I live and breathe dogs — training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: I’ve taken care of friends and families dogs. I had a Shitzu named Bella who I rescued in 2016 and she was older and had some health issues. I gave her the best life! She passed in Feb 2019 and will always be in my heart! Ava was born in 2020 and I got her when she was 8 weeks old. About: I am absolutely obsessed with cats and I feel like I do Rover more so because I love interacting with other cats. It’s not even a side hustle :) Should you need me, I’m reliable, efficient, caring, and will treat your cat like he or she is mine. I can also travel anywhere so just let me know whatever is needed. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. About: I grew up with dogs and have lived with multiple dogs at a time. I also have experience navigating food, treats, toys, and walking with multiple dogs at a time. I fostered three dogs before adopting my own. I loved training my own dog as a puppy and would be happy to help with yours while sitting. I work part-time with a very flexible schedule. I am available most days for dog walks and overnight stays. I prefer to have your dog stay with me aside from 1-2 night stays. I alternate walls with either 2-3 neighborhood daily walks or a longer hike with a daily walk, however will accommodate dogs needs as advised. I will follow your lead as you know your pet best in regards to feeding, sleeping areas, and exercise. I understand how it takes a lot of trust to leave your pet with someone else so I aim to be an excellent communicator, attentive and responsive to your pets needs. I prefer to walk dogs on leash especially with an orange vest during hunting season, unless in an enclosed space. I am a big fan of having my dog Ziggy meet yours outside of the home first and/or letting your dog sniff around before bringing my dog in to avoid over stimulation and potential aggression. Although my dog is not possessive or aggressive towards other dogs! I have a fenced yard with grass to allow the dogs to play and use the bathroom. I do not have a kennel, so if your dog kennels, we will need to bring it to our home. Looking forward to meeting your dog!
