John has been so incredibly wonderful with my dog Izzy. She's a rescue and very skittish around new people, especially around men, and he has been so patient and understanding with her. Always willing to meet her where she is. Since he started walking her, she's gotten a bit better around men and doesn't bark as often when people walk by the house! It's been amazing. It's only been about a week or two, but he's been very reliable and consistent, and always keeps me informed if anything comes up or changes. Highly, highly recommended!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11yo. I’ve cared for Australian Shepherds, Poodles, Rat Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Papillions, Irish Wolfhounds and more. I have four dogs now: German Shepherd Mix, German Shorthaired Pointer, and two Pembroke Corgis. I’m familiar with small and large dogs. I’m non-judgmental and understanding if your baby has separation-anxiety. I’m currently looking for work so am completely open to do drop-ins during the day, walks, and more. I can also watch your dog at your place or mine! I have a fully-fenced in yard and four dogs who would love a playmate. I have two kennels, and can kennel your dog if need be. I also offer baths depending on length of stay.

Charity was awesome. My pups loved her and their daily walks. She was in constant communication and updated us with pictures. This was my first Rover experience. It was so nice to know that while away, my pups were still being taken care of. I highly recommend Charity!!!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and other animals for over 18 years, and it’s truly something I love doing. Throughout that time, I’ve had the opportunity to care for puppies, senior dogs, and every age and personality in between. From daily walks and feeding schedules to bathing, playtime, and overnight care, I’ve worked with dogs in a variety of settings and understand that each one has unique needs. I’m also a dog parent myself. My 8-year-old rescue pup has taught me so much about patience, trust, and helping a dog feel safe and loved. Supporting her as she healed from past trauma has deepened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced my belief that every pet deserves compassionate and individualized care. Whether your pet needs a walk, companionship while you’re away, or someone to keep up with their daily routine, I will care for them with the same love that I give my own. I currently work full-time remotely in the Lebanon area, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and be available throughout the day for pet care needs. Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or overnight care, I’m often able to accommodate a variety of schedules. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets while you’re away, and I strive to provide consistent, attentive care while keeping their routine as normal as possible. Feel free to reach out with your specific needs, and I’ll do my best to find a schedule that works for both of us. I strive to provide a safe, warm, and trustworthy environment where pets can feel at home. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your furry family member with someone who will care for them as their own. My 8-year-old rescue pup helps make our home a welcoming place for visiting dogs. Whether they want to play, explore, lounge on the couch, or simply enjoy the company of another dog, she’s great at meeting them where they are. Together, we create an environment where dogs can feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life and have provided pet sitting services for family and friends since 2020. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, recognizing behavioral cues, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for every dog. I currently care for my own dog, Tessa, and have experience with dogs of varying ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. My hands-on experience includes caring for large and independent breeds such as German Shepherd/Akita mixes and Shiba Inus. Through regular pet sitting, I’ve become comfortable managing multi-dog households, administering feeding schedules, reinforcing established training routines, and providing enrichment through play, walks, and positive interactions. I’ve also lived with multiple dogs throughout college, giving me extensive experience adapting to different personalities, obedience levels, and exercise needs. I have experience supporting basic training, including house training, crate training, leash manners, and positive reinforcement techniques. Whether your dog is highly active, prefers a slower pace, or needs consistency with an existing routine, I strive to provide dependable care that helps pets feel secure while you’re away. Pet care is a regular part of my daily life. As a lifelong dog owner and experienced pet sitter, I’m used to planning my routine around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m currently a student in a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program, which has strengthened my time management skills and attention to detail. I have clinical rotations on Mondays and Tuesdays and classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8–10 a.m., so I’m generally available most afternoons, evenings, Fridays, and many weekends with advance notice. I only accept bookings that fit comfortably within my schedule to ensure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In my clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, crate routines, and any training cues or household rules. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, leashes, and collars before going outside and make sure pets are supervised during playtime and interactions with other animals. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take time to build trust at their pace—whether they need extra playtime, a calm environment, or a little extra patience. As an MLT student, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I’ve been around animals most of my life and genuinely love caring for them. While I don’t have formal training, I have plenty of hands-on experience taking care of pets for friends, family, and my own animals. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means giving them lots of exercise and play or providing a calm, relaxed environment. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re gone, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. Pet care fits well into my schedule. I work early mornings from 3am–9am Monday through Friday, which means I’m available later in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends for pet visits, walks, and care. I’m reliable about scheduling and can make sure your pet still gets consistent attention, care, and companionship. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow instructions given closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care your pet needs. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention while respecting the pet’s personality and comfort level. My goal is to make pets feel safe and cared for in their own home while their owner is away.

About: My life’s passion is animals. I started my first career as a vet tech and gained so much knowledge and training to care for not only my personal animals but those of others. Through that job I started to focus on rescue and training. I currently am a dog mom to 3 rescue dogs and a foster who is most likely going to be a foster fail. There is no breed of dog that I do not love! I also have 3 rescue horses. I am experienced in feeding/medicating/animal behavior/training/walking/bathing/nail trimming and cuddles for all sorts of animals from fish, birds, guniea pigs, cats, dogs and horses. I know the importance of making sure your pets life is as stress free as possible when looking for pet care. I would love to be able to help. I’m available for morning and late-evening drop-ins during the week, and my schedule is more flexible on weekends if you need a midday visit. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to help make your pet’s day a little brighter whenever you need an extra hand! I don’t offer services in my personal home, but I’m dedicated to keeping the safe, familiar environment you’ve created for your pet exactly the way they love it. I follow your routines, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for while you’re away.

About: Hi there. My name is Robyn and I am an animal loving, responsible sitter who would love to help you out with your pets! I have been a dog owner for 18 years as well as a dog foster Mom and a cat owner in the past. I even had a chicken for a couple of years whom I loved dearly and was the neighborhood mascot.:) I know what it is like to have to find loving, responsible caregivers for your pets, as I have used this service for years for my pups. I can come to your house for drop-in visits, walks or overnight stays. I’m happy to help you out with your fur babies wherever I can! Please ask me any questions you might have. I am currently working a job where I make my own schedule, so that makes it very easy to fit pet care into my schedule. I have a 4 yr old boxer and she usually comes along with me for in home stays. She gets along well with all other animals and has made lots of furry friends along the way. I’ve been very lucky to have some wonderful repeat customers and I love seeing the dogs reunite (with the ones who have stayed with myself and my dogs) as they are always fast friends again. I look forward to meeting all the new dogs…and other animals!

About: Hi! I’m Nicole, I’ve had pets all my life and am a huge animal lover! I grew up with dogs and cats and now have two cats and two doggos of my own! My cats are very special as they are completely blind and I will argue that they are the cutest things ever! I am able to give inhalers, medications, and of course am very patient! Also, yes, I live in Lebanon, but I am often in the Nashville area often! Please message if you have any questions, I look fur-ward to working with you! My schedule varies, it’s best to discuss specific dates/times individually. I usually work in downtown Nashville and try to avoid traffic on my journey back to Lebanon! I am willing to work with you for times that best suit your pet! I look forward to caring for your beloved pet! I understand things happen! Let me know after booking if you need to cancel or modify! 😊 I do not have a fee for canceling! Since my cats are both blind I have to be very careful about not moving furniture or placing objects in their way that they could walk into! I am very patient with them when they are learning new places and let them explore at their pace! I will let your pets take the time they need to warm up to me and be very careful with them!

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lebanon. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Lebanon.

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lebanon. On Rover:

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
