“Natalie dropped in on our rambunctious Ridgeback puppy for several days and took great care of him. He really liked her and beside the normal activities to feed, water, potty and play, she took great pics which were posted in Rover's report card. We really appreciated her being available for Clancy with little notice, really helped us out. We'll definitely request her again and would recommend her to others.”

“Braelyn stops by each week to take care of my pups when I'm working. She's great with them, always shows up at the specified time, and always sends pictures. Will continue to book her as available!”

“Meredith is amazing! So reliable and patient with my very chatty and demanding cat. She sent daily updates and photos, making sure I knew how my baby was doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Billie and her 17 year old niece watched our two 4-month-old Goldendoodle puppies for an extended home visit (5 hours). They came the day before to meet the dogs and get an "orientation" from us - that was very helpful. On the day of the pet sitting, they arrived right on time and took good care of our pups while we were out. Billie was very good at communicating and keeping us posted.”

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong passion for animals. I've had pets since I was 5 years old and have cared for six different pets over the years. My friends and neighbors often turn to me for pet sitting because they know how much I love and respect animals. Currently, I’m in graduate school for occupational therapy, where I aim to learn how to train animals for assistance with disabled individuals. I absolutely adore any animal, so I will ensure they get the treatment and love they deserve! I am currently in graduate school, but I have lots of flexibility other than my few hours of classes each day. I am completely available on the weekends to help whenever needed. I am very loving to my pets. I am always ensuring they are safe, but they can also have fun. I am willing to comply with any requests of caregiving. I want each pet to feel comfortable when their family is away. :)
“Taylor was great with both our (very anxious) dog and cat! She is clearly an animal lover which is the most important thing. We really value having someone who cares about our pets as much as we do. She is also professional and communicates promptly and clearly.”

“Megan was awesome! Came to meet my dogs ( lab and golden) the day before she cared for them. The day she took care of them she came three times as i was gone over 10 hours… she left me details and pictures of my girls! The girls lived her and we do too! Highly recommend when in the Teton/Jackson Hole area! she was very professional and on time and very thorough!”

About: I am reliable when it comes to dog care because of my experience in dog-sitting for my friends, and taking care of my own pup when my parents are out of town. I am able to walk long ways with dogs, play with them for an extended amount of time, stick to a feeding schedule set by the owner, and keep the dog company and comfortable. Though I don't have experience in dogs with special needs, senior dogs, or have never had an emergency occur, I am willing to learn about the needs that a dog might have to keep the owner, and dog, at peace. I love the bond that I got with the dogs I have sat, and any future furry friendship that might happen! I am a full time student in my third year at Whitworth University who can provide pet care during some hours of the weekdays and weekends. I am willing to compromise with the pet owner about when they will need me to pet-sit. My family has owned dogs since I was 5 and it has always been my responsibility to feed them, bathe, and play with them. I also have loved taking them for walks, playing catch and snuggling with them. I am still able to take care of my current parent's dog, Frodo, if I ever need pet therapy from college or if they leave for a few days.
About: I have always had pets around me growing up and love playing with them! As a college student I don’t have my own anymore but would love company once and a while! I have school all day every week but I am home on evenings and weekends to sit! My schedule is pretty flexible and repetitive as well. I have a large apartment where they will be free to roam, the apartment community is gated and has a dog park for playing as well
“Ashton and Shelby are responsible, caring and conscientious. They are great at communicating, and showed flexibility when I had a need for an extra visit. Knowing that they were truly caring for my animals helped me have the peace of mind needed to relax and enjoy my trip. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to hire them again. My cats, rabbits, fish and plants were all well-looked after and I really enjoyed all the photos and updates!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hamann Corner
Natalie is amazing! My cat Bella hides under the bed anytime someone comes to the house. I knew I found the perfect person to take care of my fur babies when Natalie came to meet our pets and Bella came right up to her like they were old friends. I had a lot of anxiety about this trip and Natalie somehow clued into all the things I was worried about. Her daily updates and pictures addressed all of my worries and put me totally at ease. This is the first trip I have been on where I didn't stress about the animals. I knew they were in great hands. It was wonderful to be able to be out of town and enjoy myself! Thank you Natalie for loving animals and being such a great caregiver.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
