! She left our home great. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have two fur babies of my own so I relate to the stress of finding the perfect sitter. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and caring for them has become a true passion of mine. Ace is a rescue who taught me the importance of trust and patience. Maple I have raised since she was 3 months old. Through my experience I’ve learned how to help a timid rescue dog feel safe, or keeping an energetic pup happily engaged. From daily walks, training, cuddles, and maintaining a routine I understand every dog has their own personality/needs and I love getting to know what makes each one special! At the moment I am only a part time student, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby and/or babies! Rest assured! When caring for a pet in your home my goal is to keep them comfortable, safe and happy! I’ll learn your routines including feeding times, walks, any medications or special instructions. I’ll take time to build trust so your pet will feel relaxed. You can count on regular updates and photos. I love getting to know your dogs personality and what makes them unique. I will treat your babies like family making sure they feel loved while also respecting the space of your home.
About: I love cats and dogs!! I would love to hang out with your animals and care for them like they were my own while you’re away! :) I have some classes during the day so I will have all night and most afternoons to hang with your furry one! Lots of walking time! I have had dogs and cats my whole life so I know how to play with them and keep it safe and efficient! I love a good walk and fetch session
“Adrianna is amazing! She was very easy to get in touch with and is very knowledgeable about animal care. She sent pictures and updates daily. I will absolutely request her in the future!”

“Excellent sitter for my 8 year old and 2 1 year old Rottweiler puppies. Mya is a loving and compassionate person. She followed my special instructions to the tee and was especially great with my youngest puppy with epilepsy as one of the 7 dogs in her own household also has epilepsy. I couldn't have asked for a better person than Mya for my last minute booking while I had surgery. Will definitely use her repeatedly! Highly recommend.”

“Pamela was great! She was responsive via text and left the house in perfect shape. We felt reassured knowing our pups were in good hands while we were away for a whole week!”

North Blue Ridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
Evan is an absolute cat whisperer. We left town for two weeks, and normally on our vacations one of our two cats is so upset that he won’t even come out of the basement. He doesn’t generally take to new people, either. By the end of the trip, both of our cats were cuddling Evan like old friends. Booking him for our vacation gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you so much, Evan!!!

Johnny, Georgie and myself were very happy and pleased with Jasmine. They were taken care of as I would have and loved with lots of cuddles! She left my house nice and clean and left everything in its place. I will definitely keep jasmine on my "Yes" list for future needs. I absolutely would recommend Jasmine knowing she loves our fur babies and would treat them like they are her own! Thank you!

First time leaving our senior diabetic cat and he warmed up to Adrianna so quickly. She updated us regularly and included pictures which we appreciated so much! We also appreciated being able to meet her before booking. Will be re-booking whenever we go away as we now know we have someone we can trust with our fur baby and our home.
