About: I have hosted dogs for over 15 years and have experience with many breeds. My dog Harvey was a member of Therapy Dog International. I believe that the key to well-behaved dogs is plenty of exercise so aside from wrestling and chasing, we go for long walks preferably off-leash. Our home is on the Mohawk River so water loving dogs get to swim. I take care of dogs full time. I live on a dead end street so we can take frequent short walks. We also go to the dog park. Every dog has unique qualities that require special attention and care. I watch for fear-based reactions and avoid certain situations or help to overcome anxiety.

About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. About: I've been surrounded by animals since as far back as I can remember. I grew up with great danes, snakes, birds, and rats, among others.
