About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 8 for neighbors and friends. I live on a farm and have cared for prettt much any animal you can think of. I am very experienced and genuinely love animals and caring for them. I’m always happy to play or just snuggle! I am a college student with a lot of random free time! I am home for the summer and working part-time looking for some extra work. I LOVE animals and would spend every second with them if I could! I have 3 dogs at home, and I am used to giving commands and getting dogs to listen. I give lots of attention and play time, but also love giving pets and cuddles.

Julia was absolutely amazing! She left the cutest little notes and sent pictures. She even asked if she can switch leaches instead of just doing so. My dog loved her from day one. She was always on time and even payed attention to my dog being to hot so she cut the walk short instead of pushing him to walk more. She noticed everything about him which was so heartwarming. She is so sweet. I even had to schedule her back to back and she was able to do fit that in to her schedule and it was very late notice! I highly recommend Julia! She will for now always walk my fur baby!

About: Hi! I worked at a local vet office for 2 years helping with boarding, care while in room, walking dogs and providing love and care. I have also owned a dog or dogs since I was 10. I adore animals and will treat your family’s sweet pet as my own. I currently work from home and have flexible availability to come and go to better assist families. I am available at all hours that are needed. My current pet, Jack, is walked multiple times daily. We only crate when we leave. I am offering dog walking services. I am aware on how to safely walk dogs in their familiar areas. I am aware of how to harness and walk dogs of all sizes and safely return to the home. If the family has preferences for crating or putting away in certain rooms, I will follow directives on how properly place your loved animal away safely until you return home.

Shelley is a champion pet sitter pro. I can't even find words to describe how awesome she is except that I view her as a "minister" to our very-sensitive wheaten terrier, and she takes her job very seriously. She has our highest recommendation.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because dogs are already a central part of both my personal and professional life. As a certified dog trainer and owner of KinetiK9 Dog Training, I structure my schedule around the care, exercise, and enrichment of dogs every day. This allows me to provide reliable, attentive care while ensuring each pet receives the attention, exercise, potty breaks, and companionship they need. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life and have provided pet sitting services for family and friends since 2020. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, recognizing behavioral cues, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for every dog. I currently care for my own dog, Tessa, and have experience with dogs of varying ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. My hands-on experience includes caring for large and independent breeds such as German Shepherd/Akita mixes and Shiba Inus. Through regular pet sitting, I’ve become comfortable managing multi-dog households, administering feeding schedules, reinforcing established training routines, and providing enrichment through play, walks, and positive interactions. I’ve also lived with multiple dogs throughout college, giving me extensive experience adapting to different personalities, obedience levels, and exercise needs. I have experience supporting basic training, including house training, crate training, leash manners, and positive reinforcement techniques. Whether your dog is highly active, prefers a slower pace, or needs consistency with an existing routine, I strive to provide dependable care that helps pets feel secure while you’re away. Pet care is a regular part of my daily life. As a lifelong dog owner and experienced pet sitter, I’m used to planning my routine around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m currently a student in a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program, which has strengthened my time management skills and attention to detail. I have clinical rotations on Mondays and Tuesdays and classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8–10 a.m., so I’m generally available most afternoons, evenings, Fridays, and many weekends with advance notice. I only accept bookings that fit comfortably within my schedule to ensure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In my clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, crate routines, and any training cues or household rules. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, leashes, and collars before going outside and make sure pets are supervised during playtime and interactions with other animals. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take time to build trust at their pace—whether they need extra playtime, a calm environment, or a little extra patience. As an MLT student, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for while they’re away.

About: Hi! I'm Ben, and dogs have been the best part of my day for as long as I can remember. I've cared for everything from tiny seniors with medical needs to high-energy big breed pups who love to chew. I treat every dog and cat like one of my own and I'm excited to give your pet the same love I do to my mine! I work from home full time, which means your dog gets near-constant company rather than being left alone for hours. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so I can keep up with feeding times, regular potty breaks, walks, and play without rushing. Rover's "Safety, trust & environment" section is where owners decide whether to actually hand you their dog, so it should be concrete and specific rather than reassuring fluff. Here's a blurb covering the full range of services, with placeholders for your details: Safety is the first thing I think about with every dog in my care. For boarding, my home has an acre yard with no busy roads nearby, and I keep dogs leashed and under close watch any time we're outside or in a new environment. I stick closely to feeding routines, medication schedules, and any instructions you give me. There is no improvising with your dog's care. You'll get photo and video updates at every visit, so you always know your dog is safe and happy. If anything ever seems off, you'll hear from me right away.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Norene. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Norene.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Norene. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
