“Marco really went above and beyond! I was out of the country with limited time to check in and upon my return the sheets and couch blankets were washed and the dogs were perfectly happy. I would definitely trust him to take care of them again.”

Angela D.

“Angela is very kind and compassionate, she did a great job caring for our fur babies. She transported two of them back and forth to daycare while we were gone so they could maintain their regular routine and she made sure everyone got their medications as scheduled. Highly recommend her, will definitely use her again.”

About: I have pet sat for friends and family during summers since I was in middle school, and my wife and I have fostered dogs and cats from KC pet project. I’m a full time Highschool math teacher. I started working with Rover summer of 2022 to get to work during the summers on something I’m as passionate about during the rest of the year. I originally planned on it just being a summer job, but have loved getting to make new furry friends! As a teacher, my summers are very flexible. I’m working on curriculum and some professional development hours this summer, but most of these trends can be moved around on the schedule and aren’t time sensitive. During the school year, I’ll only be available some weekends and sporadically in the evenings. Daily I take care of my own dog with a walk and meal before heading out for the day, the returning for Some play time with toys/puzzles and just family time in the living room together. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog. I love taking my dog on walks and playing fetch, but he’s getting older and I often have more energy than he does. Good behavior should be reinforced, with praise, pets, and treats (when appropriate for their diet). When caring for cats, I find care to vary much more depending on disposition, and I’ll rely on care instructions left for me.
