“Adrianna went above and beyond my expectations! Ruby and Pearl are so well adjusted I’m not sure they missed me. Adrianna did everything I asked in caring for the girls food, water, attention, litter box and my home is clean as the day I left! She updated me daily while I was away so I could see how happy Ruby and Pearl were while I was on vacation. This means a lot so I was able to relax. I would highly recommend Adrianna!”

“Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease caring for Jackson & Julius during our daughter’s wedding celebration. I was grateful for the updates and pictures shared. I highly recommend Charlotte and this service.”

“The best! The boys loved Julianna and warmed up to her right away! She is super experienced with all different dogs from all walks of life! Felt so comfortable with her watching over the boys! Would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter.”

“Gillian was a lifesaver for me and my girls as I had to go away for about two weeks. She provided daily updates, pictures, and made sure the girls were well taken care of! I 100% recommend her and will reach out to her again if I need another sitter!”

About: I grew up caring for cats and dogs and have always had a genuine love for animals. I have the most experience caring for medium-sized dogs, including helping care for Labs, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Blue Heelers. I also have extensive experience caring for cats. I have cared for a variety of cats over the years, including staying overnight to provide care, administering medication, and following special dietary needs. I have personally cared for three cats over the past 10 years, giving me years of experience understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I am comfortable providing attentive, loving care and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Most of my experience is with family and friend's animals but since having a baby I am looking to fill my day with caring for other's animals even walking dogs during the day. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available for pet care throughout the day. I am especially flexible for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, and providing companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I am happy to work with your schedule and their individual routine. I am comfortable providing attentive, reliable care for pets with a variety of needs and personalities. I can administer medications, take dogs for walks, follow specific feeding schedules and dietary instructions, and carefully follow any routines or instructions provided by pet parents. I understand that every pet is different, and I make it a priority to respect their individual personalities, boundaries, and comfort levels. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or simply enjoys their own space, I provide patient, loving care while making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

I am very passionate, communicative, respectful, and flexible sitter. I am currently working a full time job but work remote 3 out of 5 work days. This allows me to be fully attentive to your dog on those remote days. I’m also available during the weekends and in the evenings! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pooches company. With that being said, I can easily separate them as well if need be. Additionally at a clients home, communication, making your dog comfortable, and safety are my number one priorities.

“I can’t recommend Taylor highly enough! She took wonderful care of my dog, cat, and even my hermit crabs while I was away. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands. She kept me updated with regular messages and adorable photos, which really put my mind at ease. All of my pets were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s not easy finding someone you can fully trust with your animals, but Taylor is truly one of a kind. I’ll be booking her again!”

As a proud Golden Doodle and cat owner, I know how important it is to give animals love, patience, and consistency. I bring the same care to your pets as I do my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and part of the family. With years of experience and genuine passion, I provide more than just walks and boarding — I provide peace of mind. As a lifelong animal lover and full-time educator, I bring both responsibility and compassion to pet care. I have a Golden Doodle, a cat, and years of experience with animals of all kinds. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. When boarding with me, your dog will enjoy a safe, fenced-in yard and the companionship of my friendly Golden Doodle. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. I love taking care and helping animals, I used to work at red bank vet and I currently am a part time orthodontic assistant! I am pretty flexible! My hours do change weekly but I would love to discuss and make it work for you and your pets needs! I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs and 2 cats to play with. About: I’m an experienced dog owner - I’ve had my own special needs deaf dog that I’ve taken care of for 3 years since he was a puppy. Sadly he is no longer with me, but that means I can dedicate myself to other peoples fur babies and it gives me a lot of joy to be able to do that again on a part time basis. I have experience with puppies, obedience and behavior modification training (I am not a professional trainer, but I have worked with one and have taught my own dog basic obedience using hand signals), giving medication as necessary, and adaptability at handling anxiety and reactivity (as this was my dog). I’ve learned the body language of dogs a lot more than many other dog owners because of what I went through with my dog and I am happy to help if I can while your pup is in my care. Before getting my dog, I also watched and walked one of my neighbors dogs regularly. I’ve also done in-home dog sitting for some friends on several occasions for days at a time. I love dogs very much and will treat yours like it’s my own! I’m currently in between jobs and looking for recurring care, hence my open availability. For new clients that need one-time care, I am usually available on weekends. I’m currently in an apartment which may not be the most ideal, though it is pet friendly, so it might only be a good option for day sitting smaller dogs. Otherwise, I can come and sit dogs at your residence. I’ll walk your dog every 2-4 hours. I can also take them to parks/dog parks or runs for exercise if you are comfortable with that.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
