About: I was a pre-vet student for 2.5 years before deciding to switch to humans. I had dogs from birth until I was 17 when my family dog passed away. I currently own a 2 cats and 2 chinchillas! I grew up with a Husky, German Shepherd, and Collie so I am super comfortable with big dogs! I live in a smaller apartment so for me to own/host a dog would be unfair to the dog, but I would love to be able to walk/run and play with dogs of all sizes. I grew up with a dog who was on medication and special food so I am good with handling restricted diets, restricted activities, nail trimmings, and giving any kind of medications. I am currently free any day of the week due to being in maternity leave until September when I return to work part time as a nurse. I follow the rules the owner informed me of. If they require special care I will provide that care. Will keep the secure on leash/harness and keep an eye on them when outside. I leave your home as if I was never there so you don’t come back to any type of mess. I typically bring all of my own food and toiletries.

About: Hi! My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable while getting the best form of care I can provide. Growing up with animals, especially dogs, has taught how to be a patient and caring person. I’ve built a relationship with my own dog off of trust and want to do the same while caring for your pupper! I’m a focused and detail oriented person and will work to ensure all your specific needs are met. Currently I’m working part time, so I have a flexible and pretty open schedule to take care of your pets. I’m also good with last minute changes and can easily switch around my schedule for what works best for you! I live in a small town with plenty of areas to walk dogs and I also have a fenced in back yard. I have one dog and two cats that do well around other animals, as well as a trustworthy vehicle to take me to your location.

About: I would make a great dog sitter for you because I genuinely love spending time with dogs, and I have a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. My passion for animals drives me to create a nurturing and safe environment for them, where they can feel comfortable and happy. I have spent countless hours observing and interacting with dogs of various breeds and temperaments, which has equipped me with the knowledge to recognize their unique personalities and requirements. Additionally, I ensure that each dog receives proper care and attention tailored to their specific needs. This includes monitoring their health, administering any necessary medications, and being attentive to any signs of discomfort or distress. I am committed to creating a positive experience for both the dogs and their owners, giving pet owners peace of mind knowing their furry friends are in capable hands. I’m currently not working so my availability is pretty open. I’m very flexible when it comes to times. I can do drop ins and sitting pretty much anytime. It's essential to conduct drop-ins on the dogs they care for to ensure their well-being and comfort. Regular visits play a crucial role in maintaining the dogs' daily routines, which can significantly reduce stress and anxiety for the animals.

About: I consider pets to be part of our family. Any dog/cat that stays with me will receive the same attention and care as my own fur babies. Your dog/cat will be temporarily adopted into our family, where they will receive lots of love, pets, belly rubs, toys, and playtime. I proivide stress-free care for your furry family member(s) so that you can enjoy your vacation or focus at work. I am happy to care for animals who have special needs having done so often during my tenure of caring for pets. For example, I have had a client with a diabetic dog who needed insulin shots; one of my cats has asthma causing me to become quite skilled at administering medicine to unimpressed cats. If your dog needs socialization or training, I can help with the basics. All training is based on positive reinforcement with treats and verbal cues. For an additional fee, I would be happy to work with your dog while they stay with me or when I walk/visit them if they need basic obedience training. For socialization, I have a 1-year-old dog who is overly friendly and would be happy to help your dog learn that other dogs can be friends. I recently graduated with my Ph.D. and am searching for a career. In the meantime, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for your pet. For boarding or day sitting, dogs will be walked 1-2 times daily and offered an array of toys and chews for their entertainment. Dogs that love to play fetch will have the opportunity for "playtime," where they can chase a ball outside in a fenced-in yard. I use a long leash for places without a fence that gives the dog a leash-free experience. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and on my or my husband's lap for extra snuggles. If I need to leave my home and your dog is there, I prefer to crate your dog to ensure their safety and the safety of the other animals in the home. I provide ample blankets and beds to keep your dog warm and comfy. I ensure adult dogs are not crated for more than 6 hours, and puppies are not crated for more than 2 hours (unless they are very young and need constant supervision).

About: I’m a single mother of two, running and outdoors enthusiast, and lover of 4 legged friends. I live one mile from work and have a flexible schedule to be able to accommodate multiple quick trips home if needed. While working, your pet would never be alone more than 4 hours. In my home pets are allowed on the couch and in bed with me. I have a partially fenced back yard with room to run. I live in a neighborhood setting with sidewalks making walks ideal. I’m 5 minutes away from Owosso’s bark park. My two daughters love dogs as well and have grown up with dogs in the home. I look forward to the chance to get to know you and your dog. Thank you.

About: I've had a dog for the past 5 years ( shiloh ) she's a German Shepard! She is wonderfully and well trained also is fixed. she does love to greet people so she might jump. I've also dog sat for many years as well and I worked for a dog company back in 2017 where I took care of daily task as well as medical needs when necessary, and worked along side pregnant and and birthing mothers. I have had a couple cats growing up, none to call my own though. So I am also acquainted with the care of cats and kittens as well as shiloh was raised around all types of animals and children of various ages so we are comfortable saying there should be no issues with her. However we can make other accommodation for her if you don't feel comfortable with another animal in the home. One final note I have 2 children a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I hope you enjoy my profile and to hear from you soon! I have a 5 year old German Shepard who lives full time with me and my children at home. I know how to give medication, shots aswell as cut nails and bathe but I do not feel comfortable trimming or giving the dogs a hair cut. I don't have a fence, i do have a little yard but I have harnesses and leads to walk and take the dogs out side to play. I do have a crate available if needed my dog is trained as well as crate trained. Shiloh ( my dog ) love the company of other fur babies to run around as play with. My two children are also in love with animals but I do have a vary large second living room and attached mud room that I can limit off for dog access if it would make having a dog stay here more comfortable due them not being used to children!

About: I had a chocolate lab. She passed away in July 2020. She was 16 years old. She was on medicine and had a couple surgeries so I am used to taking care of older dogs with meds, etc. I do have 5 cats and they are very spoiled. They are outdoor/indoor. They range in age from 9 yrs-2 yrs-old. I believe in daily exercise for animals, I even walk the cats! I am available very early mornings 6-7am and in the evening from 7pm on. I am also available on most weekends. I look forward to seeing your pet and helping you out! I have a full time second shift job. I will be available in the mornings before 3:00pm and most weekends all day long if needed. I am currently not boarding any pets due to my cats being very spoiled and particular about who they have around the house. I will give the best care to your pet in your house. I believe in exercise and a good diet for your pet and also the occasional treat.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life, I worked in the vet field for over 4 years in various aspects, I currently am a Dog Bather at a local groomers. I currently have 2 dogs (one of which is in service training) and a cat, I used to have lots of reptiles as well! I'm never afraid of any dog and welcome them with open arms. I currently work part time Wednesday - Saturdays pretty consistently, but my days don't start until earliest 830am and I'm normally done between 4-5 (unless we have a late day scheduled). Sunday - Tuesdays are my off days outside of doctor appointments and any other extra curriculars I do ☺️ I do only offer in home services as my older dog is a bit of a rough player and my younger is in service training and I can't take the risk of him being injured. In you home, I will stay with you pet overnight if that is what makes you the most comfortable. They can sleep with me or be crated, whichever is preferred by you. Feeding will always be on schedule and meds can be administered as needed (I have a lot of experience keeping meds straight for my own dogs). A daily walk will happen (distance dependent on dog and weather) and we will play in the yard and enjoy lots of cuddles and belly rubs!! While I love spoiling my own babys, I'll make sure to keep everything as consistent as possible for you!

About: Hello! My name is Kallie (like California). I currently house 5 of my own cats, 3 rat terriers, Mulligan, Dot, and Reese's, and a ratty mix mutt named Theio! I'm an avid disc golfer, and I am working on making this my full time job :) I provide help with walks, dog sitting for the day, and if your dog does well with cats and other dogs I do offer daycare in my own home. I can always board in the comforts of your own home with overnights and drop by visits as well to keep the stress to a minimum. I'm very compassionate, and any animal in general grows on me pretty quick. I am able to administer subcutaneous shots, and any oral medication that may be needed. I have the energy and time to keep a 10-month-old puppy entertained, and the patience for any senior dog that may want to be lazy all day. I've been doing dog walks and overnights over 10 years now, so I have the confidence to handle any new fur babies! For the most part I am openly available. I schedule my days, weeks, and months around my client's benefit, and because I disc golf I do occasionally have weekends off. I have a huge yard and live close to the local dog park. I encorporate a visit to the dog park if possible, and be sure to treat each of my guests as if they're on their own vacation.

About: If you use talking dog boards ( not provided) or have any additional training needs I am happy to include that with booking. At age 12 I started volunteering for Leader Dog of the Blind and Paws With A Cause training career service dogs. I have trained numerous dog and have over 20yrs of experience. When boarding dogs I take in consideration breeds, personalities, age & special needs. I provide shorter walks and shorter play times with older or special need dogs. I also rotate one on one time with the dogs I am boarding. Each stay I provide 1-2 walks per day and outdoor play times. I provide training with the dogs free of charge. Some examples are walking calmly, eye contact, and waiting calmly. I view dog boarding as a "Doggy Arb&B" & do my best to incorporate outings such as a walk to get pup cups in the summer. In colder months I provide nights by the fire with stuffed bones. Or I make all natural homemade dog treats in my experience the dogs enjoy laying in the kitchen while I make them. And of course provide lots of love & cuddles free of charge! am taking boarding, drop in visits, and other pet services. I have a fenced in backyard. Daily walks and play times are given throughout day. On weekends I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie, pool, and shade in the backyard. My son & view dog boarding as a doggy ARB & B. They are on vacation too. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time.

About: I'm a caring dog owner and have my own hobby farm. I love all kinds of animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart! My husband and I have 11 acres & the dogs love going on walks through the trails and seeing the farm animals along the way. I am attentive to each animals individual needs and love the affection dogs give. I have experience walking many breeds of dogs and have reliable transportation to get to your home on time for potty breaks. I know how much our dogs need human interaction and I think I enjoy play time as much as they do! You can trust me to give your pup the best care possible, whether at your home or mine. Thanks for taking the time to check me out! God bless you! I’m currently working part time so I have lots of time to care for your pet! I’m also very active and love to take the dogs for walks! I have 11 acres and trails to keep your dog active! I also have my own dog who, although older, turns into a puppy when other dogs are around and loves to play.

About: I've owned pets of all kinds starting as a child! Animals bring me incredible joy, and I'd love to bring that joy into your home when I watch yours! I've owned, rescued and loved cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, raccoons, birds, and squirrels! I currently own 4 cats, all of which were rescues. Two of them brother and sister who I hand raised and bottle fed. I also have 3 dogs, A gaggle a blue heelers, so I'm especially used to high energy pups. Though they very recently left my care due to a separation. I take great pride in the attention to detail I give to the animals in my care. I'm experienced in giving all kinds of medications, to both dogs and cats. In fact, one of my own kitties has kidney disease, and I've been managing his treatment and care 100% alone. Cooking him three meals a day, hand feeding, administering any medications needed, and even giving him at-home subcutaneous fluids. But as always, let's please communicate about the details of your pet beforehand if any special care is needed so we can make sure we're a great fit for eachother! I'm a corporate professional who is very fortunate to work from home, and has really great control of their schedule! So I can very likely work my schedule around your needs! For those whose pets I will be dropping in on to feed or walk, I take great care in making sure instructions are followed, and all the needs of your pets are met! I have an abundance of love to give, so rest assured that they'll get as many scritches as they can handle, and as much fulfillment as I can give while I'm there. I know what it's like to have to leave your fur-family alone, and I'll do everything I can to make this time a positive one for them, and you! I also offer cat boarding, which seems rarely offered. I wanted to offer this because I myself have been in a situation where I've needed this service, and I've never found a place that offers it, and it was absolutely so stressful so try and find a solution! For the kitties that stay with me, I have a completely separate spot in my house that I will have them stay in, since I have kitties of my own. The previous owner of my house actually had this section designed as an in-home salon, so it has a completely separate entrance into my home. As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.

About: Hi, welcome to my profile! I have been part of Rover for over five years. So far, I have cared for nine dogs, four cats, and two bunnies. I decided to join because I love spending my free time around animals. My passion for furry critters began when I was young. I grew up with multiple pets: three dogs, four cats, two gerbils, and numerous chickens/ducks. One of my childhood dogs I raised from a puppy. I taught him basic obedience and potty training. Also, I would occasionally pet sit my cousin's Yorkie for a few days by feeding him, filling his water bowl, and going on walk adventures around town. My current pet is a two-year-old orange tabby cat named Ted, whom I adopted when he was two months old. Thanks to these experiences, I am very familiar with basic dog and cat care. Additionally, I have six years of volunteer experience at a veterinary clinic and multiple animal shelters. My duties involved socializing/exercising pets, photographing animals to improve adoptions, and organizing veterinary medical gear. I have extra time due to being a stay-at-home mom so I will dedicate my attention to your pet's happiness. I have more availability on weekday evenings & weekends, but can sometimes do earlier on the weekdays as long as you don’t mind if my toddler tags along & your pet is KID-FRIENDLY. My pet care services include both dog walking and drop-in visits. They are mainly available for small/medium sized dogs and cats, but I am open to providing pet care for other animals like small mammals, birds, and turtles. Lastly, I only do dog walking and drop-in visits for one pet owner at a time each day. If you would like to consider me for your pet care needs or have questions about my services, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged friend! :)

About: I’ve had 9 pets over the years. I love walking dogs, and stopping in to check on the fur babies. I’ve earned many certificates for my knowledge on animals, taken dog training classes, successfully trained a service dog, assisted with training a willful border collie, and worked at a dog hotel and daycare that also accepted cats. I have taken care of neighbors and family pets. I love to play games with pets and make sure to have relax time. Hi, I am available most days. I do require a Free Meet and Greet before our first appointment. Please feel free to chat with me to find a perfect day and time I can take care of your pet. My pet sitting is a drop-in visit, which I can do as many times as you need per day. Each visit can be 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour. During that time I will refresh/refill water and food, potty time, and playtime, send a photo of the pet to the owner at the end of each visit, and fill out a pet sitting report card. I’m more than happy to learn your habits and routines with your pets and mimic those. I always make sure to put safety above all else. pets must be leashed at all times when outside unless going in a fully fenced-in safe yard.

Marlana is everything any pet owner could ask for. She took such great care of Dax and my two cats. while we were out of town. I'm new to Rover, marlana was extremely patient with me and all of my questions and concerns. She sent pictures daily of the animals and also FaceTimed me. She bought Dax a toy that he absolutely adores! The biggest compliment I can give her is that she was patient with Dax he has seizures and takes awhile to get used to people. Dax and I think she's the best.

I ensure adult dogs are not crated for more than 6 hours, and puppies are not crated for more than 2 hours (unless they are very young and need constant supervision).

Rachel has watched my pets and house many times. She is dependable and great at a moment's notice. If I have a meeting run late, Rachel always saves me by running over to let my pups out and to feed them dinner! Her kids are great with my old lady doggies too! 5 stars!

For the longest time we boarded our dogs at the local vet. Our older dog just couldn't take being in that environment and it would take her a long time to get her back to normal after boarding. With Kallie doing the dog sitting, we come home to happy dogs! Kallie is also very thoughtful in that she gives us updates on how things are going and is always responsive to questions. I would recommend Kallie to anyone seeking a dog sitter!

She is very experienced with a animals and didn’t shy away from the challenge to come and let out my Doberman and German shorthair who are large, energetic dogs. Christie allows time to feed and play with them each time she comes. I have requested her help for both short and long vacations. I highly recommend her services.
