About: I’ve been the primary care taker of my dog. I have also dog sat multiple times for 4 different dogs, three of which are in the same household. I’m currently working part-time at tacobell, and I’m still in high-school, but for the summer I am mainly working from around 930/10 to about 5/530, this will definitely change when school starts back up though! I would like to work more at other peoples houses due to my own dog being territorial.. I can take the dogs out for walks (Maybe take them on a trail if that’s alright) or I can let them into the backyard if that’s what is preferred. I will also pick up the dog’s poop (I’ll bring my own poop bags and will throw it away in the outside garbage can).

About: Hello owners! I'm Melanie and I've had cats & dogs in my life for well, my entire life! My best friend was a German Shepard I got for Valentines day as a little girl. You'll know I'm the right sitter for you once your dog meets me, and you too of course. Your pet will be beyond comfortable here. There is plenty of space to walk and run around with your dog, or just lounge around cat style with the cats. (Don't worry about their paws being burned on a walk during a hot day! On days too hot I wouldn't want my bare feet on the pavement either so of course I wouldn't allow your dog to do that. There's grass here for a reason!) Your pet is allowed all over the house and even allowed to sit on the couch and enjoy some snuggle time, or if they're tired take a nap on the other end of the couch snuggled up with their favorite toy. Need to take certain medication? Certain walk schedule, a bath maybe? Anything and everything I will do to make your pet feel as comfortable as if they were home and to give you peace of mind. I respect animals greatly and am not one to judge for any breed, looks, injury, ect. Since I was recently laid off I have all the time in the world to give to your furry companion. They will fit into my routine perfectly. Wake up, bathroom, wash up and eat breakfast. Then it's hours of play time! Going for walks, playing fetch or tug of war. Whatever they like to do the most, we'll do it! Of course having water throughout the day. We have to stay hydrated!). Have dinner and start to unwind and settle down as the day comes to an end. There are three doors that need to be opened for anyone to even get out of the house, so no escapes are happening here! I have a very large backyard that is secluded from the road and any other neighbors. We live in a smoke free home. Your pet undoubtedly will feel safe and secure here. No matter what I have to do, I will do it to help ease the stress of being away from mom or dad.

I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

I spend my days Tuesday-Saturday bathing and grooming neighborhood dogs then go home to love on my own German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix and Tabby cat! My experience also includes my feline friends, most often multi-cat homes, for regular feeding, oral medication administration, ear ointment, litter box cleaning, and, you guessed it, playing! I currently work at a grooming salon in Milton Tuesday-Saturday, so on those days I am available to love on your pets in the morning before I go to work and in the evening! On Sundays and Mondays, I can come for a visit during the mid-day hours. Your pets safety and comfort are of the utmost importance to me, I take any time necessary to ensure your pet's comfortable with me being inside their home, even if I exceed the typical 30m or 60m visit length! Working at a grooming salon, I have honed my skills with dog body language so I know when your pups are upset. My experience with cats has also taught me when the kitties aren't happy as well! Meet & Greets are a necessary part of the booking process to ensure everyone's safety over the course of a booking. All bookings that include a dog are required to have a one-time complimentary Meet & Greet prior to booking. Dogs are careful about the humans they trust, espcially with their parents gone, so I'd like to make friends with you present! Other bookings that only include cats are not required to have a Meet & Greet prior to booking but you are more than welcome to request one! Any additional Meet & Greets that are requested beyond the initial complimentary Meet & Greet will be booked at the drop-in rate listed on my profile. At the first visit, slow and quiet are the name of the game, I take my time going about their routine so they can get used to me! After my tasks are done, it's my goal to make them as comfy as possible by offering them their favorite toys and treats at their own pace. By the end of the booking, my aim is to be your pets new best friend and your go-to sitter!
About: Aside from my 3 personal pets, I have raised 4 Seeing Eye dogs and pet sat for over a dozen families. I have experience in dog first aid, potty training, and reactive dogs. Socialization is important and I have the knowledge on how to do so safely for each individual dog. All breeds of dogs are welcome. I work from home and am available 24/7. I love being able to take the dogs on either long walks or a quick potty break. I have a fenced in yard and a crate available for any size dog. I have a fenced in backyard so they would get plenty of room to run and play. I have experience giving meds pills or shots, giving baths, walks, working with puppies or elderly dogs. About: I have 15 years experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Dog and human aggression ect…) If dogs are boarding in my home they must be crate trained and/or fully dog and cat friendly. We can always work something out, message me! I do not board cats but would be happy to stop by and spend some time with them. I’m home full time right now! I may go out for a couple hours for dog walking, but other than that someone is always here. We have a spare room if they need their own space. We have lots of experience fostering and crate/ rotate. We always make sure to spend equal quality time with each dog. If I am caring for your pets at your home I will spend the night there with them.
