“Sydney took great care of our kitties while we were away! Our cats can be particular with their people, so it was great to hear the updates and see the photos of our cats and Sydney getting along. They were absolutely well taken care of. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Sadie was wonderful. She agreed to watch my cats within a week of the booking, made time to come meet them prior, and took great care of them during. She communicated with me throughout and sent a lot of pictures. A very reliable pet sitter!”

“Hanna is great and I will definitely be a repeat client! Our kitties were well taken care of, even though they are both picky and can be catty, Hanna kept them happy! We really appreciate the care and continuous updates and pics/vids of our kitties. I would give more stars if I could! 💕”

“We have a rescue dog who doesn’t warm up to many people, and I could tell from the pictures she uploaded that my dog loves her. 100% recommend and would book Kayla again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since as early as I can remember. Honestly I get along with animals better then people! We've always had a dog and more recently cats. My in-laws ask for my help when they take a trip and I am always happy to help! Currently I am caring for my kids during most of the day but I am open on evenings and weekends as needed! I'll try to fit anything in that I can! I'll always greet the animals first and make sure they are comfortable with me. Then I check for water and food. Once I make sure those are good we are off for play time or walk time!
“Rachel was amazing. Our three dogs were well taken care and we received frequent updates. She went above and beyond to not only care for the dogs but also in looking after the house during our trip.”

About: Whether they’re a couch potato or a ball of energy, I will match their energy! I have grown up with a zoo in my house with past experiences with ducks, goats, cats, dogs, parakeets, and even a hedgehog! We’ve always had big dogs in our house so I am very comfortable with larger breeds but I can work with pets of all sizes. I also have experience with working with senior and geriatric dogs including those with dementia. I am a graduate student which means I am often extra available during academic breaks when you might be on vacation! As a student, I have class and clinicals 2-4 days a week but will often have a pretty set schedule. It also means that I am usually extra available during academic breaks! I build trust and take things slowly with the animal so that I don’t stress them out. I can find ways or take suggestions on ways to get them to feel relaxed and safe with me. Your pets’ safety and health will be my number one priority.

About: I've spent 13 years caring for my own dog, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. While I'm new to Rover, I'm excited to meet new furry friends and provide attentive, dependable care tailored to each pet's personality and routine. Whether it's a walk, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I'll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I'd love the opportunity to earn that trust! I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and companionship throughout the week, and I can work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet's needs. I understand how important consistency and routine are for animals, and I'll do my best to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you're away! For dog walks, I prioritize your dog's safety and comfort while making sure they get to enjoy their time outside. I'll follow your preferred walking route, pace, and instructions, and make sure your dog is securely leashed before heading out. For drop-in visits, I'll follow your pet's usual routine, including feeding, refreshing their water, bathroom breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I'll take the time to help them feel comfortable with me. I'll also provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away!

“You were amazing and took good care of axle. So sorry he got so stressed out on you, he’s a neurotic dog who hasn’t spent any time away from me so the fact that ge held out for so long is impressive to me. Thank you, and again, I’m sorry for his behavior”

“Kelly shows up on time, obviously loves dogs and my dog loves her too. I appreciates the time & attention she gives, and the photos. I'll continue to book with her as much as I can.”

About: I've been a pet owner for 30 plus years, to include cats and dogs. I have also done pet sitting many times for families in and around Camp Hill, PA. I am currently a proud momma of three amazing furry friends: a 14 year old cat, a 9 year old catahoula leopard doggies, and a very energetic 2 1/2 year old mini golden doodle. All of these animals are rescues. I am currently working a job that ends at 3:30 each week day, and am very flexible with my availability of time over the weekends. I am up very early each morning to let my two dogs out in our backyard, which is fenced in. I also administer medication to our cat at that time, along with feeding all of my pets. All of our pets have free range of our house, but our youngest dog can be crated at times when necessary. I also love taking both of our dogs for walks every night.
About: We have been married for 37 years and we have always had a dog. Georgie, our Cavapoo,is our fur baby. He’s a spayed 4 year old playful male. We live very close to a dog park where we take him to play often. We have a fenced yard and an acre and a half of green space. My wife and I are retired. We are up till around 11 at night and wake around 8:30. After coffee, we usually play some tennis or lounge by our pool. We take our Cavapoo to the local dog park for outdoor playtime in the evening when the temperature is cooler. We also play indoors through out the day. We sit down to watch tv around 8:00 and Georgie is usually on a lap snoozing. Our home is a non smoking home with CO2/smoke detectors in every room, basement and top floor. Those are all linked so if one goes by off they all go off. The yard is fenced due to a swimming pool. It will be covered in October with a cover that supports my weight. We are in a rural area with deer, squirrels, and various other wildlife. Our children are all adult and we are empty nesters at this point. We are currently not watching our grand sons, though they do drop in to visit.
About: I've been a pet owner for as long as I can remember and have been a sitter of cats and dogs for the past fourteen years, both seniors and little ones alike. I am a full-time professional working hybrid so I have the flexibility to take your pet on walks, pay them visits at home, and have some play time. I have experience in pet walking, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I would love to make sure your pet is safely cared for while you're away! I work a hybrid full-time job, so most of the week I am working from home. During this time, I can check on your pet as often as needed, or stay at your home full-time to ensure your pet has company or someone there for their needs at all times. I am all about making sure your pet is in the environment they, and you, feel most comfortable being in. I am able to keep them crated if you prefer.
“Amanda did a fantastic job with our dogs. She is very conscientious - she checked in with us regularly and asked questions to ensure she was giving the best possible care to our pups.”
“Once again, such wonderfully loving care for my cat :) I have never had such piece of mind! Brandy is thorough, consistent, and very patient. I feel more than comfortable leaving my animals in her care.”

“Elizabeth was awesome with my two shy cats! She won them both over quickly. They felt safe and I could completely relax and know they were in good hands for two weeks. I felt that she loved on them as if they were her cats. 😊”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - New Market
Tina has been a lifesaver! I've had to travel a lot lately because of family issues, and Tina has been available to come over with very little notice. Plus I worry about my Bella (probably too much at times) and Tina has gone above and beyond to care for my girl and put up with my worrying. You could tell she truly loves animals. I highly recommend Tina!

Olivia is our go-to sitter for our 2 kitties whenever we have to go away. It's always a relief to know that they are in her care. 💜 She meets them both where they are at (as they both have very different needs and personalities!) and we can see in each visit update that they are being completely themselves and are so at ease with her. They truly love their Olivia Time!! 😁 We can't recommend Olivia enough. We really appreciate the genuine love and care she gives to our boys on her visits, and the consistent communication and attention to detail she provides us in updates throughout our time away. Thank you, Olivia, for loving our lads! 💕🐾

Cheryl is by far the best, most reliable pet sitter I have ever had. She followed my directions to the T. She is indeed a cat whisperer; my two cats usually run and hide when anyone comes into the house. They both came out for her when she dropped by for a pre-sitting visit; they let her feed them their evening treat. She is kind and respectful; thanks, Rover!

I cannot recommend Shyann enough! I had to make a last-minute booking, and they completely exceeded my expectations. Even with the short notice, they insisted on doing a meet-and-greet to make sure my dog was comfortable and that all instructions were clear—a level of professionalism and care I truly didn't expect given the tight timeline. They are reliable, incredibly sweet with my pup, and provided fantastic updates. It is such a relief to find someone so dependable and accommodating. I will absolutely be booking again!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
