She played alot with them and made sure they were comfortable. You can tell that she's just a genuinely beautiful person inside and out who loves animals and knows what she's doing. I had alot of anxiety about leaving my 2 cats behind while going on a trip but she set my mind at ease completely! I knew my babies were in great hands and they honestly seemed to have a good time. About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.

About: Hello! I’m Vee. I’ve worked with pets for most of my life and have had a deep respect for animals as far back as I could remember. I used to cry over the dead birds our barn cat would kill as a child. I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, and have even helped rehab two baby squirrels. Each animal is different and deserves the care they need to feel cherished. I’m currently in grad school for social work so want to make the most of my free time by doing what I love: working with animals. Right now my availability is pretty open and I have the flexibility to work around your schedule. :) Your furry family members will be treated with the utmost care during their stay. I want them to feel as relaxed and stress free as possible but I know some new environments can be a little scary. I always use a sound machine at night with soothing music to ease any anxiety (and usually lots of pets and treats too!). My preference is that dogs are crated at night to help ease anxiety (and to prevent any night time shenanigans) but if your dog is unfamiliar with a crate that’s no problem. I can try working with them on crate training with lots of positive reinforcement or I can set up a comfy spot for them in our guest bedroom. Please please please let me know if your pet has any issues with potty training. I will 100% adjust to their needs and take them out as often as necessary to avoid any accidents. :)

Several weeks before our boarding and before I even confirmed the booking, Megan invited me to visit and make sure our pup would be comfortable or a good fit. Only once it seemed like it was going to be good for all of us did move forward. Willy stayed for a week. Megan was not only attentive to his usual routine but kept us updated with photos and notes about how he was feeling (he gets anxiety over storms). About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, with the majority of my hands-on experience in the last five years. I currently care for my own dog, Layla, and have also fostered, so I’m comfortable working with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I’ve potty trained three dogs, including my own, a foster dog, and a puppy I raised for about six months before transitioning him to my parents. That experience gave me a strong understanding of consistency, structure, and reinforcing good habits. I’ve provided both boarding and in-home pet sitting for multiple households, including homes with multiple dogs and homes with both dogs and cats. Whether pets are staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I understand how important consistency, patience, and communication are while owners are away. I’m reliable, attentive, and communicative throughout stays, and I treat every pet like my own. My dog Layla may accompany me during some house sitting stays depending on the pets and circumstances. She is friendly, social, and has done very well with other dogs during previous stays. I work full-time during weekdays, so I’m typically out of the home for about 9 hours during the day. Pets in my care should be comfortable with that schedule, and I make sure they are exercised, settled, and comfortable before I leave, with plenty of attention, walks, and interaction when I return home. On weekends, I’m much more available and hands-on, which allows for extra walks, playtime, enrichment, and cuddle time. Whether I’m boarding, doing daycare, or staying in a client’s home, I aim to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, behavior, and specific needs so I can provide consistent care and maintain the environment they’re used to. I live in an apartment with multiple grassy areas nearby for walks and bathroom breaks, along with an on-site dog park for additional exercise and enrichment. I tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. I’m experienced with dogs of different temperaments and can reinforce routines such as feeding schedules, crate training, potty habits, and calm household behavior if needed. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, I prioritize safety, communication, cleanliness, and creating a calm environment where pets can relax and feel at home.

They played outside in the fenced in yard with her dogs, tried to chase squirrels, when we picked them up they were not nervous. Melissa sent pictures and updates daily which made us feel better.
