About: Hello everyone! I'm Abby, I've been around dogs all my life from puppies to senior dogs including medically complex fur babies. In my photos, the brown dog was my fur baby for 4 years a rescue that ended up with cancer, me and him fought for 2 of those 4 years before having to say goodbye, I do not currently have any pets. Just a side note, I do have a full time job that is in 8 hour shifts and I can't change that. I am currently an online university student, so I have tons for free time to watch your fur babies, and to play with them so they won't be lonely while y'all are gone. For house sitting I'm down for whatever, for the drop in Sun-Sat 7am-3pm. I will treat the babies like family to play, walk, and spoil with lots of love. If wanted I will send updates and photos of the fur babies as I understand the anxiety of being away from your pets and wondering if they are okay.

About: I am well experienced with reactive and “solo” dogs as I grew up with one. I know how important schedule and routine is to reactive dogs and will always remember that their schedule comes first. I am a new college grad looking to help out the community! Dogs are truly the light of my life and I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. I do have a full time job so am only available before 8am and after 5pm on weekdays. Your dog’s safety comes first! I am well experienced with reactive and routine-focused dogs, so I know what it’s like for dogs to rely on schedule and special attention.
“Hunter is so much more relaxed when I get home from work after Natalee has taken him for a walk! Very happy to have Natalee available for drop in visits and walks!”

Whether it's daily walks, belly rubs, or sticking strictly to their feeding schedule, I treat every pet as if they were my own. With me, you can travel stress-free knowing your pet is safe, happy, and thoroughly spoiled until you get back I'm currently working full time, but I am flexible in the mornings and evenings. I am open to dropping by during the day to give your pet some attention and a break. Weekends work for me as well. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I will make sure your pet is well taken care of, using safety and precaution is a priority to reduce stress and make sure your furry friend feels right at home.
“Jordyn was great to work with, and our kitties, who often need some time to warm up to new people, seemed to like her from the first visit. We will not hesitate to have her take care of our kitties again when we're gone. She kept us well informed and really went above and beyond in taking care of everything we asked. She was Awesome!”

“Cathy came over 3 days a week every week and spent time with our dog and cats while we would be at work. She is very reliable and my animals all loved her SO much!! She did such a great job with them. I will definitely be using her again in the future :)”

“Tierra is very professional and takes great care of our two dogs and house, even dealing with some unexpected messes and our handful of a new rescue pup. Thank you; highly recommend!”

About: I have 7 years of pet care experience! I have taken care of animals as small as mice to as large as horses and everything in between! I have experience in kennels, grooming, training, and as a veterinary assistant! I also have my dog and cat first aid and cpr certification! I’m currently a student so my hours are very flexible! I can help from early in the day time until late at night and everything in between! I have a fenced in yard and and a dog park in walking distance! My home also has room for pups to run and play!

About: I got my first dog when I was 18, a large lab named Bogey, and I immediately took on full responsibility for his care and training. From that point on, I managed his daily needs, structure, and behavior while also navigating college life. That experience taught me consistency, patience, and how to stay attuned to an animal’s cues, energy, and emotional needs in a real-world, hands-on way. Growing up, I also had a cat, which helped shape my comfort and understanding of different animal temperaments and communication styles. I’ve always loved cats and still hope to have one again in the future, but I’m waiting for the right time. In the meantime, not having a cat of my own actually allows me to fully enjoy time with other people’s pets and be more present with them. I’m very comfortable caring for animals of different sizes and personalities, especially big dogs, and I naturally take on a calm, attentive, and responsible role in their care. I also find that my ability to stay grounded, patient, and observant translates well into understanding both animal behavior and human behavior. I’m highly attuned to animals’ needs and take pride in creating a safe, stable, and caring environment for them I work full time from 7:30am–3:30pm, with flexibility before and after work to give pets attention, care, and consistency throughout the evening. I already build daily walks into my routine and would genuinely love having a dog join me, since it fits naturally into my lifestyle. Outside of work hours, I’m very present and attentive, and weekends are fully open, which allows for extended time, activity, and stability in care. I also have prior experience watching dogs for neighbors, family, and friends, and I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I’m confident in my ability to adjust to each animal’s needs and provide consistent, reliable care. I’m comfortable caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home depending on what best meets the pet’s needs. I am comfortable housing a cat in my home, as it is a safe and stable environment for them. However, I would be cautious about boarding a dog in my home at this time due to my fence needing repairs. For dogs, I am fully open to staying in the client’s home or visiting consistently throughout the day to ensure reliable care, routine, and attention. I prioritize maintaining the pet’s normal environment and schedule, and I am flexible in adjusting my care approach to provide consistency, exercise, feeding, and companionship as needed.

I believe every pet deserves to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. Knowing that they were truly caring for my animals helped me have the peace of mind needed to relax and enjoy my trip. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to hire them again. “Tiffany did a fantastic job caring for my two cats while I was away. She was an excellent communicator, very respectful, reliable, and clearly hardworking. It was obvious from the start that she genuinely loves animals and takes great pride in caring for them. One of my cats is a rescue and is very nervous around people, but Tiffany did a wonderful job making sure he was comfortable and doing well throughout her visits. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and even went above and beyond by bringing in packages that arrived while we were gone. I especially appreciated the detailed updates and the many photos she shared after each visit. It was reassuring to see that everything was taken care of, and I loved receiving the cute pictures of my pets while I was away. Tiffany exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She will definitely be one of my first choices the next time I need care for my cats.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
