About: Hi! I'm a dog-loving teacher who has rescued and adopted many dogs in my lifetime. I have a dog at home: Gracie Lou, a 13 year-old pit-mix. I would love to be able to lend a hand to anyone else who knows the trouble of finding someone to watch the fur-kids when they travel. I usually rescue Seniors, so I understand the unique needs they sometimes have. Additionally, I have been involved with pit bull rescue and have a love and appreciation for the bully breeds. I have lived in Saratoga for 9 years and know all of the dog-friendly and accessible places to visit. If my schedule works for you, let me help! During the summer, I am available for walks during the week and on the weekend. When the fall begins, I have limited evening availability and average availability on the weekends. Occasionally, I am able to take in a dog or two for overnight stays, but generally, I will stay overnight at a client’s home. I will make sure that your dogs are loved and cared for.

About: I can care for puppies, and give special tender-loving care to senior or disabled dogs. I am skilled at reinforcing training and giving snuggles. Whether your pet needs just a check-in or you'll be out of town for up to week, I will make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and well cared for. My dogs have all been special needs, from my last dog: Rowan, Mini Aussie pup that we got from a little farm who had anxiety, to my first dog Abby who had hip dysplasia. All dogs are welcome in my care. I have a strong arm (even if I don't look like it) and will always give the best doggie care I'm able to! About: My grandfather and mother both have an animal science background so I was raised with a knowledge of animals and how special they are from a very early age. Because of this, I care deeply for the well being of your pet and treat it as my own. I think dogs represent the best of human kind. I believe that animals, specifically dogs have an innate power to heal and connect that is awe-inspiring. This ability I witnessed first hand growing up with a golden retriever and a German shepherd, the later becoming a therapy dog and certified pet partner for my family. Lastly, I have taken care of dogs of all ages and breeds from 1 month to 16 years, from 15-130+lbs, and done some by house sitting, walking, and boarding. I love all dogs, but am partial to bigger ones because that it was I grew up with since age 10. I currently work full time so I am available after or before business hours during the weekdays (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) or anytime on the weekends to walk, visit with or house/dog sit. I can commute from anywhere in the metro Portsmouth region so dog/house-sitting is something I can do any day, most weeks. I will do my best to make your dog feel like nothing has changed in their own space (your home). On walks and during play visits, I will make sure they are comfortable, constantly watching body language for anxiety, fear, and exhaustion, etc. and will let their behavior dictate the pace, duration, where we go, and when bathroom breaks are needed. I treat walk and play time as their time and I am just there to make sure they have the most enjoyable time possible, while protecting their safety and health.

About: I’ve had animals of every kind since I was a kid. I grew up with 1 cat and 1 dog. I currently have my own 2 cats and 2 dogs. They are my babies! I do work full time at a bank job! So I do have those bankers hours but I would be 100% available for your animals when not at work! I can easily follow the normal of your animals routine. If they love rides I have a backseat sling and we can go to parks or for pupcups.
