About: What sets me apart is that I focus on being consistent, attentive, and calm with every pet I care for. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual routine and personality, so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I’m also patient with different needs, whether that’s energetic puppies who need structure and playtime or older pets who may need a slower pace and extra care. I make sure communication with pet owners is clear and reliable so they always know how their pet is doing. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I’m very organized and consistent with my schedule. I’m comfortable handling feeding, walking, cleaning, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so fitting pet care into my weekly routine feels rewarding rather than stressful. I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and cared for by following their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home or a client’s home, I focus on feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, and giving them attention and companionship. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level to make sure they’re happy and stress-free. If the owner has specific instructions, I always follow them carefully to make sure their pet receives the best care possible.

About: I love to cuddle and give them attention. Catch and tug of war are two of my favorite games to play. Your pups will be highly looked after in my care I'm currently a stay at home mom! My toddler is in school on Tuesdays and Fridays which has opened up my schedule to be able to look after your babies! I do have a 9 month old who will be in the home so please think about if that would be a good fit for your furry friends (: I have a fenced yard and two very friendly pups that will keep your dogs comfortable. We do have a big gate that separates the living room from the rest of the house so we can use that tool to our advantage in keeping everyone happy throughout the day! Because I'm home all day it will be so easy to watch over all the pups and make sure they get outside as often as needed.

I have experiance with domestic animals, pocket pets (hamsters, ect.), lizards, bugs, rescued wildlife and ect. If it can be a pet I more then likely have taken care of them. I love all animals and would love to care for yours anyway I can. I currently have a Dog, 3 Cats and take care of several other animals for family and friends, so im kind of an Auntie to many animals. I live in a large 2 story home, with a large fenced in yard and live in a quiet subdivision in Flushing near the Golf Course. I can keep pets seperate from our other household pets or they are all up to date on vaccinations and are other animal friendly so if you feel your pet would like to co-mingle then that is possible too. You let me know your pets needs and I can usually accommodate a way to adjust areas to suit there needs in my home. No young children or loud environment, just quiet, relaxing space for your pet to enjoy while away from home.

About: Welcome! I have over 20years experience working with dogs. I like to look at my pet boarding as an Airbnb for pets! I am a former service dog trainer. I am currently enrolled in dog training courses through Rover. I will be completing a Veterinarian Assistant program this summer. There is always someone home or available. I work & study remotely. I do provide talking dog buttons. If your dog uses them let me know & we will have them available with words your dog uses & hopefully learn some new ones! Anything that is trending that promoted positive life quality for dogs I usually have on hand or am incorporating it into use Each day I incorporate daily walks, cuddles, & basic training. Basic training is eye contact, leash & buddy walking. I provide one on one time for the dogs each daily. I make sure no dog feels left out. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time. On weekends in the summers. I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie pool, water sprinklers and shade in the backyard. In the summer I offer water play daily! They have free will to come in & out of the house into the fenced in yard all day! In the fall & winter months the dogs can enjoy outside time by a warm outdoor doggie bonfire. There are areas they can romp in the leaves & explore. I also incorporate daily walks weather permitting. On colder days or rainy days we have a rainy paw day. If the dogs are open to it they can enjoy some doggy stretches, Spaw services such as coconut oil rubs on their paw pads, homemade doggie treats, and dog related movies and cuddles!

About: I have loved animals of all kinds my entire life and have been caring for pets at home for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a mom who was a former veterinarian, caring for animals runs in my family. I understand the importance of providing pets with patience, attention, love, and proper care. I will treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I have open scheduling times besides holidays and personal appointments. I’m available for house sitting when my schedule allows and will discuss my availability with each client before accepting a booking. I’m happy to provide overnight care and spend plenty of quality time with your pets while you’re away. For house sitting, I care for pets in their own home where they can stay comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I will follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and any household or safety guidelines. About: I've owned pets of all kinds starting as a child! Animals bring me incredible joy, and I'd love to bring that joy into your home when I watch yours! I've owned, rescued and loved cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, raccoons, birds, and squirrels! I currently own 4 cats, all of which were rescues. Two of them brother and sister who I hand raised and bottle fed. I also have 3 dogs, A gaggle a blue heelers, so I'm especially used to high energy pups. Though they very recently left my care due to a separation. I take great pride in the attention to detail I give to the animals in my care. I'm experienced in giving all kinds of medications, to both dogs and cats. In fact, one of my own kitties has kidney disease, and I've been managing his treatment and care 100% alone. Cooking him three meals a day, hand feeding, administering any medications needed, and even giving him at-home subcutaneous fluids. But as always, let's please communicate about the details of your pet beforehand if any special care is needed so we can make sure we're a great fit for eachother! I'm a corporate professional who is very fortunate to work from home, and has really great control of their schedule! So I can very likely work my schedule around your needs! For those whose pets I will be dropping in on to feed or walk, I take great care in making sure instructions are followed, and all the needs of your pets are met! I have an abundance of love to give, so rest assured that they'll get as many scritches as they can handle, and as much fulfillment as I can give while I'm there. I know what it's like to have to leave your fur-family alone, and I'll do everything I can to make this time a positive one for them, and you! I also offer cat boarding, which seems rarely offered. I wanted to offer this because I myself have been in a situation where I've needed this service, and I've never found a place that offers it, and it was absolutely so stressful so try and find a solution! For the kitties that stay with me, I have a completely separate spot in my house that I will have them stay in, since I have kitties of my own. The previous owner of my house actually had this section designed as an in-home salon, so it has a completely separate entrance into my home. As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.

Kaily did an awesome job taking our two dogs out for a long walk several times while we were on vacation and my mom was sitting them! She was a great communicator and flexible to work with. She was also super accommodating to each dogs needs. Our older dog Sadie got tired out so Kaily brought her back early and then continued on with our younger pup who wanted a longer walk. Would recommend Kaily!

About: I grew up on a farm with horses, chickens, cats and dogs. I am prepared to look after any size dog or cat and am hear to spoil them! I have helped a friends senior dog for about a year, she also had young puppies that I helped raise by feeding and bathing them and training them to go outside. I work a part time job but have plenty of free time to care for your pets. I have had time to raise a 7 year old jack russel/Maltese and have taught her commands. I would take work off to house sit to have all eyes on your dog or cat. During drop ins I always bring treats and make sure they get all my attention.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your New Lothrop. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in New Lothrop.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Lothrop. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
